Preud’homme at Murray park

29 Oct 2017 16:11:29
I’ll take him . Wouldn’t touch Tim’Homme with a barge pole all the same .

29 Oct 2017 16:24:52
There's a rumour that Preud’homme once wore sandals - no confirmation yet whether it was with or without socks. Don't think the footwear police will be happy with that tho, after McInnes ugg boots revelation. What's worse tho? Poll, ed?

29 Oct 2017 18:18:08
Who the hell is this guy?

29 Oct 2017 18:26:39
Sky sports website says Rangers do not intend to speak to him despite what his agent says.
Looks like this is simply a case of an agent doing his best to put his client in the frame for a job.

29 Oct 2017 18:39:36
A lot of rubbish . stop making stuff up

29 Oct 2017 21:24:31
Rangers will approach aberdeen with in the week if the sheep say no an mcinnes wants the job he will prob quit the sheep to get it

30 Oct 2017 08:05:57
Aberdeen willing to let us speak to McInnes if we r willing to stump up 1.5 mill worth it in my eyes to bring stability and a manger who is not afraid to tweak formation to suit the opponent

30 Oct 2017 09:00:49
I will be honest but I've never heard of him. I was hoping we would go the tried and tested route, not another foreign manager.

30 Oct 2017 09:03:22
Said his name last week and got 14 unbelievable’s and 0 believable 😂😂😂😂 not sure he’d be the answer was just passing on what I'd been told.

30 Oct 2017 09:11:22
No he wasn't at murry park dazbear, sky sports say that rangers have not spoke to hin and do not intend to speak to him (thank god) . We do not need another foreign experiment. We need mcinnes pronto! Why do people come on here and just talk pish? Dazbear please explain.

30 Oct 2017 11:24:39
I don't for a second think it would be the right appointment at the moment but anyone who's asking who preud'homme is clearly is either a child or didn't watch any football in the 80s.

29 Oct 2017 11:27:55
According to press Rangers have spoken Michel Preud'hommes agent and are waiting to see what transpires. He has a good track record, however I feel as a foreigner he would be hung out to dry if things don't go right. I think Mcinness is the safe bet. He will stabilize the club and galvanize the supporters. Blue nose through and through. let's hope this is the last bump in the road and we can push on back to the top.

TJBB I couldn’t agree more. I’m sure he’s a cracking manager but it seems as if managers from the continent just don’t seems to work out over here regardless how good or bad they are, with the exception of Advocaat. It has to be McInnies this time

29 Oct 2017 17:05:51
Mcinnes CV is nothing compared to preud’hommes And do we really want him just because he is Scottish and a bear. if we did go foreign one that has a good track record and insist on a good Scottish back room team to advise would not be a bad thing. A mixture of continental flair with Scottish ruggedness would be a good combination. Personality and man management is key to a good team as we know from years gone by a happy team is a performing team. Walter did it, Souness did it and Advocaat did it. All good man managers who never took bad performances quietly but did there talking in house and not to the press like Pedro

29 Oct 2017 18:20:24
Souness, smith and Advocaat all had millions to spend though, we are now potless

30 Oct 2017 08:58:42
Why the obsession with mcinnes? he has done nothing except finish second in a very poor league, so we pay Aberdeen a million in compo to get him, then what, we finish second to Celtic and we're all happy!

30 Oct 2017 09:01:01
Cause 90% are catholics and can't get to grips with our roots, sure they have probably heard stories but when they experience a full house shouting f the pope its another thing.

30 Oct 2017 09:10:58
When Souness came to Ibrox players would speak to him who would not necessarily have to spoken to Rangers such was his reputation as a player. The same could maybe be said for Preud’homme. I am not saying we should sign the Belgian but he could attract a better standard of player. If we sign McInnes then the DOF will have to earn his salary attracting the quality of player Rangers require to mount a serious challenge. Whoever the new manager is let's get 100% behind him from day one.

30 Oct 2017 09:13:49
Well said, bluenose, whoever gets the job will inherit Mark Allen, Graeme Murty and JJ right away. You can't just dismiss good candidates because they're 'foreign' that's a ridiculous outlook. Preud'Homme is far more like an Advocaat appointment. Not Latin, hardly a culture shock for him, great knowledge of Belgian, Dutch and Scandinavian football, won't bring in players from a country like Mexico which is socially and culturally as different to Scotland as you could get, I'm beginning to think it's not a bad shout. Certainly no bigger a risk than McInnes.

30 Oct 2017 10:37:19
My choice would be to hang onto Murty and Johanson as first team coaches until the end of the season. Let Mark Allen do his job in setting up the scouting system, and bring back Walter Smith as the Manager (remember, Bayern Munich just brought back Jupp Henckyss and he is older than Walter) . We could not possibly get anyone in Scotland with any more gravitas than Walter, and his record and stature stands up to comparison with Brendan rogers. He would not cost the earth and would instill the right behaviour throughout our club. Its a no brainer if he would accept.

I have it from a reliable source that derek mcinnes will be the next rangers manager and he is going to look at brining the following players with him either in jan or the summer

Joe lewis
Kenny McLean
Adam Rooney.

29 Oct 2017 11:27:30
total garbage. mcinnes won't be the next manager. well not if the board have any ambition. wouldn't even want anyone from aberdeen.

29 Oct 2017 14:43:36
He's not fay Aberdeen he's from Paisley ya fanny. 😀

29 Oct 2017 15:11:17
Think he was talking about the players from Aberdeen, I also think McInnes would not be an ambitious appointment. Our best route back to the top is through European involvement on a regular basis and his record is poor. Not for me.

30 Oct 2017 09:07:16
Mcinnes can do one as can those players!

30 Oct 2017 09:17:32
Initially I wanted a safe pair of hands but now I stay stuff it let’s roll the dice again and be the pioneers that we are, it’s our only chance of stopping 10. Mcinnes and McLeish won’t.

30 Oct 2017 11:01:23
"pioneers"?
More like the most conservative club in the country in my opinion.
