Rangers are to push ahead with a move for Arsenal starlet Rhys Murphy following an impressive trial.

Just heard that Leicester have bid £6.5m for jelavic, which we obviously threw out. Don't b surprised if this starts a trend for other teams trying to steal our better players on the cheap. I'm still worried were gonna lose 1 or 2 players before the window shuts. The manky mob r gettin rid of there dead wood and for decent money may I add. Samaras(Sunderland)-£3m, Maloney(Wigan)£2m. If we would have signed conway, danns, goodwillie and miller, net spend 3.4 million we would have gained 15 million frm champions league and win the league out the park which would have gained another 15 million next year, so the question has to be why didnt we sign these players?

I dnt think this can be said for certain although you do have a point and i have to concede i think had we had only signed miller and danns i think we would have beaten malmo if not definately maribor. Im not 100% sure how good DG would have been for us but i think he could of been good. Conway though was never the answer.

I agree with your point about spending the money before we even attempted the CL/EL qualifiers - speculate to accumulate.

The only thing I'd question is that the players that you have named and their desire to come to Rangers in the first place. I don't see us spending much today or tomorrow. Depending on how the league is going I think we might get a small budget in the winter transfer window.

If we had offered hemed 15k a week he would have signed or trickovski for 1.5m, put the right offer in for bedoya from the start (400k ffs), goian for 800k, would have been enough to see us through. only 2.7m spent

It was a suggestion/opinion that i made, If this guy is availible for loan and Chelsea accepted a bid from Stoke then why shouldn't we chance it?! Robbie Keane/Craig Bellamy both came up here and i think their total transfer fees accumulated is probably about 80 million between them.

Forget Theofanis Gekas's attitude, he sounds a similar player to Kris Boyd and i'd take Kris Boyd's scoring exploits back anyday. The difference between Boyd & Gekas is that Gekas has pace to burn and is a fantastic scorer at a very high level, a £1m which seems to have been quoted can't go wrong imo for somebody who is very likely to score goals and plenty of them.

Utter crap. Livermore has rejected a loan move to West Ham and wants to stay at Spurs. Why then would he relocate to Scotland.

Livermore is the more realistic and has been on the cards all summer Macheada on the other hand im not so sure but with SAF's choices up top i can see him being left out. If we get him on loan id put my neck out and say he could be a title winning signing.

I'd love to see a cheeky loan move for Mceachran or Kakuta. Hopefully a couple of fringe premiership players will be banded around just before the 25 man squads are announced.

I think ally should have went to another club and made a name for himself before he took this job.
