Is Kyle Hutton injured or something?

Believable6 Unbelievable2

No just not getting a chance as our midfield is probably the strongest part of our team

Agree0 Disagree0

Its a shame the "strongest part of our team" never actually sees any of the ball since we just punt it up the park all day long

Agree0 Disagree0

If its your stongest part of the team why miss it out with all the long balls then

Agree0 Disagree0

Fello out with mccoist

Agree0 Disagree0

Fallen out with manager over a tweer whilst sitting on the bench at a match earlier in season.

Agree0 Disagree0

Just hope we get a few in for a bit more depth !

Agree0 Disagree0

Lol at the last bit

Agree0 Disagree0

We wait and see and hope tempelton signs

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree0 Disagree0

Who told you hes DANIEL LARSSON,wouldnt know him from adam...........

Agree0 Disagree0

Cant see it but hope it is true cracking player with great pace would be a great signing

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope tempelton signs and love magowan to

Well with about 30 hrs to go it seems to have gone all quiet on the transfer from, sure there are plenty of rumours flying around but with nothing set in stone about new guys coming in am worrying a wee bit! Is anyone else? Anybody know any 1 who's signing for sure?
Big C

Believable21 Unbelievable8

An offer has been made for templeton and there should be a few signings according to Charles green . Both him and ally were at their hearing today at Hampden

El Hadji Diouf set to turn down Leeds deal to re unite with his ex team mates at ibrox source (leeds evening news) {Ed039's Note - Turn down Leeds deal? Didn't he already sign)

Believable13 Unbelievable40

To ed no he hasnt signed for leeds yet {Ed039's Note - He has played for them that's all)

Agree0 Disagree1

He is the last player we need lets get real here

Agree0 Disagree0

And what ex team mates are still at ibrox ?? {Ed039's Note - Alexander, mcculloch, perry, Hutton, little?)

Agree0 Disagree1

I think it was more the fans he loved not really his team mates!

Agree1 Disagree0

Didn't he slag off Scottish football after he left Rangers? Meaning the SPL so why would he move to Div 3?

Anyway, he's a person, the only man I've been ashamed of Rangers signing.

Agree1 Disagree0

Com on guys if we got him then great lets just get behind the team who ever it is fair enough he is trouble but wat a player he is

Agree2 Disagree1

Ed he signed a non-contract agreement

Agree0 Disagree0

Hardly any ex-team mates left. Plus he wasn't any good the first time. Our team badly needs pace. Some fearless youthful imagination wouldn't go a miss but I'd settle for atleast pace! Mr unpredictable is none of those things

Agree0 Disagree1

The guy is an absolute car crash. He will disrupt whatever harmony still remains in the team and have a negative impact on all new/young players and any chance of team bonding. Woe betide he who signs this man.

Whats the chances do you think.of rangers going for goodwillie. hes not gettin a game and blackburn have just signed rhodes possibly get him on a year loan if fee is too high

Believable14 Unbelievable43

I know him and i phoned to ask if he would and he said no cause levin wouldnt pick him for scotland but he is keen to leave blackburn after steve keane told him hed be leading the attack to get them back in the premier league then signs loads of strikers hes fecking raging

Agree1 Disagree1

Hee-haw chance!

Agree1 Disagree1

That'll be the same Goodwillie who scored for Blackburn this week. Not a chance o it happening.

David goodwillie to the gers after blackburn rhodes for 8 million

Believable8 Unbelievable33

Who's paying his wages ............?

Agree0 Disagree1

What planet are you on?

Agree2 Disagree0

Some of you lot are so deluded its actually quite amusing. The Rangers are a 3rd division club, time to start lowering your expectations. League 2 guys are probably more the market Sally will be looking at

Mikey Bhoy

Agree1 Disagree2

There is more chance than jelavic coming back than goodwillie coming in utter bs

Agree2 Disagree0

Fs man, another daft timmy tellin us we're deluded.. It's just someone postin sh*t timmy!! Happens on all rumour pages, especially yours! None of us are agreeing with it. So do one. Mikey BOY!

Dtp89

Agree1 Disagree0

I said SOME of you are, i.e the ones that post sh!t. 6 people have agreed with it actually.

Mikey Bhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

We could always pay goodwillie on pay per goal ratio wouldnt cost much lol. Lets just stick with Little and mcculloch and concentrate on what weve got. The team we have is more than capable of winning the div 3/2. Everyone thought these smaller teams were gonna be a pushover well we now see thats not going to be the case, its going to be a hard slug and very untidy at times, but hey when in the last few years has the SPL been attractive football. Lets get behind the team and support what we have instead of tearng strips out of the assets we do have at the club.

Charles Green in dialogue with Hearts over David Templeton and Callum Paterson (Scotsman). Manager admits that offers must be considered, such is the state of the Scottish game. Templeton will walk into team and stay there. Mate of mine (Higgy) played with his dad (who could play aswel) and says hes the mustard. Lad Paterson looks like the type aswel...... P.C Loyal {Ed039's Note - Private message me the name of the higgy who played wi his dad, it won't be posted. Real name please, I think I know who he is)

Believable28 Unbelievable29

Templeton won't come

Agree0 Disagree1

Was expecting this dillusional optimism on the final day .... What on earth we gonna get on deadline day tomorrow?

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree5 Disagree0

Lee wallace out no chance, bocanegra is probably staying aswell.

Agree2 Disagree1

Is there any update on players coming in today?

Agree0 Disagree1

Nothing like giving youth a chance??

Agree0 Disagree1

Blackpool fan - You have absolutely no chance of getting Barry Ferguson. Stop living in the past

Agree1 Disagree4

Fink has just flown back to Germany - they could have this class player for free but prefer to spend money on junk - whos getting the backhanders.........

Agree0 Disagree1

Be lucky to sign any of this lot!

Agree0 Disagree0

Skacel (Free) Nope
Hateley (Motherwell) More chance of Mark Returning
Templeton (Hearts)Doubt he'd drop to D3

Barry Ferguson (Blackpool) Not a chance

Templeton in 500000 move to Bristol City plus add ons, also rumoured to be offered 12000 wk

Believable20 Unbelievable35

Bulls*** lol I spoke to templetons sister lauren today as she's a good mate of mine :)! And she said rangers offered 300000, she said hearts want a £1000000-£750000 and if the wages are right he will go :)! Hopefully we can up the bid to land him!

Serious question time: Does anyone know how the SFL Trialist system works?

Just wondering if this is something Rangers can use to their advantage over the next year.

Is there a set limit to how many trialists we can play in a game/season?

Are we able to play the same trialist in numerous games?

Does a trialist have to be unattached or out of contract? Can we say, bring in someone contracted to another club as a trialist?

Do we need to pay a trialist a wage? Or register them officially for a game?

Can we go to another club, ask to "trial" one of their players for a month, maybe give them a fee (effectively signing the player on a short term loan without ACTUALLY signing the player as he'd be a trialist?)

Anyone in the know? {Ed039's Note - You can play 2 trialists for 3 games but after registration embargo wouldn't be able to offer them a deal, they also must be free agents and can not be paid a salary)

Believable4 Unbelievable20

A bit hard when Liam Lawrence just signed a 2 year deal with PAOK a week ago!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Good God can your morals sink any lower {Ed039's Note - How do you figure? The op was just asking how the trialists system works)

Agree0 Disagree0

Thanks Ed.

So at the very least we could use this avenue if we have a lot of injuries or suspensions

Maybe get some of these guys who have been boasting they'll play for us for free to put up or shut up! {Ed039's Note - potentially yes if a short term fix is required)

Agree0 Disagree0

To the person who clicked Unbelievable.....what is it you don't believe? The Question or the factual answer?

Agree1 Disagree2

Can't help ur selfs cheating can use . the shame never stops ! Angry Morton fan :'( {Ed039's Note - What cheating about it angry Morton fan? It is in the SFL rules is it not?)

Agree0 Disagree0

FFS. I asked a legitimate question about the use of trialists in the SFL, which has been used within the rules by other SFL teams for years, and suddenly I'm trying to find new ways for Rangers to break rules and cheat.
The Paranoid Android brigade are out in force today! {Ed039's Note - Indeed)

Agree1 Disagree0

Still trying to find ways to cheat again when will you ever learn. leon bhoy {Ed039's Note - My word)

Agree0 Disagree1

An angry Morton with a dad that supports Celtic? Everywhere in port Glasgow and greenock.

Agree0 Disagree0

Still folk shouting about us cheating..... but then on the other hand saying that we are a new club/company etc etc

So we had to reform.... start again in the bottom tier, take the punishment for effectively the old regime... but we are still cheating?

Grow up lads... you cant have it all ways! The best you can all do is go away and support your own team and leave us to ours!

Agree0 Disagree0

Before you ask/say yes i am a celtic fan ! cannot believe the gaul of some of yous.after everything your club has been through and all the talk of starting at the bottom and building bridges and trying to claw back some respect......you look for loopholes to get round the transfer embargo? your chairman (who i think is working wonders at the moment i.e put his money where his mouth is unlike other so called rangers men) accepted the ban even though it was ruled illegal in court. he took it on the chin why cant some of the supporters? pay your way like everyone else and stop looking for loopholes. p.s thought the ban was out of order and cant understand why its there! {Ed039's Note - there is no loophole, the SPL clubs voted rangers out and into the SFL, who in turn have a rule about clubs being able to play trialists either as a ay of looking at players in action or for a free agent to help on a short term fix, so how is a loophole being exploited when it is a rule that all SFL clubs can take advantage of)

Agree0 Disagree0

Just adding on to this ed... after a trialists period is up, can he be taken back on as a trialist and play another 3 games? {Ed039's Note - I don't think so, 3 games max I think)

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm from Greenock and I can't stand Morton fans, constantly call me a glory hunter even though ive stuck by my side through thick and thin!

Ive also donated money close to £300 quid in last 5 years to help the Tons youth team, so shut up and go away 'angry ton fan!'

Agree1 Disagree0

The SFL Chairmen and the SFA won't allow sevco/ Newco to find little loopholes to bring players in to break the legal punishment. It just won't happen. Anyone who plays a game in sfl3 needs to be registered with the SFA for that team. The SFA won't register anyone to play for the Newco. {Ed039's Note - Read up on the rules regarding SFL clubs and trialists before you open your mouth and let your belly rumble)

Agree0 Disagree0

Ok ed .why were the newco given a membership when they did not have the proper paperwork to apply in the first place.is it possible they used some kind of loophole to gain entry. leonbhoy {Ed039's Note - You really do know nothing)

Agree0 Disagree0

Is there any way ED, just say they are trialists but pay them in cash. we could use the cash from gate receipts by declaring less in attendance than there actually are. {Ed039's Note - Now that is cheating, and to be honest not from a fan but someone up to mischief)

Agree0 Disagree0

Hi Ed, you erroneously stated further up that the SPL clubs voted Rangers out. That is incorrect. The oldco was still in and the Newco applied to get in for the first time and was overwhelmingly refused entry. Hardly a voting out. Methinks your belly was rumbling. {Ed039's Note - So did they note vote to keep rangers out of SPL?)

Agree0 Disagree0

The fact we are even thinking about using this ruling is pathetic. The players we have, even at the moment are good enough. They are just not performing and neither is the manager. Its a joke {Ed039's Note - Agreed)

Agree0 Disagree0

Are you a Celtic fan?

Agree0 Disagree0

The SPL clubs didnt vote your club out, they voted against your club being allowed straight into the top league. Also it was the SFL clubs who voted you into their league not the SPL clubs

Mikey Bhoy {Ed039's Note - Always quick to rely on this page Mickey)

Agree0 Disagree0

IF we have a mass exodus in January or next summer them we can play trialists for up to 3 games. Trialists need to be unattached so will be out of shape/fitness/form or not good enough to find a club. Did Dundee not use trialists several times the season before last due to circumstances? Neil McCann played and so did a life long fan that played for Lochee junior team I think. Trialists could get us out a hole if we couldn't field a team but it's certainly not something to look at as a way of improving the current squad

Grant

Agree0 Disagree0

If i really do know nothing can somebody, anybody (since ed cant give me an answer)please tell me why the newco were allowed to apply for membership.everybody has bent over backwards and you just cant see it.scotlands shame. leonbhoy {Ed039's Note - Any club can apply for membership, you do not need 3 years accounts)

Ex Pompey duo Ben Haim and Liam Lawrence are holding talks with Ally McCoist and Charles Green at Auchenhowie {Ed039's Note - Liam Lawrence not sign for a Greek side or Turkish or something)

Believable3 Unbelievable32

Lawrence plays for PAOK {Ed039's Note - I knew I seen something)

Agree0 Disagree0

Liam Lawrence plays for PAOK in Greece ...next
The Airport Bear

Agree1 Disagree0

Is this the same Ben Haim who nearly shut down Portsmouth with his continually excessive wage demands, despite their speedy descent down the English leagues? Doesn't really sound very likely now does it? {Ed039's Note - Ben Haim didn't nearly close pompey down? The guy had a contract and was looking for what was owed to him and has not and will never get the money either so I think it is a little unfair to blame Ben Haim)

Agree0 Disagree0

Away and Combe yer face, they 2 will never sign for Rangers in the 3rd division, besides Liam Lawrence has not long signed for PAOK FC in Greece.

Agree0 Disagree0

Absolutely no chance. Liam Lawrence has recently signed for a Greek team and Ben Haim would be looking for somewhere in the region of £25-30k/week (and in my opinion is not worth £10k) - vastly over-rated defender.

Rangers have held talks with Aberdeen over the possibe signings of Ryan jack and Scott Vernon. also expect Dyron Daal to sign tomorrow. source aberdeen (evening express)

Believable5 Unbelievable29

That's all we would need Scott Vernon. What a front line that could be Vernon & Kyle!! Don't know which one is slower

Agree0 Disagree0

Nothing in the Evening Express about this, why post this rubbish?

Agree0 Disagree1

Who next Darren Mackie? Get a grip we don't need Vernon!

Agree1 Disagree0

I wouldnt sign any player from aberdeen, i just hope they are the first spl club to go under while we are away...kaikai

Rangers have offered 300000 for david templeton 1 year left on contract. 150000 for cammy bell. are still in constant talks with daniel larsson whos available for 200000 and michael finks gny b offered a contract tiz. source is coisty in the daily express newspapers

Believable23 Unbelievable33

I was told last nyt that temps was coming to rangers but just didn't post it as I was too embarrassed.. Best signing in years if we get him
Fauldsrfc

Agree0 Disagree1

Wiil they be looking for money up front given the lee wallace shambles

Agree0 Disagree1

Aye, Mad Vlad will be so keen to sell one of his best players to us, won't he?

Cammy Bell would be a great signing. Class keeper & much more reliable than Alexander. {Ed039's Note - Alexander not reliable enough for the lower rungs of Scottish football, he would walk into any SPL side even with cammy bell at Kilmarnock)

Agree2 Disagree1

Hearts want closer to 500000 and Templeton will be looking for at least 10k week, hes been offered in excess of that by Bristol City
also he is unlikely to play in the 3rd div, a step backwards in his career

Agree0 Disagree0

What is it with you people ? Why would players like David Templeton , Cammy Bell (who is out for 10 weeks) , Ryan Jack and Scott Vernon risk their careers by leaving SPL clubs to sign for a 3rd Division club who's future still hangs in the balance ? Kevin Kyle , Ian Black and Dean Shiels only signed as it was that or the Broo , you lot need to get real lmao

Agree0 Disagree3

Still trying to spend money you have not got .newco in administration by christmas

Agree0 Disagree4

Templeton ? ...dream on. Didn't Daniel Larsson want £10k per week too ??

Agree0 Disagree0

Would it be wise? Where has all this money come from all of a sudden? Why wasn't it there before to pay creditors a greater amount to have more chance of the cva being passed. Also, can someone tell me why we challenged the original embargo when we had no money or Europe anyway? I'm just hoping we're not going down the debt road again, I'm not really seeing signs that we've learned from our mistakes. Someone please put my mind at ease!

Agree0 Disagree1

Pertenant question. If we do buy players will we have to pay cash.

Agree0 Disagree0

Add another zero and you might get bell ktid

Agree0 Disagree0

Bell out injured for 4 months

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't need Bell - alexanders better. Fink and Larson- no idea who they are. Templeton - would take him but be honest all, he's nothing special.

30 Aug 2012 09:15:46
RANGERS are considering a late bid to land Kilmarnock keeper Cammy Bell in a £150,000 deal.

Well according to today's Express Rangers are after Cammy Bell David Tempelton and are still in talks with Larrson.

Believable15 Unbelievable16

Cooper agreed a deal worth 6k a week

Agree1 Disagree0

If we can get three of them I think it would've safe for the next year without transfer activity Cammy Bell we can get for around 3-5k a week! David Templeton around 5-10k a week and Larsson around about the same as the latter hopefully! :-)

Agree0 Disagree1

No chance larsson no chance templeton

Agree0 Disagree1

Cooper agreed a deal worth 6k a week! Is that supposed to be funny or somethin mate. And if not a 1st name would be good or is the guys name simply Cooper?

Agree0 Disagree1

David Cooper Templeton.

Agree1 Disagree0

Is David Templetons middle name not cooper ? his dad was a big gers fan.
