Has anyone heard anything about the Boris Pandza deal? I haven't heard anything for a few days and Ally has been "hopeful of a deal" for a while now. {The Ed039's Note - I would think someone would have to leave now that mobs I has signed)

I think the deal is dead as a dodo (spelling) I think McCoist has been really surprised how cabrari has been playing along side mohnsi aswell, but hope it still happens personally! Watp

Agree0 Disagree0

Hopefully Faure. That guy looks unfit for Sunday League (in every sense of the phrase).

Agree0 Disagree0

Argyriou and Black I would ditch as well. I know Black played ok against Albion R but he's not the answer long term.

Agree0 Disagree0

Read online today that the Pandza deal has been put on hold until the squad is trimmed of the dead wood. Good to see Mathers actually taking control imo.

Agree0 Disagree0

Deal is off ' unless rangers can shift a few heads. looking unlikely but fingers crossed. ian black should be sold as soon as possible along with steve smith total pointless signing's

Agree0 Disagree0

Deal on hold until fringe players are moved on. Pandza may not hang around watp

Agree0 Disagree0

Why ditch ian black the way he played on sunday if he is consistent on that performance he's in my starting 11

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed your spot on

Agree0 Disagree0

According to the Express the move has been put on hold pending the departure of fringe players and Rangers have several players they are willing to move on including Emilson Cribari, Kyle Hutton, Ross Perry, Sebastien Faure and Anestis Argyriou – but they need to find takers first.

Let's be quite blunt about this, who would take any of them except Hutton and he is injured.

ian black freinds with my brother and he's say he's on his way out to the championship deals being done today, checked the squad for tonight game and he's not included anyone else heard anything on this

Believable18 Unbelievable56

A lot of the 1st team haven't been chosen for the line up, Jig hasn't nor wallace and a few others, means nothing

Agree1 Disagree0

Lewis McLeod is not in the team either for tonight's game and also lee McCulloch and lee Wallace that doesn't mean there on there way out McCoist has probably let them sit out as its a friendly and to try other players

Billy bear

Agree0 Disagree0

Absolute poppycock black unfortunately will be staying

Agree0 Disagree0

Let's hope this is true. GovanFR_CPL

Agree0 Disagree0

He will be sadly missed

Agree0 Disagree0

By the Championship you mean the old SFL1 of course, no team in the English Championship would touch him!

Agree0 Disagree0

Well I seen him in Musselburgh today

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers can not sell or buy players until the 1st september full stop. {The Ed039's Note - Rangers can sell players anytime they want, the embargo does not prevent players being sold/released)

Agree0 Disagree0

Well said ed another person who hasn't a clue what their talking about obviously doesn't have a clue what embargo is about

Agree0 Disagree0

I can't understand why people don't like Black. He was one of our best players on Sunday and we will see a much better player this season now that he has a bit of quality beside him

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree black was great on Sunday and capped his performance off with a cracking goal long may his form continue, and I believe the were omitted from the squad today for Sundays cup game at Forfar as no trialists can play at all.

Only way black would be heading to the English championship is if there's a few dressing rooms needing a fresh coat of paint, he's rank rotten, he be lucky to hold down a starting spot in a league one team.

Agree1 Disagree0

Like I said he was in musselburgh I know for a fact that he's going nowhere his dad ian who drinks at the brigg in tranent says he's fine at rangers

Rangers goalkeeper target is hilario, formaly of chelsea and set to sign a 6 month deal by the end of august and emile mpenza is to get a trial aswell

Hilario is getting on a bit but would be a good aquisition to the squad as back up keeper. Not sure at this stage of his career if he would like to sit on the sidelines in the Scottish 2nddivision but you never know. As for mpenza, I'm sure he was a target of ours before we signed Torre Andre Flo and at that time he was playing well. I reckon getting him now would be similar to us signing the italian Maniero (If memory serves me right, we signed him when McLeish was boss but he didn't do much through injury etc and was soon released) so not sure if this would be the way forward. Decent name though with a good pedigree. On another note, had a discussion with a few mates at the weekend as to who we thought was the best Central Defender Rangers have had. Butcher, Gough, Amorouso to name but a few, however, would have been good to get a decent look at guys like Basil Boli, Danial Prodan and Oleg Kuznetzov. Thoughts?

Mpenza must be about 45 years old!

Agree2 Disagree0

31 Jul 2013 13:07:49
For me it would have to be Amarouso or Gough but I woul just like to give big Davie weir a little shout and hope management goes well for him, he never let us down even at 40 he was better than most defenders in the spl and was still playing international football at 40 to, would of loved to have seen him at ibrox in his mid to late 20's to see how much better he would of been with a bit of pace, sorry Davie lol.

Agree1 Disagree0

No chance mpenza is 35 now

Agree1 Disagree0

31 Jul 2013 13:49:12
Mpenza is 35 and hasn't had a club since January 2012! That surely would be a new low for Ally?

Agree0 Disagree0

Gough and butcher were a class act at the back but big amo wtf he was a bomb scare

Agree0 Disagree1

Butcher yes, Amo, no! There were also others like big Tam Forsyth and Graham Roberts that I'd put ahead of Amo. Amoruso was a good player, exciting even at times but as poster says, a bomb scare. Forsyht, Roberts, Butcher and Gough were solid, no-nonsense defenders

Agree0 Disagree0

Add a u abd s to hilario and u have hilarious because that's what the post is about mpenza and hilario worst ever

Agree0 Disagree0

Emile Mpenza was a legend in Champ Manager about 15 years ago lololol why would someone even post this. Mark Kerr was a good champ manager player too! Get him signed! Wonder what Kim Kallstrom is up to!

Renfrew Loyal

Agree0 Disagree0

Hilario has just signed for chelsea

Agree0 Disagree0

Hilario was at chelsea not anymore as for mpenza has he not retired? I agree with renfrew loyal kerr and kallstrom were immense in champ man 2002 same with mpenza {The Ed039's Note - Hilario signed a new one year deal at Chelsea today)

Agree0 Disagree0

Signed 1 year deal at Chelsea

Agree0 Disagree0

Anybody remember To Madeira? He didn't exist but would get you 40 goals a season. Good old Champ Man! There were fist fights over who got to sign Martin Palermo back in the late nineties.

This puts all the will he, won't he be signing for rangers to bed, because as I understand it from a very close friend who works at fir park nacho novo will be signing for Motherwell before the end of august, it's a 2 year contract,

Believable17 Unbelievable31

31 Jul 2013 15:04:59
Motherwell Have said the Estonia Striker will is there last signing no money left so WRONG!

Agree0 Disagree0

If he does good on the wee man wish him all the best still feel he could do a job for us past his best yes but the leauge we are in experiance is the vital aspect

Agree0 Disagree0

Good luck to nacho novo wherever he ends up, I really hope its not aberdeen though! Still love the wee man to bits and hope ally changes his mind and gives him a year contract. If its experiance he wants with guys like bouzza ar sidibe I personally think nacho would be a far better option, been at gers before and played lower league in scotland, ticks the boxes if u ask me
