Anybody who sees me post on here knows I don't post rumours about players. However just had a text from a guy who goes up on my bus and isn't usually a pish talker. Said Brighton are in for tav, 4.5 mill plus a sell on fee, and gerrard eould be willing to sell on one condition. If we can push though a deal to get Nathaniel Clyne on loan for rest ofor season. I'd usually say it's pish but I've no reason not to trust the guy who text me and after today maybe anything is possible.

Clyne is seen as surplus at Liverpool and definitely available as a loan. On massive money though although if Liverpool prepared to deal on wages this could be a goer.

Tav’s only 27, out captain and contracted until 2022 so I would hope we would get a decent amount for him if he did leave.

I can’t see that being true but if it is it sounds like a no brainier to me in fact I’d say giz 25m and we’ll finish our season without him lol it’s not that I don’t like Morelos cause I do but 20m is more than he’s worth in my opinion. That said we don’t really know the financial position of the club at the moment be nice to think we could afford to turn it down.

Morelos has a lot of potential he bullies defenders scores goals assists his team mates all at the age 22 year old this lad will do this were ever he goes on to play.
So a sum of 20 million is not crazy look at dembele fee and i would say morelos offers more to the team than dembele done at Celtic.

Morelos was watched by the Fulham scout Brian Talbot at the old firm game. I do some analytical work for Fulham, West Ham scout was in the stand looking at a few players from both teams as well. I believe Morelos will see the season out at Rangers then head south unless £15-18 Million is offered up front.

Regardless of how you rate the player, the going rate for a player who scored the amount of goals he does for one of the Old Firm, moving to England (or any big league for that matter), is well above £7m. Especially when the player is 22 and has years on his contract. It just is. You aren't a realist, you are clueless.

Sky sources: Bournemouth agree 18-month loan deal for Jermain Defoe to join Rangers.
The deal has two recall options – in the summer 2019 and January 2020.
The 36-year-old has made just four substitute appearances in the Premier League with his only starts coming in the Carabao Cup.

I know this opinion won’t be popular but I’d sell Alfredo for £15m with a good sell on clause and use that cash to finance Kent on a permanent deal for £2-3m and Ryan Gauld for similar fee, also take Solanke either for 18 month loan or permanently with the rest added to summer kitty.
I love wee Alfredo and think he’s been different class this season but his temperament still worries me and would prefer the players mentioned.

I was at Bournemouth games when Defoe was loaned to them at 17 years old, he was utterly awesome then, even a fraction of that form will do us nicely.

BiizzmyBrox, I first saw him at Lillieshall when he was 15 and he was the pick of his elite group. The year before him, Joe Cole was the star and the year before that it was Michael Owen, so he's been in top company all his life. If the legs are still there (which I'm told they are) he'll do the business for us.
