If it true then good luck Gordon not sure what you've done wrong, I'm hoping this Is not paving the way for Captain Calamity coming back I for one won't be happy about it, if it happens maybe this was written into his contract as well!

I for 1 hope its true, they all need a kick up the arse evn the development squad, they need hard trained if they wanna go anywhere, last 3 seasons rangers has been an easy place and earning big bucks. I would play for rangers with no pay and I would burst my nuts of, walking out infront of the ibrox croud would be enough for me to play my very best

Boyd was 17st when he warmed up 4 sub in old firm game right in front of me. A joke!, (and he hadn't even been on holiday). Anyone involved or was complicit and at a top team in Europe should be fired. Plain and simple.

former Coventry and Watford midfielder John Eustace will train with Rangers for two weeks in a bid to win a deal.

The 35-year-old was in Glasgow for talks last month following his release by Derby.

i guess that is a good way for MW to see how he is doing fitness wise ect, apparently he got a bad injury last season, so asses him 1stly is a wise move

If only we had done this with Daniel Prodan, this is the difference between old regime and new.

Apparently we took a calculated risk KNOWING about Prodan and hoping he would come good, the rest as they say.

True story is that his agent had falsified medical report made to say he was recovering, hiding the fact he really only had a 20% chance of playing.

The guy is very good saw him when on the piss in Swindon and the fans are very positive about him. Great shot stopper but can't remember about distribution etc as I'd had about 12 pints by then!!

My pal is a Swindon fan and said he was their best player by a mile, I'd like to have kept Liam Kelly and played him in one of the cups.

Any news on how Andy Halliday has done during his trial? Haven't heard much about him as all the talk seems to be about Reece Wabara.

I work with a Middlesbrough fan who says he's a good player but isn't one for tracking back. Not sure that would work for MW as he seems to like team players.

Good stuff, bring him in and hopefully get rid of mackay and aird.

03 Jul 2015 14:39:59
whats wrong with Mckay and Aird exactly? not been given much first team action over the past season or two. I think they will be very good players when given a run.

people are too quick to write players off as being garbage.

03 Jul 2015 14:52:16
McKay yes, Aird a big fat naw!!

Agree1 Disagree0

03 Jul 2015 16:51:25
Aird has had plenty of chances. He couldn't cross a road.

Mackay as I have stated in previous posts I have a few friends who are raith fans and not one of them has a good word to say about him. If he didn't stand out at raith or wasn't able to become a regular first team player there and he wasn't rated by their fans I'd say that's a good enough reason to assume he won't make the grade at ibrox. Aye he had a handful of half decent games against in division 3 against the likes of montrose and elgin but if I was playing for rangers in that league I'd have looked a no bad player

03 Jul 2015 16:54:26
Ps

Aird has played 81 games in 3 seasons for us in all competitions. I reckon he's had his chance.

03 Jul 2015 15:40:18
I agree stevemac in regards to mckay but aird is very 1 dimensional and he had a long run in the team he has a bit of pace but has no skill or finesse struggles to beat a man with very little technical ability , I don't want to get rid of him mind would like to see him after 6 months under some real coaches. Mckay impressed me in pre season last year then was farmed out I think he could be a star for the future if nutured right

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Jul 2015 17:53:32
McKay lacks strength for the physical Scottish game. Aird is a bottler takes one tackle and he disappears out of a game. The boy Tom Walsh is twice the player and can't function left or right and cross a ball.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Jul 2015 17:56:39
Totally agree with azzlee the two of them are still young. Given some proper coaching and they might kick on McKay I reckon has more of a chance than aird though. I mean none of the younger generation had a chance at all under coisty .unless it was to hit the ball as high as you can

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Jul 2015 17:59:02
Haha do none of you boys keep an eye out on boys when they are sent out on loan? What makes you think mackay has something when he was kept out the raith side by someone called Ryan Conroy and after a couple of runs in the side was deemed not got enough by their coaching staff and fans? If we signed a boy deemed not good enough by livingston/dumbarton/qots you would all be going daft and rightfully so, that's why I don't get the barrie mackay love in.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Jul 2015 23:53:13
I've said it before and I'll say it again MacKay will vanish out the pro game and end up in the juniors! He's not good enough and Aird ain't either. Both have pace but zero end product.

Agree0 Disagree0

04 Jul 2015 21:21:24
Mackay not good enuff and aird my god the guy is a terrible player and the 5year deal he had been given is a joke!

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Jul 2015 17:43:53
I suppose there is the chance Aird & McKay could shine under warburton but I have my doubts especially with Aird who can't cross a ball and like StuarcAC Says McKay isn't strong enough for me although I would like them to turn it round but like I said before I do have my doubts

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Jul 2015 17:47:07
Sorry I got my statement wrong in my last post it was right about now who says McKay lacks strength which I agree with and not StuartAC

Not a good enough signing in my eyes can't and hope it doesn't happen! Seen him play for under 21s scotlnd and he is lacking everything a team like us need.woulf be better getting novo back for a season least you know he will give 100%.

Agree0 Disagree2

03 Jul 2015 11:54:59
Don't know enough about him to give a true opinion but I do know we need a bit of strength up top. Novo? Really? Surely we need to move on from this loyalty to old players. We have already had great memories of players wiped out by dismal performances on the pitch and in the dugout over the past few years. let's not tarnish any more.
