Just heard through legiit sources from kinning park known bear, mccoist is not going to have any direct dealings with green. "middle men only will be used for any contact"!.

Believable32 Unbelievable21

Why would he have any direct dealings with a shareholder consultant? He's the manager of the football team. There's no crossover between the positions.

There is plenty of crossover of posittions. green is the king of this chess game with reputably 5,000,000 in Rangers. ally is just a pawn in. this sorry mess and at the end of it, green and one of his objectives is to remove as he sees it, this smalltime foot soldier,, another irrelevance out his road. green is waiting for ally to crack and dig his own hole.

Agree1 Disagree0

I thought green was away for good everything had settled down now he's back its just went to another level. how much the good paying fans take with this ongoing school boy stuff, ally is right to say what he did. green should stay away cause if he pushes us as fans then we won't be there to make him rich. i'm there to support my team and watch my team grow not his pocket. one thing I don't like is the inhouse fighting does not show the world that we are the people it show us as a rabble right now to me there are to many hands in one pot and now more want to have a say, SORRY GUYS ITS OUR CLUB, A FAMILY, LOOK AFTER IT CAUSE IF YOU don't THE FAMILY WILL DISOWN YOU THEN YOU WILL HAVE NOTHING BUT WE WILL HAVE OUR TEAM.
IN WALTER AND ALLY WE TRUST

Agree1 Disagree1

Neither of them should be at Rangers. Green is only there because the 'so called' Rangers men had short arms and deep pockets.

McCoist doesn't have the guts to get rid of his two hopeless assistants and replace them with people that can help him deliver. He is far too pally and not arrogant enough and that is before we look at his tactics. He is totally out of his depth.

He gives far too much respect to a bunch of part time teams when he should be looking at destroying them.

Not a Rangers manager in a million years.

Agree1 Disagree1

Hopeless assistants? Macdowell was there to take us to a European final and three leagues in a row.
The forfar game and the others last year are an embarrassment but that is where we are at the moment. The club has just came through one of the worst times in its history, lost a whole group of first team players, played last year with a team with a lot if youngsters and players signed, that although played in the spl would be nowhere near a rangers jersey if it wasn't for what had happened. People need to wake up an realise that we are not the same force we were and it will be a long long slog back up the leagues to come even close to where we were before. We are basically starting from scratch with a completely new team which is full of inexperience. We should still have the quality to beat these teams but results like this will happen from time to time. A sense of realism has to sink in soon. McCoist spot on with what he said about green and goes to show exactly how he feels about how things are being done behind the scenes at ibrox. ERK

Middle men surely you mean, 'muddle men'.

Has anyone else heard that the Pandaza deal is now officially dead know after yesterday's cup exit I heard this is because the money we have lost due to the early cup exit? Is this the real reason why? did he want to come in the first place? Or is things deeper than that like ally's Job? And therefore have to use the pandaza money to sack ally? Thoughts

Believable45 Unbelievable30

Celtic fan here but worrying signs again that your club are going to be fooked again. Why can't you have ordinary people in the background lol?

Agree2 Disagree2

Well if that's true it would
be money well spent as Ally is not up to the job so out of his depth how much longer. change now and give the new manager a chance to mould the team.

Agree2 Disagree3

How bout everyone gets off ally's back- he has moulded a team- but isn't allowed to play them! Don't blame McCoist blame the p****s that screwed us over!! Everyone asking for kids- but boo them when they don't win- get real there kids with talent but not experience! Ally's got a team and will prove it when allowed to play it- until then we are stuck with the crap like faure ( who I could out sprint) who to be fair ally signed--- but what choice he had- play another youngster too get booed, if demanding kids play then boo them from your house!

Agree4 Disagree3

He hasn't a clue? Out of 3 cups in his first year by end of August and then QOS, Abroath, Forfar Berwick ETC ETC ETC OUT NOW

Agree3 Disagree2

It is not rocket science the pandaza deal is dead. a new can of worms has now been opened up due to green back on board as a consultant representing shareholders. All transfers have now been put on hold until this sorry mess is sorted. my understanding is that Mather feels as if he has been surrounded like cherokee Indians around his wagon trains. green speak with fork tongue and Mather knows it. mathers power is non exsistant.

Agree1 Disagree1

Re OP. Jeezo we all know how bad things are at the minute but to even suggest that signing a player will be wholly dependent on continued participation in the LC is absurd to say the least and if not then it's time to paddlock the gates once and for all. so get a grip before the bus with the square wheels whisks you away .

Agree1 Disagree0

N. o 4 when we give our season book money, share money shirt money, or any other money that the fans give our club
i for one hope its invested better than it is
Ally said he wanted Rangers to be like Ajax
i hope we can play like Ross County, yes Ross County will do me just now

Agree1 Disagree0

He's a poor manager. I've thought that from day one tbh. Think a lot of people share the same view, but cut him a bit of slack because he was a legend as a player. Would much rather have McCall or Terry Butcher. Though I think we're stuck with him so it's best to get behind him.

Agree0 Disagree3

Well said widdy all these doom merchants weren't saying a thing last week. ally bleeds rangers and deserves some respect.

Agree1 Disagree0

We should have got rid of McCoist and got Mcinnes in. Chance missed I feel. Think he will do great job at Aberdeen. Maybe get him in future.

Agree0 Disagree2

Widdy how can you expect people to give him a break? We are out of the league cup in round ONE! take into account the other humiliations of the past 2 years and I for one am all out of patience. Malmo, maribor, falkirk and dundee united all knocked us out in his first season when we had guys like davis, jelavic, mcgregor, naismith, whittaker ect ect he just hasn't got it. He is so tactically unaware it is frightening. 4-1-4-1 away to forfar is an embarrasment in itself never mind the result. This squad isn't great but they are all full time proffesionals and they have lost against part timers in the league cup first round. The problem lies purely at mccoists door and I for one think he should do the decent thing and go.
GOVAN BEAR

Agree1 Disagree1

Aren't shirt sponsorships and other sponsorships linked to games played (on TV) across all competitions? Therefore no more televised rangers in league cup means less exposure for blackthorne and others therefore less income to club?

Agree1 Disagree1

Embarrassing defeats against part timers after extra time! Players played out of position! Playing with one striker who isn't actually a striker against Forfar!, giving respect to teams that we should destroy, wanting to be everyones pal!

This is not what is needed as manager of Rangers. Time for McCoist to go and take his inept assistants with him before we become an even bigger laughing stock!
