Rangers are interested in Marcelo Estigarribia (a left-winger)

Believable22 Unbelievable14

1 month old news? are you sure?

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm sure *thumbs up*

Agree0 Disagree0

I see it's also on Follow Follow that we're about to make a move for him. More rubbish I suspect.

Agree0 Disagree0

Seen him in the copa america, looked class and would be very surprised if a premier league or la liga team dont go for him

Agree0 Disagree0

He playing in copa america, watched highlights looks a handful

Agree0 Disagree0

Was sceptical at first but this one's gathering momentum on the net. Would be a fantastic signing.

My mate was at the Hearts game tonight and he said that Lee Wallace was expecting Rangers to put another bid in for him in the next 7-10 days

Believable15 Unbelievable23

How would he know? Never mind know a timeframe when a bid will be made.. Mince

Agree0 Disagree0

Did they announce that over the Tannoy ?

Agree0 Disagree0

Whytte better open his wallet and actually make a decent offer for him. He is a geat young player with rangers and champions league quality . WATP

Agree0 Disagree0

Did Lee Wallace pop into the crowd at half time to tell him

Agree0 Disagree0

Whyte did make a decent offer reported to be around the million mark which was booted out before Romanov slapped a £3m price tag on him. I agree hes a good young player but he's not worth anywhere near the £3m, we only bought Jelavic for justover £4m ffs

Agree0 Disagree0

So going to matches these days - you also get supplied with inside information, if you are going to make up lies, atleast try to be good at it.

Agree0 Disagree0

Whytte better open his wallet and actually make a decent offer for him. He is a geat young player with rangers and champions league quality . WATP

Would u not say £1m is a decent offer for an injury prone player with 1 year left on his contract? If we pay more than that then we're off our nut

Agree0 Disagree0

Would u not say £1m is a decent offer for an injury prone player with 1 year left on his contract? If we pay more than that then we're off our nut

Couldn't possibly agree with you more m8, you hit the nail right on the head, anything over £1m would be a travesty

Agree0 Disagree0

My mate said he had asked him after the game about the situation and I was only passing on information that I had recieved. {Ed031's Note - The players were all in the hospitality after the game. I was there. After the game all the players went to the hospitality fully kitted, not towards the changing room. Lee looked happy in the team and did not look like he was isolated, everyone was chatting after the match. Doesn't look like a player on his way out.}

Heard Rangers interested in taking Luka Modric on loan from Spurs. He is unsettled and wants to play Champions League football. Think he would be good Ed?

{Ed010's Note -my friend, I think you need to go and see about your dyslexia. In case you didn't realise, you typed "Luka Modric" instead of "Muka Lodric".

Believable13 Unbelievable27

Get away timothy.

Agree0 Disagree0

You guys kill me, Luka Modric, indeed1
paddybhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

Y is it anything rangers fans dont like here they always presume its a celtic fan lol sad indeed hail hail
daviebhoy08

Agree0 Disagree0

Ha ha ha celtic fan with nothing better to do

Agree0 Disagree0

Whats the problem? luka modric wud be a great signing imo.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why has no one pointed out that this is a guy thats been the subject of interest/possibe multi million pound deals from man u and chelsea? There is no way it would ever happen, would love to see it though Think Niko Krancjar however u spell it would be more realistic but even then it wouldnt happen.

Agree0 Disagree0

Modric is worth £25m - £30m so i don't think so.

Agree0 Disagree0

Haha ed thats the worst joke ever

Agree0 Disagree0

You know what annoys me - stupid posts like this get posted aswell as CELTIC fans posts when this is - please correct me if im wrong, "RANGERS" rumour page - when myself personally and plenty of other RANGERS fans, do not get their posts shown, but these sort of posts get posted aswell as CELTIC fans views .. i mean cmon {Ed001's Note - then go elsewhere, I am bored of the whining, it was clearly tongue in cheek, yes I would have deleted it but the Rangers editor clearly thought some people might find it worthy of a giggle. But skip it if you don't like it, it is very easy to just scroll past a post you don't like.}

Woodgate and Alan Smith to be offered 6month contracts to prove their fitness-will be given a further 18month deal if they can prove their worth-santa cruz is a non starter

Believable10 Unbelievable32

So Rangers will pay out tens of thousands each week for 6 months for these two to prove their fitness. Don't talk mince.

Agree0 Disagree0

None of the two of these guys are up to it I would, nt waste the clubs time with this.

quote from clyde 1 rangers make 1.5million bid for barry ferguson

Believable13 Unbelievable45

I checked their website and it said nothin about it.. find it hard to believe

Agree0 Disagree0

I hope you get him hahaha

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh god please no just no,

Agree0 Disagree0

Not that i would want him back but ferguson had a better passing success rate than fabergas bawbag

Agree0 Disagree0

Did, nt even get 1.5 million when we selled him

Agree0 Disagree0

I hope you get him?...was one a birminghams best players ya tramp

Agree0 Disagree0

So Rangers are willing to pay more for Ferguson, who is coming to the end of his career, than they offered for Goodwillie. Don't think so.

Agree0 Disagree0

Another Celtic fan at the wind up I think rangers wouldnt take him back and he wouldnt come back cos ae the stick he got before he left.
personally I wouldnt mind it, fergies better since he went to england and he's a supporter as well.

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh god I hope not, so called Mr Rangers ... Who brings down the morale of the team with his constant moaning at people HE deems not good enough for a Rangers jersey. Ally don't do it.

Agree0 Disagree0

Do we need any centre midfielders? Would he get a game?

Agree0 Disagree0

Fergie is a great player Would do a far better job than edu in the centre n would fit better along with mculloch than davis would.

Agree0 Disagree0

I was at preseason tonite in bellahouston park, and derek ferguson was there with his with and 2 kids, and one of the boys asked him about Barry, and he said there's no chance he'll play for rangers ever again Also said that the player we're about to sign is superb

Agree0 Disagree0

So knobby are you trlling me we will drop davies to let fergie get a game ?. dream on. another wind up and it seems to have worked. no chance

Agree0 Disagree0

Bring him back as a coach to moan at lemmon

Agree0 Disagree0

Only a real plonker could make this up.

Agree0 Disagree0

FARK OFFT £1.5mil ??, in your feckin dahreeeeems, FREE transfer and it's a deal

Agree0 Disagree0

Not that i would want him back but ferguson had a better passing success rate than fabergas bawbag

Now go and look at their respective assists

Agree0 Disagree0

Barry has had his day and we dont want him back, team spirit been brilliant since he sloped off

'Just been told Bellamy coming to Glasgow on fri for medical won't b at ibrox so he must b signing for the beggars hope it's not true'

As much chance of Messi at Ibrox as Bellamy. Apparently he's willing to take a pay cut to return to the land of the paranoid. Good luck to him. Remind me, how many medals as he actually won? He ain't got add much to his collection.

Believable12 Unbelievable22

Hope smeltic get him hes poo bad knees cant run and hell take septics money class

Agree0 Disagree0

Never done anythin last time he wis up

Agree0 Disagree0

I hope they dont get him he would run riot in the SPL... guys a class act was one of man citys best players

Agree0 Disagree0

Jealous LMFAO

Agree0 Disagree0

Lmao followed through in ma boxer with that one mate? Roy Keane? Robbie Keane? Freddie LJungberg? Joe Ledely? And welcome back the only man in british football who can actually hide up his own Crevis? Even Cardiff dont want him.... Keep talkin timothy, we are just waiting our time till these phone ins open again, prepare for superdhim board and Kneel Radio to get roasted. Just can laugh enough, oh i just cant laugh enough

Agree0 Disagree0

One of Citys best players??;) NICE WAN

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope its true cause he did feck all when he was there the first time

Agree0 Disagree0

I think you will find Mr Bellamy would fit right into the celtic team besides being a has been he isnt even a nearly now why do you think cardiff dont want him? question is are celtic stupid enough ? he could be a dolls house signing for the great unwashed..

Rangers are closing on real betis winger momo for a reported fee of 2 million.

Believable26 Unbelievable15

Sounds like someone from the sopranos lol

Agree0 Disagree0

How do you know?

Agree0 Disagree0

Apparently this guy only signed for betis in June so i find this hard to believe, cheers.

Agree0 Disagree0

We have just signed a winger mate

Agree0 Disagree0

He signed for them in June 2010. Can a club not have more than one winger considering there are two wings??

GovanFR

Agree0 Disagree0

Fair enough mate, article i initially looked at after ur post quoted June 2011 so apologies, cheers

Skysports.com understands that Rangers are interested in Australia international Mile Jedinak.

Mochaccino Latte

Believable36 Unbelievable11

Thats a big possiblity...he is a free agent who last played for gencerbirligi

Agree0 Disagree0

What position does he play? iv never heard of him

Agree0 Disagree0

Hes a big CDM :) looks like cracking tallent. Wouldnt mind seeing him at our club

McGinn.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm fed up that we are supposed to be signing all these playes that no one has ever heard of. Some of us are so gullable that we post comments like "semms like a cracking talent". How does he - cause we are linked with him. If the manky mob were linked with him we would be laughing at them for signing a freebie that no one has heard of.

Agree0 Disagree0

He's a midfielder.

asked my australian mate about him and he says "quite frankly atrocious"

Agree0 Disagree0

He apparently played very well in the Gold Cup, Spurs had a look at him in January.

Just been told Bellamy coming to Glasgow on fri for medical won't b at ibrox so he must b signing for the beggars hope it's not true

Believable17 Unbelievable20

I wouldnt worry about bellamy

Agree0 Disagree0

Why that? 32 year old glass knees cost them a fortune averages 1goal in three games and your worried away you go big rab by the way

Agree0 Disagree0

WOULD NT WORRY TOO MUCH, , HE S NOT THE PLAYER HE ONCE WAS, , WATP...4IAR

Agree0 Disagree0

Who cares if it is true? He won f**k all the last time and he'll win f**k all this time. All he will do is drain them of cash their debt ridden team needs. He's a mercenary and a dressing room menace and they are more than welcome to him.

Agree0 Disagree0

St mirren maybe?

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would you hope its not true ?

The fact of the matter is Bellamy is a step backwards.

Agree0 Disagree0

I hope this is true the guy wil unsettle their team and will moan if he is not playing. 4iar

Agree0 Disagree0

Heel play one game out injured

Agree0 Disagree0

The wee c', t can still score goals don't get me wrong he's caused bother everywhere he's been so hope him n the wee ginger 1 fall out

Agree0 Disagree0

Another player in their squad, how many is that now? 35ish? Wage bill must be huge. Debt will be goin up. Im sure Lloyds bank could lend them some money

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope they get him, especially on £70k per week. He done naff all last time he was here. Neither did any of the other "superstars" they signed on mega wages i.e Robbie Keane & Roy Keane.

nr85

{Ed010's Note -

Agree0 Disagree0

Hardly a step backwards .. he done very well in the spl when he was on loan to celtic back in 2005, and if he does return this summer he will bring plenty of experience to the celtic side.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm a die hard bluenose, but i will admit Bellamy is a good player but he is not the same striker he was 2 or 3 years ago. Plus he is currently on 90k a week at Man City and I don't think Celtic will match that. The only things Bellamy will bring to Celtic is a few goals, no trophies and a huge drain on their finances.

Agree0 Disagree0

Good another fud fae sheep S__ging land.
The dark side is full of weardos
Bring it on 4 in a row we are the people

Agree0 Disagree0

Who is the beggars rangers are the ones with no money celtic have loads of money

Agree0 Disagree0

Strange you talk of debt ? How much has the dark knight paid off again ?

Agree0 Disagree0

What did he do with Cardiff last season? He played for his local team and couldn't get them to the play offs. Plus he got his manager sacked. Bring it on.

Agree0 Disagree0

Past his best, he will spend half the season on the treatment table. Good player bt past his best

Agree0 Disagree0

Hahaha who cares?? He may of done OK last time but now he is 6 years older and not the same player. As has been said he will demand a huge wage, is injury prone with a huge ego and likely to cause problems. Personally I wouldn't mind too much if they got him, it'll be funny to hear them all bleating on, convinced he is the 'marquee signing' to win them the league only fail fail again. Also, why the hell is this on the RANGERS rumors page? Who cares who they sign?

Agree0 Disagree0

Hahahahaha we won the league when we were on our knees, REAL CELTIC FANS are embarrassed at this, and are just hoping they can won the title this season coming, the KID-ON 1'S LIKE YOURSELFS, are living in a wee bubble hahaha happy days........

Agree0 Disagree0

Bellamy stated last season he will only go to cardiff or back to man city unless he is a liar then thats what will happen, celtic pr at it again and timmys buy it.

Agree0 Disagree0

35 games for Cardiff last season 11 goals. £90k a week for that return in the championship is shocking. The Celtic fans aren't to keen on him going their.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ur right celtic pr machine does this so the numptys buy season tickets.

Agree0 Disagree0

If yous urny worried about Bellamy yous could ave fooled me wae 23 replies tae this rumour.Who r yous awe tryin tae kid saying hes finished av got tae laugh only yous come oot wae that kind a s:::e.kyle lafferty need i go on, a dont think so.

{Ed010's Note -we're only concerned that our Glasgow brothers might get ripped off (again). Why is that when we try to help you out, you always have to throw it back in our faces.

Celts will coast SPL next season. This Ortiz guy scored one smasher of a goal....so what, I scored one like that once Never heard of the guy....he played for Almeria for God's sake Bet he doesn't even sign, what's the chances?

McGregor secured on 5 year, £26k a week deal - good chance he's gonna be sold on. Santa Cruz, hahahahahahahaha, what a laugh - even if he does sign on loan (which I doubt), he's so injury prone - he's hangin together with string

Rangers will be insolvent soon and there's something about Whyte that should concern all Rangers fans......remember the concerns of the departing board.....Miko

{Ed010's Note -Miko, you do seem genuinely worried about what is happening down Ibrox way but I have one hyphenated word that may put things into perspective....."runners-up", I rest my case.

Believable14 Unbelievable29

Yet another jumped up celtic fan more woried about us than his own club kiss the badge on my chest cause use are always 2nd best watp 4 in a row plenty of doug

Agree0 Disagree0

LOOK MIKO OR IS IS MICK, JUST U AND KNEEL P*** OFF AND GIE US PEACE

Agree0 Disagree0

Hi Ed- "Runners Up" refers to last season. Miko is talking about this season. lol.

{Ed010's Note -my friend, it makes no difference whether it was a reference to last season or to this season, I stand by my word ! lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Always 2nd best?what a claim lol

Agree0 Disagree0

I can hear yer knobly knees knocking off each other, why do you waste your'e time typing such a load of shoite ? and how is it you claim to know so much about Rangers anyway ? your'e mob are a very poor second best in Scotland, 54 and counting YA COMPLETE ROCKET, jog on.

Agree0 Disagree0

MAYBE THE CELTS WOULD BE BETTER WAITING TOP SEE WHIT THERE OWN TEAMS UP TO LOL NAE DOUGH IN STILL WON THE SPL HA HA HAAA HOPE SANTA CRUZ DOES COME THEN WE WILL SE LOL 4 IN A ROW WAE DOUGH

Agree0 Disagree0

Nothing to talk about on the runners up page?. perhaps you could talk about the two defeats to auzzie teams on your pre season tour. you dhims really are worried about what rangers are up to. maby you could tell us how a club without any debt can become insolvent? interesting one. maby you could go down the bank and check your own debts it cant be long til ur giro is due in.

Agree0 Disagree0

AND THE ONE B4 AND THE ONE B4, , , , 4IAR, , , , WATP, , , , LOL

Agree0 Disagree0

Find it laughable a Celtic far is concerned with what were doing rather than concentrating on his own team. Yes, its been frustrating thus far for us Gers fans but I don't doubt Criag

Agree0 Disagree0

Aww miko are u suffering from champion envy ? So far u lot have signed some africian kid who's brother plays for inter next you'll be picking up beckhams daughter cause she's got potential. We've got most of our team tied down to contracts. What bout izzy n kayal ? See ye

Agree0 Disagree0

Away n huv a wash Mico

Agree0 Disagree0

This wee timmy is so so funny fail fail pmsl 54 and counting I think septic will not even be runners up to the champions rangers more like runners up behind the hearts or aberdeen are you having a panic attack yet timmy its smeltic that have no money yo ho WATP

Agree0 Disagree0

The gers are in better financial shape than for years, we're tying down the best players in the SPL (potentially the best keeper in britain) on long term deals, we have money to spend which I'm sure we all know ally will spend wisely. Quality over quantity, how many no hoper squad players will be lucky to see half a dozen games for celtic next season? Have fun with the crippling wage bill :D

Agree0 Disagree0

McGregor signed a 5 year deal so, aye, yer right, he's getting sold on... daft daft daft

Quite simple as to how Rangers can become insolvent. The £22m debt owed by Rangers to Llolyds hasn't been repaid as many Rangers supporters think. Whyte's company has taken on the liability for this debt. If Rangers lose their case against HMRC then the £22m debt transfers back to Rangers and Rangers then have to pay the £22m back to Lloyds. Also, on losing the case Rangers would receive a fine from HMRC estimated at £40m. So in all, Rangers will be around £62m in debt. That my friend is the very realistic scenario as to how Rangers could be insolvent in a few months time.

{Ed010's Note -my friend, Rangers cannot become "insolvent" because Craig Whyte's company owns Rangers and is therefore the major creditor. He can veto any attempt to "wind" up Rangers up and no agency can do anything about it. The worst that can happen is Rangers enter administration but surely you don't want 10 points of a start ! lol

Agree0 Disagree0

To the septic fan that say's all ortiz has done is score 1 goal and nobody has heard of him, I would like to ask did he know anythin about kayal or izzy wots his name before they came to his club? And both came from pish leagues at least ortiz has played in prob the best technical league in the world. so jog on and leave this page for the champions.

Agree0 Disagree0

Some points for you buns.

always second best. hmmm...we won 9 in a row first, won big boys european cup, qualified from champs league group stage before you and we did 3 in a row right before you did.

All our debts are secured by dermot desmond who is actually a billionaire (or v.close at least unlike whyte).

We are close to signing bellemy who would come to us unlike the big players you are rumoured with.

lost 2 games in OZ- we have only played 1 so far mongo.

You havent even signed this spanish nobody (and until he proves otherwise like kayal and izzy when they came, he is a 30 year old nobody).

You have signed up all your top players but what about ours?- Kayal and izzy already on 3 year contracts and brown wants to sign for 5 years so you my friend are also a mong.

Agree0 Disagree0

How childish is it when you say lemon instead of lennon and porkheid etc seriously you are a bunch of sad acts man your only making yourself look like a tt.

Agree0 Disagree0

The bottom line is the other team have no champions league revenue for the last 3 seasons and that will affect the books. lets just see what the next set of figures show. As for HMRC, ed is spot on, Craig Whyte has been clever enough that if we lose the case the club will still survive. I didnt see anyone else put their money on the table when we were on our knees and if im brutally honest i couldnt care if celtic won the next 10 titles, the main thing is we have not become the new "Third Lanark". because if Whyte had not stepped in when he did, realistically we would be on the verge of catastrophe.

anyway on a brighter note lets see who is celebrating come next may this season no excuses, referees and this siege mentality couldnt mask a team that bottled it against braga, utrecht, caley, Rangers when it mattered and hearts.

41ar here we go

Agree0 Disagree0

Right yous want bellamy ? one tackle out for the season yous have zaluska wow here we go 4 in a row gonny lsugh it yous suhin awful ya tit ortiz is quality signing for the spl ;) member utrecht :o braga

Wow - you must be in great demand for your outstanding financial acumen. How many FTSE 100 companies do you advise?

Agree0 Disagree0

Craig Whyte's company owning Rangers does not make them the major creditor. It makes them the major shareholder. If Rangers owe Lloyds £22m and HMRC £40m, they are the major creditors. If these amounts cannot be paid to Lloyds and HMRC, then Rangers will go into administration. Whyte cannot veto this, it will be the courts who decide. The administrator will then run Rangers, with the duty of raising as much as they can from the sale of assets to pay of these debts. Once this happens Rangers will be in liquidation and no longer exist.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lets just hope they get Bellamy big

This guy knows.

Agree0 Disagree0

And let's be honest what would Celtic be without Rangers and vica versa again another cracker from the darkside

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers qualified from the Champions League group stages first and did the leagues first 3-in-a-row. Craig Bellamy is probably moving to Cardiff. Craig Whyte is a Billionaire.
So almost everything you said was wrong... The Lloyds debt has been fully paid off as confirmed by the bank itself.
We also have a possibility of Champions-League footy unlike some.
Any other gripes you hold which you are misinformed about? Post them on your 'Runners-up' page... Thanks very much.

Agree0 Disagree0

Smell the glove Miko.

Craig Whyte in his statement to Rangers shareholders has confirmed the debt has NOT been paid of to Lloyds by Rangers, but his company has taken on liability for the debt, which reverts back to Rangers if the HMRC case fails.

{Ed010's Note -thanks to everyone who has contributed to Miko's piece of banter. The thread is now closed.

Agree0 Disagree0

Did you hear of izzagerri before he signed? kayal? not trying to be funny and say they were your best players last year... this sounds like a guy nervouse like f***

Agree0 Disagree0

I Response to "Craig Whyte's company owning Rangers does not make them the major creditor. It makes them the major shareholder. If Rangers owe Lloyds £22m and HMRC £40m, they are the major creditors. Rangers do not owe Lloyds £22m. Craig Whyte set up a company called "Wave" or something like that. That company paid Lloys £18m. Meaning the debt is gone. Now the £18m paid by Wave is currently a loan to Rangers, from Mr Whyte. On top of this £18m is added the transfer funds + stadium maintenance & operating costs so the actual figure is closer to £55m over 5 years. Meaning if the proverbial hits the pan with the HRMC tax case, Mr Whyte IS the major creditor therefore holding all of the cards. If we win the tax case the "loan" from Wave is dissolved.

All of this is there to be seen in black and Whyte in the shareholders statement.

Wilbert RFC.

Sky sports.com reveals that th Gers are leading th chase for 26 year old Australian Internationalist Mile Jedinak. He's a holding MF and rose 2 prominance during the Asian cup in January. Forgot 1 thing he's free as he left a Turkish outfit in the summer as he wants 2 test himself on a bigger stage (sounds very promising). Dunkie Bear

In lennon we trust hahahahahahaha am a rangers fan, and last season, i was beginning to trust lennon aswell, until the brick wall him and his team WOLLOPED up at caley, so after that, a lost the trust........

Agree0 Disagree0

You may welcome the chase but you won't catch us.

Did we no win the league last season? lol

Agree0 Disagree0

No walter to hold the team together this year , remember allys a rookie

Agree0 Disagree0

And lennons a vastly experienced manager who seems to be neglecting the fact you build a team from the back not the front. he might want to sell some of his missfits before he buys more the only thing is no one wants them.

Rangers will defo b getting Delph on loan from villa and r talking to Bradley wright Phillips today aswell.

Believable18 Unbelievable19

I think we better take it easy on the loan deals. Are spl teams not only aloud four players on loan?

{Ed010's Note -4 from Scotland but only one over 21 years of age. As many as we want from outwith Scotland.

Just received a text stating that Livemore and Khumalo are heading to Murray Park. Either my source is fulla gumph or the Daily Record is doing what it does best...poor reporting...

Believable14 Unbelievable21

I wouldn't believe the date in the daily record, never mind their stories

Agree0 Disagree0

Its on sky sports

Agree0 Disagree0

According to senior sources at Ibrox they are not coming.

Its poor reporting

Livermore is a non starter wants to stay in england

the defender is still a possibility but cant be that good if he's 25 and playing in the reserves

Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has offered Rangers two players on loan.

Bongani Khumalo is a 24-year-old South Africa central defender and Jake Livermore is a 21-year-old midfielder.

linked with albert crusat, small really quick forward, team mate of jaun manuel ortiz, promising.

Believable13 Unbelievable13

He was linked with Spurs back in may

Agree0 Disagree0

Any truth in this Ed ?

{Ed010's Note -nothing that I am aware of but as the Rangers "scouts" have obviously been watching UD Almeria, then it is possible that other players, including Crusat may be on Ally's wishlist.

Agree0 Disagree0

What age is this guy? was just in ibrox and seen young spanish guy with sandy jardine about 21 ish

Agree0 Disagree0

Crusat is a really good player - fast as the OP said, but he is older than 21. Good player if Rangers can get him.

Rangers not taking Livermore and Khumalo from Spurs.
Rangers sources apparently know nothing about it.

Source: Daily Record (through J.M.Ortiz story - pg 54)

Believable18 Unbelievable13

Because redknapp only said it to whyte as he's trying to better the two so its they havent been looked at properly by our scouts yet

Agree0 Disagree0

Sky Sports News, the Spurs manager raised the possibility of Ally McCoist adding two long-awaited additions to his first team pool, as talks also continue over the SPL club's purchase of Almeria midfielder Juan Manuel Ortiz.

"I met with the chairman, " he said. "I was very impressed, he's a nice guy. He came down to London.

"They are looking for some loans. I mentioned one two lads we would loan out if they were interested.

"We've got a lad, Jake Livermore. I still think Jake is going to come through and be a top player. He's got a great attitude, fantastic boy.

"He's been out on loan a few times and he's been unlucky, really. We've got lots of midfield players at the club and he's just not really had the opportunity at the moment.

"But Glasgow Rangers are interested in loaning him. He's a player that I would let go on loan again. It's more experience for him.

"It's a fantastic club, Glasgow Rangers, so it would be good for him. Ally [McCoist]'s a great character so he would be good.

"There's another young lad there, Bongani [Khumalo], who we took from South Africa. He played in the World Cup.

"He went to Preston last year when he first came over. Again, he's a lad who needs to get out and get experience but would do well at Rangers, I am sure."

Spurs and sevilla have agreed a fee of 6.5m for dos santos so that aint goin to happen. Swp wants euro2012 so that aint goin to happen. Ortiz is a winger so weiss aint goin to happen. And santa cruz, well, i can think of around 45000 reasons why that aint goin to happen. Mccoist has said no big signings so stop postin Fantasy

Believable11 Unbelievable16

Is there any chance you could pick me 6 numbers between 1 and 49 timmy?

Agree0 Disagree0

Wright then tell us your 45000 reasons then.O i you dont have 45000 reasons

Agree0 Disagree0

Ortiz Can play both sides of midfield and also play left and right back so a move for Weiss is still possible as ally is trying to bring in numbers and cover for all positioons

Agree0 Disagree0

I think what mr runner up is trying to say is he is on 45 grand a week

Agree0 Disagree0

Ortiz is a right sided utilily player, has played right back but is Gni be used right side midfield, aye ally said no big name signings in reference to buying outright, they would be season long loans and would be part paid by Manchester city, not heads anything about dos santos.

Agree0 Disagree0

Juan Manuel Ortiz's actual position is CDM but he can play LB or RB. So not a winger. SWP didn't get world cup playing for man city and you don't have 45,000 reasons why santa cruz won't be signing. In conclusion, you smelts should concentrate beating australian teams instead of getting beat

Just heard from a very reliable source that rangers are looking into the possibility of taking tottenham's back up players Niko Kranjcar and giovani dos santos on loan but they are also looking at their youth players such as jake livermore and kyle naughton

pk

Believable6 Unbelievable29

I dont think rangers will try and get niko his wage demand is tooo high even thro its a loan we would have to pay half the wages still too much

Agree0 Disagree0

They wont get kranjcar or dos santos

Agree0 Disagree0

In the paper this morning we're looking at a couple of season long loans from Spurs...didn't see de Santos' name there though..thank god he's rank.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ah thought the dark side had signed and sealed a move for wankjar

Agree0 Disagree0

Watch Harry Redknapps interview on Sky last night, he's everyones source. Krankjar wont be coming to Rangers on loan. Lets be realistic thats no a rumour thats just s**tE

Agree0 Disagree0

What do you mean THEY wont get kranjcar or dos santos?. yet another dhim on the champions site sniffing around trying to claim this and that. go back to the loosers page and talk about the 2 games uv lost on tour.

Agree0 Disagree0

Aye cos dos santos wouldnt get a game with lafferty in his way lol, get a grip you couldnt attract a player of his quality never mind afford to pay him. Rank lol you gers fans are comical. Suddenly this guy ortiz is a star- 5 games in 5 years at his first club, loaned out to diddy teams, 9 goals in 4-5 years with last team and relegated with them- Who needs Ronaldo.

Agree0 Disagree0

Harry red napper said you were getting Khlumo and livermore but senior sources at rangers said he was talking nonsense, not one metion anywhere it was the 2 quality players you mention.

Look like a move in the right direction for me Though I still hope we can get Wallace at some point, future Scotland left back for sure.
Davie

Agree0 Disagree0

I would think that Ortiz has been signed primarily to play as a winger, given that that is his first choice position. We're still gonna need cover at the back, and just because the lad CAN play in those positions doesn't mean that he can do the job of 2 men

Agree0 Disagree0

Move in right direction why, ortiz hasnt even signed and i bet you have never seen a minute of him playing lol. You need to sort your defence out i would say rather than a right mid/winger

Agree0 Disagree0

Lovely picture in the mail online of ortiz skipping by a floored danni alves , bring on loovens , big baldy and mulgrew lol 4 in a row here we go

Rangers to raid man city of vladimir wiess
shaun wright phillips
roque santa cruz

=)) heard it hear first

Believable11 Unbelievable31

I can see vladimir making a return and also think we could get santa cruz on a loan deal but i cant see wright phillips coming to the gers

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah i heard the rumor here but o from you and this is very unlikely although weiss said he would love to come back manchester is not having it and the others i dout i wouldnt say no to them

Agree0 Disagree0

Wrong, we heard it yesterday afternoon, and I'll repeat what I said then, " I don't believe this rumour "

Agree0 Disagree0

I would love to see these three players with the blue jersey on but like most of the rumours i think the wage demands are too high but if we can come to an agreement with Man City you never know.

Agree0 Disagree0

Posted on here the other day that weiss was with me wed/thurs, he is going to spain, no point in even hoping a deal will get done.

Agree0 Disagree0

Wigan are supposidly bidding for SWP....they are still in the Prem but I suppose Champs League football would be a lure Doubt it on his wages tho

rangers to sign goodwillie in next seven days

Believable11 Unbelievable29

Dnt need goodwillie , whos position is he taking , lafferty ? jelavic ? naismith ? would merely be half descent back up for the quality we already have, the end half of last season showed were a force to be reckoned with , the sillly jims, team of second rate championship players led by a man with a heart full of hatred, GERS 4 IN A ROW

Agree0 Disagree0

Are wee actuall to sign goodwillie

Agree0 Disagree0

Naismith played on the wings at the end of the season and for the majority of the season and was outstanding He reminds me on Nacho Novo perfectly capable as a striker but dangerous out wide, therefore Goodwillie would be a pretty good addition given the fact that Lafferty has largely failed at Gers prior to the superb ending he had last season.

Agree0 Disagree0

Goodwillie deal is dead

He told me tht his first option will always be rangers but he's keeping other options opening incase rangers dont meet the asking price or they loose complete interest in signing him.

Only 2mins down the road, well get up here big fella and we will have some fun. ill play the girl first lol.

In the pub?. the boys a diddy he should be in the gym. is it not booze that got him in to trouble?

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers should just pay the 2 million asking price for the boy, hes a cracker, still young, hes the first name on that dundee united team sheet, week in, week out, and to me, dundee united are the 3rd best team the scotland, without a shadow of a doubt, hes scored against us, and celtic a few times, and while am not knocking big lafferty, but we paid 3.7 million for him, so to me, 2 millions a steal.....

Rangers have agreeded a fee with Almeria for Juan Manuel Ortiz (source sky sports news tv)he is expected to sign on Wednesday

Also Harry Redknapp has agreeded to sell Jake Livermore and Khumalo on loan (source sky sports transfer centre)

Believable19 Unbelievable5

Right not sure about the first one; there's nothing on sky transfer center about it. The second is half right, Redknapp has admitted he is willing to let them out on loan and we're interested in them, however, nothings been agreed yet from the sounds of things. I'd like them to come to us as we're in need of some squad players as ally has rightly identified.
