You couldn't make that one up big wull or did you 😁

I would love it to be true but he's mega injury prone and no way he'll go from 60k a week to 6k a think he'll be away on loan in Germany or turkey for a season to get fitness up or he'll go to another premiership club

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Jul 2015 07:47:46
There's no way he's on 60k pw in the championship. At most 30k but I don't see that happening and I wouldn't want him back

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Jul 2015 07:52:10
Yeah ok can see it's cuckoo season with outrageous so called rumours

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Jul 2015 07:53:50
Shocker! Another x player linked with a return to ibrox! That aw we ever read about on here!

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Jul 2015 08:07:06
beleive me that's it verbatem as I was told but don't think he is on 80k a week only time will tell and seems sensible to me he is not fit does not want to play for hull who don't want to pay him for nothing and for certain he would score goals up here

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - didn't Hull players have a relegation clause in their contracts? I was told they would have to take a 50% pay cut following relegation.}

06 Jul 2015 08:26:45
Geezus!! That's a cracker . !!

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Jul 2015 09:19:20
No chance! Players should be here because they want to be! Not because they have no other option or to stay fit untill something else comes up

Agree1 Disagree0

06 Jul 2015 09:50:12
80k a week geez piece!

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Jul 2015 10:10:22
Canny see it but even a partial fit Jelavic would score a bucket load, great control, composure & aerial threat. Even if his wages were halfed at hull due to relegation & we paid half of that it still might be too much. I don't suppose Hull would just let us have him and continue to pay his wages. So we'd need to pay a good bit or the player would need to agree something temporary with them to allow it.

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Jul 2015 10:18:37
He doesn't want to play for hull in the championship but wants to play for us in the scottish championship I ok and the amount of plastic pitches we play on

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Jul 2015 10:39:46
No thanks as much as I liked the big guy a 6 month deal is no use to us at this stage . keep the faith🇬🇧

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Jul 2015 11:30:56
I read an article last night that had Jelavic on 30k/week at Hull. N'Doye is demanding 60k/week and that is making him more difficult to move on.

Jelavic won't be coming back to Scotland anyway. Our game is on the downward spiral. The English Championship is now a higher level that that of the SPFL top-tier.

BW

I would love this one to be true he may well be an old Ranger but the fans know that Whyte totally lied about trying to keep the big man and Jelavic actually stated that in leaving he had not asked to leave and did not want to.

He would be a sensation in the Championship like Negri was in the old SPL

Also we know he would carry this on against Celtic in the SPFL. For me he epitomises the type of experienced player Warburton mentioned he would sign to nurture younger players. What better education could Hardie and Gallagher get than from a star like Jalavic.

I do not see it happening but maybe a year on loan paying part of wages like Vuckic then sign him when we are in the SPFL

Rangers are after two young promising midfielders. John Mcginn and Jordan Thompson. McGinn would require Rangers pay a compensation fee of £250k. Jordan Thompson is already at Murray Park.

Believable23 Unbelievable4

05 Jul 2015 23:04:28
Really hope we sign mcginn. Cracking wee player though think a few championship clubs interested. Wigan and celtic also been watching him too so need to act fast.

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Jul 2015 22:33:33
Would love to see McGinn come through wasn't the best to come through st mirren ranks always the more favoured really like able lad but we need men in beside the boys we've got now some experience and then a few young lads
He's suing St Mirren for Steven Thomson incident is he not

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Jul 2015 23:26:40
Think McGinn will end up at another club. Not sure his family would have him at rangers. Celtic is obv destination

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Jul 2015 02:04:32
Jack McGinn's grandson would never play for Rangers and I for one wouldn't want him to.

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Jul 2015 06:54:02
Celtic have not shown a massive interest there interest went quiet soon St mirror were fighting relegation now relegated same with neil mccann all his family was celtic look at that outcome we have good chance of landing mcginn if we're serious with the bid and show we truly want his services

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Jul 2015 14:57:19
could not care less who his grandpa is, this guy is exactly the type of player we should have signed up already. Only proviso- has he recovered from his impaled leg?

Rangers have taken ex-Manchester United Under 18's player Jordan Thompson on trial. His Twitter is @x88_j and has been tweeting from Murray Park in Milngavie and has also followed Rangers Twitter account and Mark Warburton. All coming into place now!

Lad looks like a good player that can bring a lot to the championship. Some of these kids are going to be in the first team. Long live Warbs, we're no outsiders!!

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Jul 2015 15:12:11
Thompson has just turned 18 this week so I assume he's one for the future?

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Jul 2015 15:20:57
Signing youngsters doesn't really excite me 1 bit at this present moment, we seem to be missing the bigger picture here and are being a bit slow bringing in players ready for the 1st team, however I understand why MW taking his time as he clearly wants to make sure they are a proper fit,

Agree0 Disagree1

05 Jul 2015 16:07:40
Now we've got the boy's club sorted, I look forward to the arrival of players who are going to be the bedrock of the first team.

Agree1 Disagree0

05 Jul 2015 18:35:00
Hope people don't forget that this guy is the same guy who started a competition for youth football in England the guy is wanting to develop an outstanding academy we have the facility so we need these young players because we haven't enough young players to come through the ranks don't criticize mw he is only just came and let's face it these young players are potentially first team subs just like Andrew Murdoch

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Jul 2015 19:39:48
Good point well made GeeBear. Finally there is someone in charge who can realise the potential of auchenhowie. But hey we all know ye'll win nothing with kids.

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Jul 2015 20:51:47
The boy is 18 y will he not be playin in the first team?if yer good enough your old enough I would rather a keen young 18 year old givin his all than someone lookin for a pay day

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Jul 2015 22:03:50
Here-here!! Well said Ryan!!

We will need another 5 decent players though. Minimum.

4 or 5 injuries and your campaign is over with a thin squad.

SenioR

Beckham, Scholes, Butt, Giggs, Phil & Gary Neville the class of 92, who says you can't win nowt with kids? Oh that's right Alan Hansen thought that in 1996 & look what happened there, so if you are good enough you're old enough

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Jul 2015 03:37:29
Im sure SenioR was being sarcastic. Would imagine he knew what he was saying. Need a balance of outstanding young talent aswell as good players ready for the first team.

Any news on Stevie May deal?

Believable1 Unbelievable10

05 Jul 2015 11:18:13
Hope not he is not what club is looking for.

Agree0 Disagree1

05 Jul 2015 12:03:12
Correct me if I'm wrong aren't we looking for a striker? And isn't Stevie a striker?

Agree1 Disagree0

05 Jul 2015 12:27:56
We want a good striker. One that eill add value to THOS club not a player who had one good season and then moved on to a club and done hee haw. If you have saw this player in action more than the odd occasion you will understand he is a waste and will not cut it at a goof level .

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Jul 2015 13:31:53
Gez who are you to decide if he's good enough or not, if Warburton thinks he could do a job for us or if he sees potential and something to work with then that's good enough for me. As for your comment about seeing him play on more than the "odd occasion", unless you are a season ticket holder at Hillsborough then I'm guessing you haven't seen him play that often either.

Agree1 Disagree0

05 Jul 2015 13:38:14
He is a poor player had one not bad season in a poor St Johnstone team in a very poor Scottish premier league, has been found out down south and also in national games! I'd prefer Ally to lace up his boots again that sign May!

Agree0 Disagree1

05 Jul 2015 15:18:29
20 goals in 22 games on loan at alloa

25 goals in 32 games on loan at hamilton.

A fantastic season at St Johnstone where he was scoring for fun.

Granted he had a poor season for sheff wed but they are rotten and he didn't get the service as far as I'm led to believe.

You have to remember we are a scottish championship side so any promising youth player we could bring in is a huge bonus

Agree1 Disagree0

05 Jul 2015 19:27:09
This time last year we went for tried and tested ( i.e. Boyd ) and look how that turned out. Rather have him as another option than go with just miller & Clark

Agree1 Disagree0

05 Jul 2015 20:53:48
Your for getting one thing wrong mate he's not going to be playing at a decent level we r in the second tier

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Jul 2015 11:03:21
Craigh4510 sorry if I offended you by saying he's pish. I don't watch his English games I watch the Scottish games as my little because junior plays for the younger Scotland and likes to to go watch the older Scotland and that's how I see may playing.correct me if i'm wrong but i'm sure everyone is entitled to there opinion and for me may is terible. Never saw the guy have a great game .

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - to be fair he has mostly been awful in England anyway. Works hard but offered nothing in terms of a goal threat down south. Shame because I always like to see a grafter succeed.}

07 Jul 2015 12:05:13
I saw something about buying him for 1.5million from Sheffield Wednesday but I don't think We can afford that and I also don't think he wants to leave Sheffield

I have heard off a friend that is pals with Davie weir that Rangers are looking at the following youngster to see if they can get any on loan or even in on the cheap

ANDREAS CHRISTENSEN
FIKAYO TOMORI
Ola Aina
LEWIS BAKER
NATHANIEL CHALOBAH
ALEX DAVEY
ISLAM FERUZ
Alex Pritchard
Jon Toral

Believable1 Unbelievable27

05 Jul 2015 08:29:36
Chalobah unlikely as was at burnley on loan last season

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Jul 2015 08:31:26
Doubt chalobah has too much prem experience

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Jul 2015 08:45:31
That is some memory your mate has.

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Jul 2015 09:12:33
Christensen is going to Monchengladbach on loan, Spurs have already said that Pritchard is in the first team squad this season Barker and Feruz are on 10-20k a week and most of the Chelsea youth are loaded to the feeder teams rather than ousiders. Only belevable one is Torel and he only started 10 games for Brentford.

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Jul 2015 10:04:39
Never. Pritchard is injured and baker is away to vittesse already. Chalobah is a premier league player and feruz is a Tim. Stop saying names from games mate.

Agree1 Disagree0

05 Jul 2015 10:09:47
Absolute nonsense hardly think davie weir is going to reveal all our transfer targets get real not 1 of the above will be at us for this season living in a fantasy world

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Jul 2015 15:14:51
I do think Pritchard would be a likely loan target, however he is injured at the momenet, and played under MW at Brentford last season, However I would imagine Spurs would prefer to loan him to a championship club in England

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Jul 2015 16:01:53
Rangers have not a hope of getting Pritchard I don't know what planet some people are on yes he was at Brentford last season under Warburton but we are in championship in Scotland not England he would never drop.down to level we are at just now yes we are a far bigger club than Brentford but we play in a shocker of a league he would never consider coming here

Agree0 Disagree0

07 Jul 2015 21:53:34
Stay off Football Manager. That's half the Chelsea Under 21's you have wrote up. Never mind the wages they are all on, would these teams send us those players in to play against part timers? And as a final point Feruz has been a nightmare all over the place since he left Celtic, he won't be there!
