kenny miller just gave statement to turkish paper saying he is happy and would recommend a move to turkey to papac and davis.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

lol you don't even have to do research to know this guy is talking crap. I Have Just Checked A Ton Of Websites, And There Is No News On Kenny Miller Because If He Did Say That Then The Papers In Scotland Would Be All Over That. Anyway Papac Just Signed An Extension And Davis Has Said Himself He Isn't Going Anywhere And Wants To Start Contract Negotiations, So I Think Kenny Would Be Waisting His And The Turkish Papers Time.

Hi there, was wondering if anyone can confirm, or knows anything about the Facilities within Ibrox being upgraded this close season? Such as the toilets and cattering stalls. Im sure i heard talk of this happening quite some time back via some daily newspapers, But talk seems to have fizzled out. Personally think it would be money well spent, and long overdue. And also, was watching some videos of Andreas Granqvist, Looks like a direct replacement for Bougey, very impressed. But has anyone got, or know of a concrete source? Cheers

Heard a rumour through ex Ger Ray Wilkins (my dad built his house and remains a goid friend) that Rangers could make a bid to bring Chelsea's Yury Zhirkov on loan. He has said he will most likely leave in order to get first team football. Wilkins also said Zhirkov would take a pay cut as the lad is not money motivated and just wants to play. If he is within Gers' financial capability he should definetly be considered.Any thoughts ed?

Steven.

{Ed010's Note -Steven, I would be more than amazed if this were the case. It has nothing to do with Rangers ability to attract him to Ibrox but everything to do with finance. Yuri Zhirkov was bought by Chelsea for £18m from CSKA Moscow in 2009 and he signed a 3 year contract.

That means, next summer, he will be out of contract and will be able to leave Chelsea for nothing. It makes sense, that if he has no future at Chelsea, then they will be looking to obtain a transfer fee for him this summer, rather than loan him to another club in the last year of his contract and lose him for nothing

ed it was not 18 million where u getting that from ???

What is it with the Ferguson rumour - Barry was great for us but he's been finished for a couple of years now and was rubbish in his last season with us.
It has to be Frings or Gattuso not both as I agree we need youth strength and pace in the team

Just a wee rumour i heard dunno how much truth there is in it but Rob Earnshaw to Ibrox might be one 2 keep an eye on. I'm a forest fan up in scotland visiting family and its certainly doing the rounds down there. As a forest fan i'd hate to see him leave us but i think he'd do a cracking job in the spl and also in europe.

The lad toche seen him play a few times , hes a speed demon and has a wicked finish good age at 27 aswell would like to see him sign, i think ppl are forgetting we have lafferty aswell and don't be suprised if him and Jel are the 1st choice paring next season they were excellent together the last 10 games. . personally i don't think we need Goodwillie tbh i wud rather sign miller back on the cheap as he is much better and i think in europe we would do well

1. Kris Boyd will NOT re-sign for the champions
2. Steven Naismith will NOT leave this summer for any less than 5-8 million pounds
3. Gattuso WON'T come back Frings will be the midfielder we sign
4. Hamed will sing along with either Goodwillie or Miller but not both.
5. Bartley and Granqvist are Supery Ally's first choice centre halfs
6. Weiss seems to be going to espanyol therefor ally will look to craig conway on a free.
7. Ally DOES'NT want eremenko

Diouf is going to West Ham.
Bartley is probably coming but may be worth more than £1m.
Adam Rooney will not as he is irish and the only team willing to sign him would maybe be Smeltic.
Torsten Frings will probably sign.
Gattuso is too old and worth more than £3m.
Donovan and Goodwillie are worth more than that.
Rhodes and Ikios are not signing.
Weiss is going on loan to Espanyol.
Naismith will not go.
Boyd won't be coming back.
Bougherra is invoking the Webster Ruling so he will be going for £1m max.
McGregor will not go and hopefully sign a new contract as he has been quoted saying he wants to stay.

Doubt very much we will sign Diouf, Bartley is a possibility as Coisty has already said he would like him back, Frings possibly depending on wages, doubt we would spend £3m on Rino, havn't heard Donnavan mentioned in any rumour thread, Goodwillie possibly but not for as much as £2m, don't know anything about Rhodes or Ikios, Weiss will go on loan elsewhere, Miller was sold for £400,000 so why would we swap Naismith who is worth around £3-4m for him, can't see Boyd coming back and Bougie will be away for around £1m or less if the papers today are correct, as for Greegsy, think he will sign a new contract at Gers.

DEFENSIVE pair Andreas Granqvist and Emilson Cribari could be Ally McCoist's first signings for Rangers.

The new Ibrox boss has targeted the pair as doubts linger over the future of Madjid Bougherra and veteran skipper David Weir.

And McCoist, who still wants to take Kyle Bartley back from Arsenal on loan, will step up his efforts to get in new blood this week when he returns from a brief break.

I think you owe the orignal poster an apology, rhysw rfc. . as you obviously didn't check the source.

USA international Alejandro Bedoya is expected to make a summer switch with a host of clubs watching the Orebro midfielder.

Birmingham and Rangers are among those who have been keeping tabs on the 24-year-old, who left America for his Swedish club in 2009.

And such has been the interest in Bedoya, who is of Colombian descent, that Orebro's sporting director Magnus Skoldmark believes it is unlikely he will see out the remainder of the Swedish season.

"Several clubs have been here to look at Bedoya during the spring and I would be surprised if something concrete doesn't materialise for him, " Skoldmark told Nerikes Allehanda.
Improvement

"Alejandro has been really good during the spring and he's improved things that earlier were his weaknesses, such as scoring."

Bedoya has scored four goals from Orebro's opening 10 games having scored six from 56 games over the last two seasons.

He had a trial with Birmingham earlier this year and although Rangers have also shown interest, it is mainly Dutch and Belgian clubs that are targeting the New Jersey-born forward, who has seven caps for the USA.

"Some German clubs have been here too so I can't deny that there is interest in Bedoya, " Skoldmark added.
