cant believe what i'm away to type here - with my own eyes I just seen Peter Lovenkrands walking into Ibrox? surely not a return - had to do a double take man when I seen it.

Looks like he's contracted til July 2014 (wiki) but no harm in being nosey so sent him a Tweet lol {The Ed039's Note - Under contract until 30th June 2014 with option of further year)

Unless Birmingham rip up his contract that won't be happening. Birmingham, are however cost cutting so it is feasible. But at 33 I think we should concentrate on our youth product and not stifle them as has been the case for many a year.

What is it with people on here linking us with either ex players or players who are supposedly rangers fans!

Done a wee bit of research. he is contracted, though Birmingham have said he and three others are free to leave due to their wages!

Most ex players all train at Murray Park to maintain their fitness. His partner is from Scotland, so assume that he is up on holiday.

I'd take him back in a minute if it was possible, but I am all for new faces and younger ones at that, it's about building a cracking team to go through every single league through the next few years and won them all in concession!

What did he walk straight through the big blue shutter at the front of ibrox? His best trick ever and I thought he was only a one trick pony which was scoring against Celtic.

Im sure he would have been walking into Murray park and not ibrox or even just a hotel

Lovenkrands still has his house in the north of glasgow. He could have been just been passing by and went in to see old friends. Doubt very much he is coming back.

He was probably just passing, his wife os from govan so more than likely in the area and dropped in!

A one trick pony whos only trick was scoring against Celtic - a blueprint for a Rangers hero there! lol, seriously that's a wee bit harsh though, the guy was lightning quick and could dribble and cross a ball. Only criticism was he didn't always chase the ball - he would stand on the touchline and wait for it to come to him to the extent he probably had two white stripes on the bottom of his boots. i'm not one for having all these ex players back but I wouldn't mind him as some of our current squad could learn from his experience. Don't see it though.

It has come to attention that there is 4 new players coming to murray park within the next week. I have been told names but I wouldn't hold my breathe on these players tho.

Alves. He is a brazilian who plays for Santos.
Mangel. He plays in Japen
Castro. He in mexico
And unknown the other.

As I said don't you're breathe. As it just a RUMOUR!
But I do know Castro and Alves out of contract. But I guess thier all out of contract or we couldn't get them.

Are you talking about Jose Antonio Castro? He's still contracted to Atlante.

So Dani Alves, Joe Mangel and Fidel Castro? That'll raise the profile of the club lol

Do any of these players have European passports or meet the criteria for non-EU players as far as international appearances are concerned? If not, work permits will be cause difficulties.

No Jaun Castro. I think but as I said it is Rumours. But appartenly 2 are being linked fast as Ally wants them in before they go else where. all players to be in the age rage of 19-23 so I'm not sure.

Castro is in Cuba and I know Ally likes to the older player but this would be pushing the limits.

no its juan guillermo castillo my bad that's the guys name. As I said RUMOURS people not everything is true that you read. F**K if it was then BOYD MILLER AND ALAN HUTTON ARE BACK. So before people fly of the rails hold the fort. It's a rumour that may or may not be true.

Why would we sign castillo? he's 35 and still in contract.

Rangers have already signed peralta subject to work permit and he's non EU, so the guy who said it won't happen cause of the 3 non eu player rule is correct.

Tv has never been the same since Kerry mangle got shot in the duck hunting accident and joe went to pieces.
