Update from German linked rumour I posted days ago if Rafa isn't on the short list

Jurgen Klingsman and Claudia Renya are being talked about overseas.

Some of the names mentioned below are way off imo and the appointment of an experienced manager with potential and pedigree is to be expected.

Alister Johnson former director does good work for us in North America and is well connected with current board. We have positive forces in play.

Despite this season and the struggles of a man in Warburton who has conducted himself impeccably during his time with us I sincerely hate the situation he finds himself in but for me I'd be happy if we got third place only if king told us the sports direct contracts are null and void and rangers can move on. "Wishful thinking" chin up bears our days will come.

07 Feb 2017 00:02:14
klinsman hates scottish football does not rate it, don't know about reyna and what he is doing at the moment but very much doubt he would be interested, as for johnson he had a chance to get involved but blew out, as for the fatman he is not worth mentioning as it will take a few more years to get shot of him BLOODSUCKER

07 Feb 2017 00:06:27
aye mate jurgen kilngsmen is coming to ibrox

duno why people make stuff up

07 Feb 2017 10:13:08
To call the Ashley a BLOODSUCKER is an insult to BLOODSUCKERS all over the world. Ashley is going to court this year as he believes the seven year rule can only be revoked by him. Conspiracy! what conspiracy?

07 Feb 2017 12:51:36
Truebluesoblue, Klinsmann hates scottish football? Where did you see/ hear this? I don't believe for a second that he'll be a rangers manager but where are you hearing Klinsmann hates scottish football?

07 Feb 2017 15:50:28
Bleuranger, if he is a fan of football, it makes sense he has no interest in our version of it.

07 Feb 2017 19:10:25
Klinsman πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

07 Feb 2017 19:59:07
I heard there is a manager who last year won his league by 11points got to a cup final beating the champions of premiere league in the semis and added another cup to the trophy room and is at present in a European place, now who would fancy him

07 Feb 2017 21:21:37
Not many by the sounds of it, just shows you can spin anything.

08 feb 2017 00:12:59
prob going to get slaughtered for this but warbs could still turn this round at least finish strong and if he does if he nails 2nd and we find ourselves with a cup final will we really want to bring in someone were going to gamble on? plus waste more money paying warbs and weird and prob mcparland.

imo if warbs would only change the god dam formation even if rossiter were fit as he could still play in a 4-4-2! this is our problem plain and simple and if he doesn't change it then he's putting a rope round his own neck and my support for him is fading. a manager should be able to adapt and listen to the fans as its coming across as stubbornness.

hell you might think he would be like u want a 4-4-2 then here it is thinking the team would find this difficult thus showing us the fans in some kind of warped way of thinking i don't care how it comes and why the hell are some experienced players not having a private chat with warbs they must know they would play better as this 4-3-3 is a difficult system unless u have a squad of debrunes and neymars!

08 Feb 2017 10:45:37
Warbs could turn this aroundπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

08 Feb 2017 12:47:42
Cuillin72, the statement read "Klinnsmann hates scottish football". I am questioning where he heard that. I also said i do not believe Klinsmann will manage Rangers. What you think makes sense and what is fact are two different things my fellow bear.

08 Feb 2017 16:44:12
blueranger where i got this about klinsman was in the papers, when he was manager of the usa, he said he did not like scottish football as an ex player and as a manager, all they do is kick lumps out of you, this when bocanegra was playing for rangers, scottish football does not improve players

08 Feb 2017 22:19:04
Warburton could turn things round if he had a director of football that could find players that play outside of the lower English Leagues and he secured a decent young coach to replace David Weir. Can anyone really tell me what Weir does, he is worse than Kenny McDowall, at least he had a clip board!

08 Feb 2017 12:22:05
that seven year rule is unpresidented in contracts raguarding football merchandise and i hope that the courts see that and tell him where he can shove them.

09 Feb 2017 16:17:51
Stewie25,is a superb rangers fan who backs his team through thick and thin πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚! AYE right, i've never witnessed a constant anti rangers supporting, negative moaner on these pages in my life! Geez piece for a wee while at least! Who needs opposition fans when we've got so called fans like you! A simple question, do you attend rangers games or are you a shouter from the fireside? Be honest here!

06 Feb 2017 21:05:32
Bottom line - warburton to get the sack, frank de boer to come in hopefully king will give him at least 15-20 mil to spend in the summer and get rid of the wasters at ibrox i.e.

Tav
kiernan
Waghorn
Halliday
Hill
Forrester

Basically nearly what warburton has got cause they don't have the what it takes to
Play for our club.

I await the criticism but just being honest about any other manager of rangers would have been long gone by no 27 points behind from top spot and beating 3 times comfortably by your rivals and drawing 3 times with a team we should be beating and not getting smashed off hearts twice shocking.

it pains me to say this but we all need to accept this that warburton hasn't got a clue and people who think he does are deluded a walked into ibrox on Saturday and said it would be 1-1 I was expecting that rangers were never winning on Saturday sorry fellow bears just being honest again.

06 Feb 2017 22:16:19
Didnt know dave king was a magician - he's just going to magic up 15-20million (is that in transfers btw or salaries too? ) as well as a bumper pay packet for mr de boer?

Dream on, we'll be scouting for bargains for years - managers included.

06 Feb 2017 22:19:54
I wouldn't call hill a waster he has never let Rangers Dow neither has forrester.

06 Feb 2017 22:42:55
The only two on that list that should be out are Kiernan and Halliday.

06 Feb 2017 22:07:29
@southsideger - there is absolutely no chance of De Boer becoming manager. And there's even less chance of DK handing anyone a Β£20 million transfer kitty. So you can count yourself as one of the deluded but for different reasons.

06 Feb 2017 23:15:26
Hill is slow as a week in the jail and harry forrester is a ball greedy player and the 15-20 mil will be put in by investors of rangers warburton needs to go and take some of the wasters with him

07 Feb 2017 01:04:17
I remember when dick was rangers coach it felt untouchable and the player transfers were like being a mini real madrid . Keep dreaming tho pal cause that's what nearly killed rangers off

07 Feb 2017 08:03:14
Monday nights are the new Saturday nights!

07 Feb 2017 09:06:06
First time poster here lads. Ill give you a name who i think could actually do a job at rangers who has a knowledge of the scottish game. Tommy Wright. Could bring him in for a fairly low compensation fee and he's used to working with a very limited budget. Could bring some much needed stability back to rangers. have seen him on the sidelines a few times and the passion the guy shows is undenieable. Could put the fear of god back into some of these current players we have. Bring on the criticism.

07 Feb 2017 09:09:49
Whyte nearly killed us off.

07 Feb 2017 11:54:57
If the answer is bringing in the St Johnstone manager then there is years of living in Celtic shadow ahead how can any hers fan want Tommy Wright that smells of Desperation

07 Feb 2017 16:30:48
So basically you want us to head down the very same road we have just come back from . Seriously some of yhe posts on here boil my p1ss. I want us to have a bit of patience here folks. Maybe warburton is not the man for the job, maybe he is but I don't want any manager given 15 -20 million that we DON'T have. If we get taken over by a cash rich super daddy then fair enough but as we stand throwing money into it is pure stupidity

08 Feb 2017 22:20:19
Irrespective of whether Warburton stays or goes we should have seen the last of Kiernan and Halliday but what is the betting that Warburton finds a way of bringing them both back into the team!

08 Feb 2017 06:55:38
There's no way we will be going down that route again anytime soon, we will be looking for bargains for years yet but we do need to replace our manager asap as he is way out his depth now with very mediocre players who most of them if any at all have increased in value since they have been here I mean look at the January transfer window there was not a single bid for any of our players even the Barry McKay supposedly Β£6 million offer looked to be orchestrated from inside the club to get some money in in my opinion

08 Feb 2017 12:17:02
I will never forgive that greedy forrester for not passing to dodoo during last old firm at ibrox, well maybe if he scores a hat trick at parkhead, then I woke up lol

08 Feb 2017 12:31:45
id keep forrester all day long the boy has magic feet and in a better formation he would be a great wee layer

08 Feb 2017 19:44:36
Totally agree mate, really don't feel we need to spend all that tho, 3 quality signings (Bosmans but push boat out on wages would make sense) and playing a different system should get us a lot closer next year

06 Feb 2017 18:52:07
MW and DW are away at the end of the season and the rumoured short list for the job is as follows:

Shota Arveladze
Barry Ferguson
Frank De boar
Dick Advocaat
Walter Smith
Michael O'Neil

06 Feb 2017 19:21:33
the only one with the slightest chance we have is Barry Ferguson

De Boer Dream on

Dick Dream on

06 Feb 2017 19:24:30
Advocate would be on 40 grand a week pm there is 2 million for him, warburton and weir both got 2 year to run pm there is another 2 million. Buy 5 decent players at say 20 grand a week there is another 5 million before you even take transfers into account. So that's season ticket money away with a full season to pay staff. It's not happening unless there is major investment.

06 Feb 2017 19:50:51
Expert!

06 Feb 2017 20:06:13
What planet are you on. The only 1 I'd take would be de boer

06 Feb 2017 20:12:54
Arveladze?

Advocaat would want millions to spend again and would put us in the shit

Barry is young and inexperienced and whenever I check Clyde results they always lose or draw

Frank de boer yes please

Walter no thanks. Would ruin his reputation as we're in a mess

Wouldn't mind Michael o'neill he gets the best out of average players and builds on a solid defence at the same time as playing decent football

06 Feb 2017 19:14:32
Are you on the board or something or have you just made that up?

{Ed033's Note - This is a rangers rumours page!

06 Feb 2017 20:26:25
Where did you get that shortlist? Petrol station, delivery driver, a coach? Don't keep us waiting, we need to know if this true or not.

{Ed033's Note - Petrol station i would guess

06 Feb 2017 21:21:16
De boer to ibrox

06 Feb 2017 21:57:01
Managers without contract are first in line and yes frank de boer is number 1, how he needs his reputation back in line he can go to mid table bottom end of epl and be in a scrap week in and out.

If he gets the Rangers job and there is investment of at least 15 million for the summer then he will be there and he won't be with Ronald, it will be Orlando trustfull, we have also understood in past 48 hours Big eck, Walter smith has pulled out maybe they have watched the horror show and doesn't want the grief.

now Barry Ferguson has stated to numerous close board members who he is close with the parks ect that he would act as a interm manager until end of season for a pride and honour for the fans.

06 Feb 2017 22:11:11
@rangerstorm - the only one we could afford would be BF and that would be a total disaster in my eyes as he isn't exactly doing the business at Clyde.

07 Feb 2017 09:11:00
Michael O'Neill could potentially be a great manager for us.

07 Feb 2017 12:57:47
Spot on Lance Armstrong.

07 Feb 2017 13:27:56
Alex Mclesh will the new manager with Barry as a assistant there will be money to spend if some can be offloaded from the wage bill asa severance pkg will have to be agreed with the current management team so there goes more funds . But most of all if there is 2 nd place then the board will appoint a total yes man like Stuart McCall who also fancies it, so stop all the nonsense about De bore and millions to spend it's embarrassing

07 Feb 2017 15:11:46
Why are so many people on here delusional? Advocaat, Averladze De boer? Where is this money coming from? We can't afford to sack Warburton let alone pay for the wages of two of the above. Been an up and down season granted. But I think there's a lot of over reaction going on here. Last season warbs was the best thing since sliced bread now he's getting slaughtered every week. Long gone are the days of pumping millions of pounds into the club. I for one agree with the way the board are building the club back up from the ground. What would you prefer? Millions of pounds spent and the club liquidated yet again? We need to get out heads out the clouds here.

07 Feb 2017 19:20:34
Sorry but where are Rangers going to get Β£15-20 millions that keeps getting talked about? You are still waiting for then Β£30m King promised. Does that mean Β£45m is coming in the summer? Get real. You cannot even afford to sack Warburton no matter bring in someone like Deboer. You need a reality check. This financial mess you are in will go on for years. No one will invest as you are spending far more than you bring in so any investment would be used to pay debt. Who would do that? Rangers need to do what Celtic do and buy cheap young players and sell them for big profit and then invest in more young hungry players which in turn will win games and trophies and then get you into Europe to get the big money. Forget this angel investor who will come in and buy the league for you. Haven't any of you learnt your lesson?

08 Feb 2017 09:41:23
Waht lesson is that? it's Whyte who should be learning a lesson.

07 Feb 2017 23:43:01
i take it the De Boer being talked about is Hans Christian De Boer, the story teller who works part time in the shell petrol station in Rotterdam?

08 Feb 2017 20:17:24
People keep saying BF isn't doing brilliant at Clyde but he doesn't have very much to work with at Clyde (not to say I think he should be manager of us just yet but he will be a decent manager at some point)
