A question to all bears, did you want Rangers football club limited to become a public company?

If you answered yes then you must accept that there are rules and regulations that public companies follow, this includes election of directors at the company's first AGM.

The following may not be popular but it is what it is, the time and the place to decide who will be the company directors for the next three years is not at the next home game or indeed at any game

The notice of AGM letter, resolutions 2-6 states that, "all current directors will resign" and "offer themselves for re-appointment", shareholders will vote for each nominee one by one.

If McColl can get his resolution included then shareholders will also vote on the others put forward to join the board

That's how it is going to be, those who are calling for the board to be sacked or even just walk away should understand the reality of how the process will work now we have reached the point of the first AGM

Fans can certainly demonstrate and protest but should also be aware that ultimately the shareholders will decide

Money McColl put into club, zero. Money Mather put into club 1 million.
Mather promised Coisty players and he got them. I know where my loyalty lies.

Get the board out. don't trust any of the newcomers. Davey.

Well said @1. the fellow you talk about has not and will not put his name in the ring in case the it has an effect on his other businesses which are well named in these circumstances as there seems to be a lot of hot air being blown down on the Clyde

Mather may have put a million into the pot but what has he took out, does anyone think his jaunt last week to dubai and south africa was paid for out of his own pocket, on that note does anyone know what it cost to send him and stockbridge on the trip

@1 so your daft enough to state your loyalties lie with people you know nothing about and who are here as part of a long firm destruction of our club?

god help us

@1 mather only put 1 mill in to try get 5 mill out while telling all the gullible what they want to hear. mcoll won't put a penny in because he's not daft enough he knows it will b straight back into the spivs pocket

Fans votes are too small. The big investors block votes are what counts and mathers has 65-70% of those.

McColl represents investors who put in more money than Mather! All this he hasn't invested hokum is just distraction tactics by the board's PR machine. ALL investors have a right to vote and put forward whoever they want.

Not defending mather but there's no evidence to say he's made money off rangers maybe he's overpayed but he has invested more than most and didn't get 1p shares and huge salary like green and ally {The Ed039's Note - Craig Mather owns 1.8 million of the 1p shares and his basic salary of a reported £500k is more than Greens basic salary, it was Greens bonuses and severance payments that boosted Greens earnings)

McCoist told us Whyte was a great guy. McCoist told us Green was a great guy. He now tells us Mather is a great guy & he'd gladly go for a pint with him! Surely we must believe & get behind our manager who has taken a 50% wage reduction! Not me! I think HE is as big a conman as them & has had his finger in the pie for MUCH longer also. Get rid NOW!!

What age did McCostly turn up at ibrox? 19? With a few years exceptions he's been there thirty years taking money out. Nothing new.

Accounts are one thing. My question is where's the cash flow projections? How much will be in bank end November? End December? End jab, feb, March?

The Rangers Football Club Limited [RFC] is a private limited company [Company number SC4251590.

The parent company - Rangers International Football Club [RIFC] plc is, of course, the public limited company [SC437060]

RIFC is legally entitled to hold an AGM. the other doesn't.

RFC owns ibrox stadium and as was noted in the recent accounts has purchased other land & property in one-off expenditures. that is, to get back to the status quo where the club was all those years ago. Good job done.
