Hearing that we're very interested in signing a dunfermline athletic player, wonder who it is, has anyone any idea which pars player we're looking to sign?

10 Jan 2016 00:13:13
faissal el bakhtaoui? or lewis martin? they seem like the best options.

11 Jan 2016 09:41:29
I would love to see el Bakhtaoui at Ibrox. Looks like Dunfermline unearthed a gem there.

Josh Magennis from Kilmatnock is on the radar at Rangers.

From the way Warburton is going with signing ( young and British ) in terms of a striker what do people think of Scott Hogan from Rochdale or callum wilson from Coventry especially with Coventry struggling for money just now.

{Ed039's Note - Considering Callum Wilson signed for Bournemouth in 2014 and was one of their best players in the Prem this season before getting injured and Scott Hogan was signed by Warburton for Brentford at the start of last season ......... are you playing Football Manager 14??)

09 Jan 2016 20:10:51
Sorry my bad obviously got my facts wrong there lol but do use not think there's not a chance of Scott Hogan?

{Ed039's Note - He is out with a cruciate ligament injury until at least February and has been out for over a year with it already)

09 Jan 2016 20:13:24
Or even Matty Taylor of Bristol rovers.

09 Jan 2016 20:14:31
what about john fleck?

{Ed039's Note - We are just getting silly now)

09 Jan 2016 20:39:31
Only now Ed? been silly for a while.

09 Jan 2016 20:41:54
I know he left us for nothing but he is 24,he is a talented footballer and we get him for next to nothing.

10 Jan 2016 20:51:55
Sorry WATR. John is a pale imitation of his uncle and not a patch on Barrie McKay imo.

11 Jan 2016 22:49:46
It is Magennis they are looking at.

Heard a rumour that we have dropped our interest in the young Latvian striker because of his wage demands and have turned our attention to the Dutch striker Mitchell Te Vrede who plays for Heerenveen. Apparently a bid of around 1 million will secure his services. he's 24, the right age for Warburton and is strong and quick and a good finisher. Also I was delighted to hear that Ashley has had 1 billion wiped off his fortune and has been using human traffickers to supply staff to Sports Direct, with Newcastle going out of the FA Cup his World could be about to start crashing down hopefully. That will be a kick in the teeth to the Pro Ashley/Anti King brigade on here. Nothing personal Newcastle fans, just love seeing Ashley kicked in the teeth. 5-0 tomorrow, debut goal for Harry Forrester.

{Ed039's Note - We wont spend a million on one player)

09 Jan 2016 18:55:44
Te vrede has scored 7 in 12 games for heerenveen so doubt £1m would buy him your prob talking £4m max.

Its now gonne very quiet on us possibly signing brentford's defensive midfielder diagouraga especially as one certain newspaper this morning had us signing him today for around 500k.

09 Jan 2016 02:32:31
Patience young padouin.
Our player, he will be.

09 Jan 2016 11:25:48
This from the DR website,

Rangers remain on the trail of Brentford anchorman Toumani Daigouraga, but discussions will continue over the weekend with a view to him moving in a deal that could total £500,000.

09 Jan 2016 13:04:51
Pieandbovril, where is that story mate? I can't find it on the dr website anywhere.

09 Jan 2016 14:57:21
Do not wish to seem ignorant so I'm re posting this as my reply hasn't appeared yet, apologies if it shows twice.

Its under this story 15.Rangers boss Mark Warburton tells Accrington Stanley to dry their eyes after double swoop of Josh Windass and Matt Crooks.

09 Jan 2016 15:47:51
This guy is exactly what we need to help us secure promotion but I have grave doubts that we will generate the funds to acquire him since we appear to be primarily dependent on Investors and supporters other than King to lend the money needed on other aspects of the club and while we need serious investment in players to secure a successful return to the SPL Mr King is either keeping his money in his pocket or like Murray his promises are nothing more than moonbeams!

09 Jan 2016 17:01:08
Diagouara ( spelling) left out the Brentford squad today not even on the bench and has started nearly every game this season.
