Scottish sun reporting that kranjcar is on the verge of signing a 2 year deal and has given assurances he will be there for pre seasons.

09 Jun 2016 23:58:46
Apparently the deal is done, just need to get him over here to finalise the contract and sign.

10 Jun 2016 01:01:00
Let's just hope he still has some magic and desire to win something!

10 Jun 2016 01:04:55
Well that's the midfield taken care of! Still need a goalie, 2 solid centre backs and a potent striker and we'll be on our way to 55!

10 Jun 2016 06:49:58
Hope this happens very talented footballer.

10 Jun 2016 08:21:24
Verbally agreed, will be here next week to sign on dotted line and be paraded to media.

10 Jun 2016 12:07:48
Aye he is a very good player. Very happly with this.

09 Jun 2016 20:39:03
Notice I few people down south genuinely think joe garner is on his way to RANGERS just passing on what I've heard.

09 Jun 2016 21:12:56
Dont know much about him but looked at his stats last 2 seasons 24 goals in 43 games last season and more or less same this season for preston NE so he obviously knows where net is.

09 Jun 2016 21:37:14
Scored an absolute wonder goal a few seasons back in a playoff game for PNE. Not much pace though.

09 Jun 2016 22:06:46
Just watched YouTube video and he looks a player! Fingers crossed we get someone as good as this guy Infront of goal. Scores with both feet and head. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻.

10 Jun 2016 02:52:01
bigtrfc not sure where you get his stats from because I see season 15/ 16 he scored 6 goals and 5 assists in 44 games. Not good enough, would prefer Jay Simpson of Layton Orient 25 goals and 3 assists in 48 games, plus he only had 2 bookings compared to 12 and 1 red for Garner.

10 Jun 2016 08:58:54
Sorry my mistake that was season 13/ 14 and 14/ 15.

10 Jun 2016 10:05:56
don't know much about these players but I think mw will be spending some money on a striker and two cb, s to get the quality we need. not a lot of money but some cash will have to be spent i'd think.

10 Jun 2016 13:35:54
I would be very happy with either Garner or Simpson, Nick Ajose would also be a good shout.

09 Jun 2016 12:52:56
Ian Durrant is set to leave Rangers in a coaching reshuffle by Manager Mark Warburton

09 Jun 2016 13:52:09
Is this purely cost cutting or anyone heard otherwise?

09 Jun 2016 14:06:18
He wants someone he knows in for the u20's. He has this vision of all ages playing the same way, don't think Durrant fits that. I would expect an ex/ current Watford or Brentford coach to come in.

09 Jun 2016 14:22:03
As much as I love Duranty it's the right call it's time for new era across the board, I'll be wishing him every success in management, I feel he might be ally's no2 elsewhere nxt season.

09 Jun 2016 14:44:59
If we want auchenhowie to progress we need someone who knows what they are doing . durrant wasnt the answer warburton is restructuring the whole youth system which was needed.

09 Jun 2016 15:47:42
As much as I like him I'm delighted we are moving away from the jobs for the boys mentality at ibrox.

Good player for the club but he never enthused me as a coach.

09 Jun 2016 15:55:01
sad to see a legend go but he will remain a legend and I think yous are right it was needed to implament the style and philosophy tha warburton and rangers fans want to see.

09 Jun 2016 16:11:42
Think it's a good move. Our problem for years was having Ibrox littered with people like McCoist, Durrant and Durie. Cracking players but lucky if they could manage to cross the road themselves.

09 Jun 2016 20:53:55
1) part of ally's management team who failed to spot young talent at ibrox ie Barrie McKay, Ryan Hardie etc so probably not the best choice for youth coach

2) Clean slate and warbs vision for the future

3) Results! U20s results haven't been good enough of late.

09 Jun 2016 13:39:39
Onlyshow, jim stewart and billy kirkwood are the only 2 that will remain, durrant was one of my favourite players at rangers, great player, but maybe its the the end of the jobs for the booys stuff that's been happening in our wee country since the begining of time, and though ime sorry to see durrant leave its maybe a good thing, finally moving the club into the 21st century, time will tell eh.

09 Jun 2016 14:07:19
I do not think it is cost cutting I think rightly so that MW and DW want their own people at all levels, especially coaches.
Durranty was and is a true blue it is sad, however no one person is bigger than the club and its well being.

09 Jun 2016 22:12:29
Kevin 1984 agree with your 1st 2 points for sure with regards to the U20's results admitedly they were awful but I do think that we loaned half our squad out which adversly affected results.

I totally agree with rather than focussing on winning the league at U20 league Warbs focus is on improving these guys with Hardie, Jordan Thompson, Gasparotto et al and McKay in recent years all better players for their 1st team experience, will be interesting to see how Hardie and Thompson do next year in our squad, hopefully Warbs will loan out again if not making break through but Hardie in particular might be thereabouts.

10 Jun 2016 08:57:49
Definitely don't think this is cost cutting, it is mentioned on this site Durrant is on £200k, if true I'm sure a decent replacement would cost at least the same.

10 Jun 2016 10:33:54
I don't agree that ally was a bad manager he stuck with our team through the worst of times and had to scramble to put a team together within ten days! after that he wasn't just the manager he was our p. r. aswell and had to deal with rubbish from green and whyte.
I think given a chance ally with all his connections and knowlage of the game could be a good manager for some1.

fair enough his tactics weren't right at all but he will learn from that.

09 Jun 2016 19:17:26
Bit harsh good men, Durrant was a true genius, I would love to have seen him develop, I think he was one of the best players I've ever seen at ibrox, people will never know how good Ian was, especially the young people, he was electric, dynamite in fact, and way ahead of his time, him coop and ally carried Rangers through the days after the dark times.

10 Jun 2016 14:15:16
Good player, pish coach. Get somebody in who follows the same football philosophy as MW.

10 Jun 2016 13:14:39
I think Warbs would like someone like Durrant at the Club who loves the place an could instil that mentality in the young boys, he's just came up short as a coach though, he was given a season and Warbs just doesn't rate him. We move on.

09 Jun 2016 07:20:43
Heard that two strikers being linked with us are Nakhi wells and lyle Taylor. Thoughts?

09 Jun 2016 08:41:11
Nakhi wells class addition imo.

09 Jun 2016 09:50:41
We've been rumoured with so many player since the season ended. I think we just need to wait and see who MW wants to bring in. Deymars post mentions 2 players, both could be good additions to the squad. Wells is priced @ 2 mil and Taylor @ 300,000. Let's see what happens.

09 Jun 2016 09:24:51
Really hope Nakhi wells is true, he's a real goal scorer. A young Kenny miller in his prime if you will. He can finish, set up goals and he's lighting quick.

09 Jun 2016 13:04:34
Taylor is a free transfer.

09 Jun 2016 20:40:10
Joe garner is the name being passed about by pne fans.

08 Jun 2016 15:20:43
Right boys. I've posted a few intell bad ones. But I do think our big name that's going to come in is Peter Crouch. If he is still available. If not I think ( and you can all slate me if you want ) Alitdoure or possible Nunez. Both guys are wanting to get a fight back why not Gers and in a year or two sell them on for big money.

As I said it's just a thought.

09 Jun 2016 07:18:28
Crouch is 35 is he not? Not going to sell him on.

09 Jun 2016 10:01:26
If he won us the league n stopped Celtic getting to 10 in a row ad take him for a season.

09 Jun 2016 09:26:00
I honestly wouldn't touch crouch at all, he wouldn't get in my sunday league team. he's 35 now and he's passed it.

09 Jun 2016 10:40:56
Sorry lads. Just can't see it being crouch. Does that mean we change our whole style of play and lump the ball up front to crouch? Let's face it, what else would we use him for other than to see his wife at ibrox. I'll take any player who will win is the league but I just can't see crouch bringing anything to our squad.

09 Jun 2016 12:15:20
I'd love to bring big crouch to ibrox I agree there's no sell on there but he's a top class player and would bring a lot to the team don't no about the wages tho could be spent on younger players who can progress under w n w.

09 Jun 2016 13:48:07
Friend in a position to know (no connection with RFC) maintains the Lafferty story may come true if he is injury free after the Euros. Is the training injury a wee protector perhaps?

09 Jun 2016 14:05:33
oh please tell me laffatme is not gonny get another chancw with us he was ridiculous the first time work rate tremendous but 0 talent ran about the park like a doo wi no head.

09 Jun 2016 14:37:50
Personally I wouldn't want him but what u taking about James Stirling he was good for us. His goals to win us the league the season before we went down. Also his games for NI duno who uv been watching like.

09 Jun 2016 15:54:22
I'd love Lafferty back, a player with a love of the club, experience in the league, yeah not world class but at a level in which he could start some games and offer us something different.

09 Jun 2016 15:56:06
The way I remember it and hey I could be wrong, but big Lafferty got the title winning goals 3 seasons in a row. When it came to the nitty gritty he always delivered. Did he no get a hat trick in 10 minutes to destroy Kilmarnock that last season before the fall and ensure 20 000 turned up at Ibrox to see a lap of honour.

09 Jun 2016 15:58:29
well that my opinion of him eezyeez I didn't brate him when he was with us at all and I still don't. I don't want to look back at ex players.

09 Jun 2016 17:06:38
Lafferty against Kilmarnock wrapped the league up in less than 15 mins easy. Been top scorer for NI, if he plays well in euros we will be lucky to get near him but he has just bought a house in scotland with his wife so who knows.

09 Jun 2016 16:20:30
I couldn't agree more I liked lafferty when he was with us but I agree he was young silly and clumsy. If you watch him now you'll see he has merged into a decent player. Scores goals for fun for NI anyway so we'll see what happens.

11 Jun 2016 12:21:31
Don't want crouch, would rather a young hungry, eager to prove himself at a big club striker, lots of talent to be had in English championship and league 1.

08 Jun 2016 23:24:17
Heard that rangers are looking at the following free transfers to advance the team

Steven Taylor
Victor Anichebe
Stephane Sessegnon.

09 Jun 2016 02:06:35
Rarely fit (aka always injured)
Never scores, need a goalscorer not a decoy
Was decent back in the day but now he's gash.

Wouldn't take either 3.

09 Jun 2016 07:22:25
All 3 would do good in Scotland IMO if they can get a game in English prem they will star for gers . i'm sure if Warburton fancies them they will do a job he hasn't let us down yet.

09 Jun 2016 09:52:19
Thought Sessengon looked class at times but just wasnt consistent enough. But if we can get him he will cruise it here and we'd be getting some player.

09 Jun 2016 11:06:22
Sessengon will never be a Rangers player lol wage would pay for our team alone nearly as good as zlatman going To Celtic.

09 Jun 2016 13:08:31
Sessegnon deal is on hahaha.

09 Jun 2016 13:51:02
You think too highly of yourself, Sessegnon would be a fantastic signing. If he could reach his form of a few years ago (keeping in mind Scottish football is a joke) he could easily win you games, him and Barton would surely be better than brown and GMS ahah. Please stop Chavtic winning again. Good luck.

11 Jun 2016 12:22:30
Please not sess or anichebe.
