The express has wrote it! Anything to sell a paper! Wait and see once warbs is back he will make a statement slating the journo that wrote it!
Warbs Weir and the board have a plan he won't leave not a chance.

It's on various online pages. Surely King must sit back down with him?

Daily Express mate, i don't think they've actually collapsed though, i think that's just paper talk, once the time is right he'll prob sign another 1 or 2 year contract extension, hopefully anyway, don't wanty see the magic man going anywhere else tbh.

Lol according to the express he has not. However it was posted at 11 o'clock at night on a Saturday. Some one has had too many sherries at the office me thinks.

Interesting news at 11pm on a saturday night. And for that reason alone I'm doubting it's true.

Bears, King has offered Warbs a contract extension and contracts are negotiated yeah! Talks have not collapsed just cause Warbs has turned first offer down. People just tryin to create a negative vibe! Things going really well at Ibrox. Sure King will come back to Warbs with better offer, we want him King wants him and Warbs will want a pay rise and rightly so if the numbers I've been hearing are true. Get it right up the stirrers . collapsed LMFAO.

If there is any truth in this the Rangers board need to get this sorted out pretty quickly as Mr Warburton has transformed our club and this is only the start. He is laying the foundations. A blind man can see he is doing a fantastic job, he is bringing in great staff and players, at this stage when we are trying to sell the vision to new players their first question will be is the manager in for the long haul. How does he answer that . So come on Mr King, Get this sorted!

The journalist couldn't even get the absolute basic facts right re his current contract so I doubt there is much truth to it tbh. He signed a 3yr contract last year but according to the article he only has 12 months left to run.

Rangers wanted him to sign 2 years extension for the extra salary, Warbs wanted the money but for 1 year extension as he thinks 4 years is his limit for living away from home.

I've been hearing whispers on this for a couple of weeks as the reason Warburton has been so silent, the talks collapsed on the Friday before the cup final

He has three offers on the table for elsewhere but will see out his contract and then will be off.

If this is even remotely true, its a disgraceful situation, for the first time since Souness there's a team off the park being built capable of delivering something potentially very special on it, Mcparlane and the like won't stick around either if the board don't have vision.

I think if Warbs wants a 1yr ext instead of a 2 then King should accept this situation if Warbs stays for a full 4yrs that would be fantastic.

Andy the extra year would effectively cost the club £600k as the pay would obviously be revised from now, that's a tough one for the club to swallow and it's not just as simple as giving him what he wants.
