Twitter chatter, hardly surprising when both him and Caixinha are portuguese we will be getting linked with any national that's known over 30 or nearing the end of a contract.

Caixinha started his coaching career in and around Sporting Lisbon, so imagine players like Alves and Veloso are being linked because they came through that system. Probably little truth in it, though I would take Alves, played over 33 game for Cagliari in serie A this season, still far superior to what we have, though still 1 year on his contract.

I think That Izquierdoz would be quite hard to get we would. Need to get a work permit would we not? And he is valued about 2.38 million so don't know if we could get him
