Not sure how true this is but been told that a consortium from UAE are putting funds in. Apparently one of the reason Pedro was brought in was to see how the club was and what was needed done before they were willing to commit

I've heard there was investment but not form the UAE. Just very happy that we are bringing in some quality players. Long may it continue!

Hi Laudrup, I spend time in DC as well as my normal haunt of Texas and rumours and a recent comment made was that there would be investment linked to new sponsorship that would be announced before the start of the new season. Perhaps we will hear more at or before NARSA. The signing of Pedro has sparked a lot of conversation and while America and the Far Easy has been mentioned as possible sources, America is a bid Continent! Back in London now for a few days but will be back in the States in two weeks!

If we secure these Mexican players they are well known in their Home Country and they will open a massive market to Rangers. For years we have missed an opportunity in the USA and Canada and we have to start developing the Rangers Brand in those Markets. Mexico has some of the wealthiest businessmen worldwide, the Mexican people are crazy about football. If we can develop the brand there we can secure a stream of young talent for years to come. What a lot of people don't seem to realise is that Rangers FC is the best known Scottish Club across most countries. I am really hoping that we start to market the Brand effectively going forward.
