I’ve had a couple of weeks to digest the recent Old Firm match and there has been much said and debated about tactics, substitutions and G Murty’s suitability to be Rangers Manager on a full time basis. however, this post isn't about any of that.

It’s about something that I feel particularly passionate about and I know that fellow bears around me in SJR feel the same. the NEED to reduce Celtic’s ticket allocation for Ibrox.

Put them in the corner the same as other away supporters. They gain an advantage with 7500 of them as a solid bank of fans. Yes they will reduce our allocation, but personally I couldn’t care less.

On too many occasions, we have had to endure then singing their Republican songs and taunting us as we leave the stadium at the end of th. match

I say enough cut their allocation from next season

I 100% agree with you here at Ibrox our keepers are subjected to 45 mins of pure abuse and hatred and no one can tell me that this does not distract them, we are not given the same advantage at their midden, this was brought up at the AGM and glossed over but if we keep it at the front perhaps we will be listened to eventually.

Lads I get where your coming from I would happily reduce the amount of Rangers fans at Celtic Park, however there are a few issues.
1) Following the game where there were no fans an agreement was made on minimum amounts.
2) To police Celtic fans in and out of that corner with Rangers fans above them would be a nightmare for plod and they simply won't allow it
3) we have had the broomloan throughout the 90s and you loved watching it empty quicker than a virgins baws without worrying about it
Just a few points not looking for an argument or anything. Have a Good Friday

That will never change there was an agreement between the 2 clubs on ticket allocation. Also an agreement with police scotland for fan safety at matches on were to situate fans.

I hate the way they think they own ibrox nowadays, especially Brown.

It's down to the players to put an end to our endurance by sending them home defeated.

In all fairness Brown has owned Ibrox when he's been there. Maybe because it was his first love, but not his last;)

Two issues nakas, one, there would be no Rangers fans above you in the corner and, two, we police aberdeen, hibs fans well enough to the corner so you are no worse, or are you?

There would be Rangers fans above, and we both know a Glasgow derby is nothing like Hibs or sheep coming to town

The mhanky mob were requested not to drape banners or flags over the advertising hoardings and I'm sure it came as no great shock to any of us, when the request was totally ignored. I'm equally sure the board fully expected them to ignore the request as well. Now obviously this could affect our advertising revenue, and therefore cannot be allowed to continue.

So, as they will always do this, my question is, after all these years, why ask them to stop now? And could the clammer for them to be stuck in the corner have finally stung the board into finding a legitimate reason to shift them? We can only hope.

guys get over this. this is what adds to the game. Their dominance won't last forever, I can guarantee that!

Are any of you seriously saying that the police said that if we reduce the away support from 7500 to 2500 it will be harder to police? All I want is more Gers fans at Ibrox to watch the big games, what's wrong with that?

Hi Colster. Is that a reference to the insider info you had heard? If so hope this is true

seeker. Yep. If you pop over to the finance page you will see a name being mentioned. I can categorically say that this is not the guy. 😉

who cares where they sit, its down to the team on the park we never moaned when we were winning the league and doing the huddle on their home ground. why are some fans so petty?

14.) 23 Mar 2018
23 Mar 2018 12:44:33
Stop being pathetic. It won’t be that when we are winning again and beating Celtic because I never heard these complaints before. And please, forget about Scott Brown because too many rangers fans on this forum can’t help but mention him, it’s almost like an obsession.

15.) 23 Mar 2018
23 Mar 2018 14:26:56
We never had this problem when we were beating them, we just need a good enough team on the park and they will be quiet.

Reduce their allocation and they will reduce ours, what’s the point?

The issue arose when people were sitting in season ticket seats in the Broomloan watching brechin alloa montrose ect but as soon as they come calling its youll have to move to accommodate them. How can you argue with people wanting more RANGERS fans into a HOME game at Ibrox?

Colster do u refer to the two names I mentioned, I did not say either would be owners. I reported what is fact and available from companies house.
We can all infer by rumour we know who is coming in, unless u name them in advance it is worthless, as if u claim u were right, no one knows.

Keep things the way it is. The day is coming soon when Ibrox will become a fortress again with a strong and skillful team. There is no better sight than watching the celtic fans emptying the Broomloan Stand with 20 mins remaining.

20.) 24 Mar 2018
24 Mar 2018 07:30:04
Thats the point harryboy, our day IS coming and there will only be 42500 Gers fans there to see it, how can any Rangers fan argue with me by willingly limiting the amount of Rangers fans that can get inside Ibrox to witness it?

21.) 24 Mar 2018
24 Mar 2018 08:04:40
Jyf easy to argue with u. Why would u dilute our 9000 at celtic park.
I've followed our great club home and away also Europe and don't agree with u . Why not just ban all away support across Scotland, because that sounds like what u want

22.) 24 Mar 2018
24 Mar 2018 10:46:58
jboy what a childish argument, nowhere have I said ban all away support, or can you show me different? I am advocating treating our friends from the eastend the exact same way we treat every other team in world football when they visit Ibrox and that is to give them the corner. I don't care about parkhead, its a midden and you are treated like dirt by all and sundry when you go there. I too follow Rangers all over the world and doubt there are many (any) stadia where I get to take a home supporters season ticket seat.
