Few pages on twitter claiming that we are in for Phil Fodden of Man City. If it happens then the league is ours. Lad is far too good for SPL.

If he develops at the rate he has been and continues to apply himself he will be the next biggest thing in the EPL. He’s a standout at that level. I can’t see Man City allowing him out on loan as he’s close to properly breaking into first team.

Already seen an article saying Guardiola won't be letting him go anywhere on loan as he thinks his development will be better being involved on the fringe of their first team, so would doubt there's any truth in this.

Why are we looking at these young players on loan when we have got our own young players on contracts. our own young players have been beating all european sides and may i say most with ease so don't get it one bit

They are obv not ready for the step up to the first team albertz, or gerrard would use them. Hence why we are looking at other players.

Albertz I think Phil Fodden is way above any youngsters we have he’s prob way above most of our first team players

What about middleton? Hearing that he is more than ready unless gerard thinks different.

Middleton is a left winger, foden is a centre mid albertz. If gerrard is looking at foden then he wants to strengthen the cm position, if middleton is ready to step up then this does not strengthen the cm position. If gerrard thinks they are good enough then they will play. If not then they won't.
