Admittedly I’ve only seen Solanke once but he didn’t look that good at all. I was kind of hoping he just had a bad game that day as a lot of people on here were championing his possible arrival. If he does join us then I’ll support him.

Solanke is on 25k a week! I can name a good few that have been at Rangers on less wages and have been Legends!

I can't judge Solanke as he has never been Ranger but going by his track record it doesn't make for good reading

You had Jelavic shine at Everton managing 13 goals alone in the League

Solanke managed just one on the final day in 20 outings in the EPL

Jelavic was on no more than 15k at Rangers

Just my opinion Coldo and there are a few other players I can name

Only thing going towards Solanke is that he has EPL experience and he is young! He is still learning the trade

He would score up here No doubting it! I also think it would be an excellent move for the player as not only is he getting game time but he is playing in front of similar crowds at Liverpool and there are high expectations at Rangers

This move would also make him a better player That's my opinion Some will disagree and that's fair enough 👍🏼.

Hately was better than jelavic and would have been on less money kaz. Different era's mate👍. You can't compare the values of two players that are almost a decade apart. Solanke would have been about 12 or 13 I would imagine when jelavic signed for rangers. Nowadays there is no way we could have got laudrup or gascoigne, christ steven davis would be at least treble what we paid for him. 👍 c'mon mate.

Kaz, you ruined your own argument by stating "at this current time", even you know that you don't believe your own argument, you are clutching at straws. Listen, if solanke was at rangers he would also have a good scoring record in the SPL and he would also score at a decent level in europe so don't kid yourself on with that daft argument. Solanke has proven he can play in the prem👍. By your theory klopp should have morelos instead of solanke? I like morelos but solanke is head and shoulders above morelos and if we managed to pull off a loan for solanke then that would be a major coup👍.

Like I said, Morelos is proving it with his respective club by scoring goals I'm no denying Solanke is a good player but we will never know what he can do up here until he pulls on our famous blue jersey! So debates are at a loss cause to be honest!

If he were to sign on loan I would hope he would prove me wrong because of course I will be a very happy man if he is banging in the goals for us!

I agree mincepie Solanke has more experience than McBurnie in the EPL but he hasn't exactly set the heather alight either! He has played 20 games in the EPL with a return of 1 goal I know that the EPL is better than the SPL and he would score goals up here but people are saying he would score for fun! I'm not sure that would be the case if I'm honest with you.

Let's look at it another way If you had a choice of keeping a player Morelos or Solanke at Ibrox who would you keep? You really can't say as Solanke has never played in our league

So would you risk a proven striker going in place of an untested player?

I know I would go for the safe bet and keep Morelos as I know he can produce and also on a hell of a lot lower wages

Of course I would love two of them to play together though for sure

I would be excited to have Solanke at Rangers purely because he is a well known player in Britain

All over the world I'm not quite sure of that yet.
