Bryson is nothing more than an average journeyman pro, a midfielder who would bring nothing to us.

Bryson has had a really good career in England and unlike other young players who head south and come back North almost straight away he has stuck it out and played all the time at championship level.

If we are to win the league and have a conistent run in Europe over the few years we need a level above.

Box to box mid
Players player of the year twice
Not to shabby
Would be not bad on a free n decent back up
Could do a turn, as a back up
Always good to have experience in mid.

I agree Blue dreamer on a free this is a good signing he is a creative player who has been a consistent performer at championship level for many years. Will provide assists and goals. How good is our squad beginning to look. :-)

I think people who say not good enough for Europe are getting ahead of themselves we are lucky to attract Davis and Defoe and that has a lot to today with our manager we can’t go out spending the money Celtic can on players and Allen and SG are getting in a good mix of potential and established players.

Can’t believe I’m excited about Cowdenbeath in the cup but I just want to see how Defoe does.

Me too, looks like we are building a decent spine of a team and if we make a sub or have any injurys, have decent players of a good pedigree to come in and back us up.

Bryson a journeyman? 3 full time clubs and 2 loans.

Personally I think we don't need him but if we are going down this sort of route then why not look at bringing back John Fleck who has had a great career down in England with Coventry and Sheffield Utd and he is still only 27.
