Heard from a few friends that Gerrard is looking at a few talented young players who have been release in the premiership

Cohen Bramall
Charlie Gilmour
Connor Randall

I have also heard that we are looking at both Ashley Williams or Gary Cahill who are free to solve our defencive issue.

Sorry Ibroxstorm - - -as far as we are aware, none of the 30 odd players mentioned over the past few weeks on these pages, have been mentioned by SG or any of his team.
I'll hang fire for a week or 2 and see what happens :-)

What defensive issues? We looked pretty solid when Worrall was benched. We have a solid back four and hopefully a settled back four, any ageing centre half side will have to be happy with a place on the bench.

I agree but it’s hardly a defensive issue, any player brought it will have to fight hard for a place in the back four and will probably end up sitting on the bench.

Defensive cover I’d agree with but defensive issues indicates a problem which we need to solve?

Defence is solid? Katic is still learning, and Goldson is no leader. Defence is far from solid. It has potential but no way is it the finished article.

I'd rather have Goldson as skipper than Tav. Makes less mistakes than Tav. Not slating Tav here but I'd say Goldson is more of a leader than Tav is all ????????????.

We kept a clean sheet in 5 of our last 7 games and therefore yes our defensive has been solid without Worrall. I still say anybody we sign will need to be up for a fight as we’re not changing our current back four.

Katic is young and will learn but Goldson is a bombscare at times and very very shaky think we need 2 CBs.
