Most major papers reporting Derby to offer Gerrard management job with '8m bonus' for achieving promotion and a 2.5m salary.

If true, could be a disaster for us tbh. Considering the volume of players he's brought in.

Can’t see him leaving. He already rejected them the first time.

They'd also need to offer Rangers a fee to release him from his current contract which I believe ties him to the club until 2022. Money talks bit I'm sure Gerrard sees us as a better option than Derby.

Depends if he’s tempted by money or as he has already said he wants to stay here and kick on from last season I’m sure he will get plenty of other offers in years to come don’t think he feels the time is right yet.

It’s fine Rafa can replace him .

No surprise other clubs are wanting him but I'd be astonished, as well as absolutely gutted if he went now. Clearly loves the job he's in and has the chance to make a name for himself. One bad season in the championship, which is so tough to get out of, and his reputation is shattered.

Money ultimately talks, and eventually he'll move south for a big salary, but surely building his reputation and learning his trade counts more at the moment. These big money offers will only get bigger if he does well. He know it, and in the future, we'll accept it. Not now though.

I'd like to think that Steven Gerrard has some integrity and is a man of his word and stays to become legend at rangers. I don't think money will sway him as being honest derby are no where near the size of rangers and he says he wants to he the man who brings glory back to the famous Glasgow rangers.

gerrard is a very wealthy person and will be earning a good salary with add ons at Ibrox. He must know that if he wins the league for Rangers that his stock will increase and he will move a step nearer the Liverpool Job when the time comes. Why would he risk all of that to go to Derby where gaining promotion won't be easy!

He's going nowhere, it's media propaganda trying to unsettle us at Ibrox and sowing doubt into the minds of potential signings. We've been on the front foot for a few months now, proactive instead of hanging on to their tails, and they don't like it. I thought most fans would realise that right away and not give these ridiculous fantasies any credence at all.

Gerrard is a loyal ambitious person and Manager. He could have went to Chelsea to win title as a player but stayed loyal to his club.
As a Manager there’s NO WAY he would go to Derby in favour of us at this stage.
A BPL side like Newcastle could potentially sway him and even then I’m not so sure, but I genuinely don’t think he would leave in favour of ENG Championship club.
Maybe further down the line if he can’t achieve success here but he and we believe he can.
He realises the magnitude of the job and the World wide fan base, wants to experience European nights and title races so he is ready to take over at Liverpool in a few seasons.

I think Gerrard will stay and learn his trade here, it’s and excellent platform for his to become the future Liverpool manager. He’s not in it for the money he’s here to learn how to manage a huge club.
