Well that's the first part of my prediction come true (we will sign Kent for £7m once we remove some of the deadwood) . I see the real valuation now being reported is £7m and not £12m. Depending on shipping out the relevant persons we will be signing Kent before the window shuts! Believe me or not!

Let's say it's true, spending just under 25% of your annual turnover on ONE PLAYER would be madness in your current situation. Kent is a fine player but he still has some developing to do and what if he got a long term injury. It's like us spending 25 million on one player, absolutely not going to happen.

Forwarded the same info almost 2 months ago but the fee was closer to 6 mill, either way was never anywhere near the 12 mill the press claims.

on loan only option. no way is he worth 7 million. he was just mentioned as player of year can't see him repeating that so value highest it ever will be. love kent don't get me wrong but not at 7 million we need to shop smarter 3 players for that money.

Why not look to strike a deal with Liverpool to buy Kent for, say £5m, paid over two seasons with Liverpool getting 50% of any future sale proceeds over an above the £5m. That would be a good deal for both clubs given that Klopp does not appear to want him.
