Anyone know the deal with young Hastie? Is he going out on loan? Hasn't even sniffed the bench since after pre season.

I would think it depends on the situations with Murphy and Kent. If Murphy goes and we don’t bring Kent in then I would think he stays as a squad player. I’m more concerned about spending 4m on a CB who in my opinion shouldn’t be put anywhere near the team just now as we are doing well with the CB pairing we have. Money could have been better spent IMO.

Why play helander for no reason. He was brought in to improve our defence. Through the competition he has done that. When one has a dip in form he will get his chance.

We have a long season if we progress to the group stage so having 4 cbs who are all good is only a good thing. Competing to start does wonders for a players ability and we have god competition in a number of positions this season.

3 mill on helander! SG says katic is playing well so what's the problem? c'mon lighten up a bit . look at it from the view of what is katic worth if he continues to keep playing well and keeping helander out?
