I agree about those two. Gerrard says we're short of confidence, we were 2 behind with a game in hand, confidence should have been sky high! Seen an extract of the captains programme comments, disgraceful, he is just confirming that he hasn't got a clue or a captains bone in his body. I regularly get slaughtered on here when I said we would win nothing with tav, candaeas, ejaria, fods, Flanagan Holt Halliday Docherty., add to that Edmunson Katic Goldson Davies ojo Barker Stewart hastie et al.
Problem we have is our recruitment is exceptionally poor.
Some names mention re Wilson may be what we need, Ferguson, vydra Douglas mcrorie boys back kamberi and we need two centre half’s to compete with helander who may be slow, but can defend, tackle, heada ball and pass forward.

John katic is a cracking player, albeit recently not great but it doesn't help confidence when gerrard drops players for no reason which was happening to katic and kamara. You can aribo to your list. 👍.

what we need is a backbone . a spine of solid hard defenders. a midfield dynamo and 2 strong strikers, anything else can be brought in to fit. not one leader in team and we should have at least 6. gough, brown, fergies, coisty, hately, and many more,

Alfie wouldn't have been the boot boy among those men, but rangers have suffered so badly that an ill discipline minded spoilt kid from Colombia, who can't score from 2 centimetres, but gets goals because it would be almost impossible not to in his job, has become a GREAT PLAYER, in some eyes. nonsense, get the money and replace with RANGERS TYPE PLAYERS, before we return to the depths.

I thought it was just me that thought morelos was rotten. He can't even control the ball. Never scored against That lot but he is somehow our saviour. He looks very heavy since the turn of the year also.

I think john25 you are being a bit harsh on edmunson. The lad looks our most composed defender. looks strong in the air and in the tackle. Also has an eye for a pass. Add to that he is still young I think given a season to 2 with a decent partner and full back that doesn't have a right wingers starting position he will develop into a decent CB. I would like to see him partner hallander and see how he does. With his mobility and fils reading of the game could work. I would love to see us try a back 4 of
Patterson edmunson hellander barisic

I also think the lad docherty should be given a proper shot with us. He is a box to box midfielder with some engine on him and an eye for goal. Went down south and showed well and his start with hibs this year shows it wasnt a fluke. Again play him with a good standard of player and think he is built for playing in the SPFL.
