Watched a couple of their games, Leicester u23, to get a view of Bassey and no-one really stood out for me. Only liked the look of George Thomas AM and I believe he is out of contract.

Both aren't for the future they will be first team players. Both will be second choice full backs that will take the starting spot if tav and borna leave. The LB from what i hear is a solid defender that's built like a bear. Similar in style to Liverpool RB arnold. Not saying as good just similar style. Should he develop as hoped he will be a great addition. We paid roughly 230 - 300k for him and from talking to a friend down south could easily get upwards of 3 million before he kicks a ball. We have done our homework and had him watched by our own scouts and not an agency scout. Same with the RB. We have been tracking him for 18months now so hopefully beat some big teams to him.

Agreed, Stuart83, we are thinking smart here, the lad Bassey is already worth ten times what we paid for him. We seldom use agency scouts in the UK but we have certainly done our homework on both these boys and, as far as I'm told, another couple as well. We're doing this now to clear the table for the transfer window opening so that we can concentrate on a number of first team candidates from the short list we have put together.
