Signing the best young talent, that's what all big clubs try to do.
I'd be amazed if rangers weren't looking at the lad. Possibly souttar as well. Especially with hearts looking like playing in the championship.

Thats why gers should have gave a great deal to young billy gilmour the way smell. tic are doing with eduardo ayer and will cash in milions like they have with tierney van dyke etc so yes rangers should sign young taent over 4 yr deals hickey ferguson etc if not at the gers standards in 2 year move them on if at the standards or above it new deal will cost others more to sign him just like it will to sign morales or barasic just now.

I think you will find that Gilmours parents (Dad) was the driving force behind him going to Chelsea.

Dunno what games they’ve been watching but I don’t think he’s at that level. he can run yes. but he can only run if he can win the ball I honestly think every time I’ve seen him against us he was dire.

Gilmour would not be the player he is now if he stayed at rangers. His parents took the decision that was right for his career. The boy hickey gets destroyed because he's had some bad games. He is 17 and that would be the case for every 17 year old. You have to judge on his better performances because consistency will come. Anyone who thinks he is a bad player based on some bad performances doesn't understand football development.
