Remember Liverpool will be due £20% of the profit, so if we sell at £15m - double what we paid - they would get 20% of £7.5m, which is £1.5m, leaving us with a £6m profit which we would require for any replacement at the same or better level.

The ball is in our court, Leeds would have to offer over and above market value for Kent and why would we sell and not make a modest profit?!?! Any fee would include the amount we owe to Liverpool.

A £3m return is not enough for me, start talking £15m+ and it might be worth considering. Right now our squad is wafer thin as far as quality is concerned and selling Kent would simply make things worse unless we already have a replacement guaranteed and we also need to spend serious money on a proper box to box midfield player and offload Barker and Arfield.

The installments between rangers and liverpool won't change we would still be paying the same money. To be honest I think kent is outstanding when on his game but is he on his game enough to turn down 10- 15 million. I have also heard the money we paid for roofe and itten isn't what's been quoted in the press.

The one I watch constantly gives the ball away, never gets to the bye line and doesn’t create any assists.

Personally would cut our losses at £5M so to get £10M I would bite their hand off!

At the present time, Kent is one of the few quality players that we have and to sell him would be crazy and would question whether we really want to progress. It is bad enough having to watch Barker, who would we play in place of Kent, another has been like Arfield? We need to retain players like Kent and Barasic and set that as the minimum standard that we want across the squad.

In regard to what player you could get for half the price? Martin Boyle £1M scores the same amount of goals (maybe more) and infinitely more assists.

Now for £5M I’m sure our scouting staff would be able to lure someone even better.
