What a drop, zero ambition from the boy.

Good signing for Thompson 👍.

Asathor. Why zero ambition? He had no chance of playing for us and in all likelihood no better teams were interested, so he has signed somewhere where he will get a game and for a manager who knows him. If it was either Kelty Hearts or Man City he had to choose from then maybe I'd have agreed with you.

Asathor I'm pretty sure the boy will have lots of ambition just the same as his manager and his new team Kelty. I wish them all good luck and hope to see them making moves through the leagues in the upcoming seasons.

I know its early to say this but kelty hearts could win the scottish league two title, as KT with his rangers connection, will take a few of our good youth players to kelty 🤔.

I just feel that he would have had offers in higher leagues that is all.

SGL I’m not so sure we will lend to that level. We need 20 players for lowland league.

There is a very good reason why we are putting a colts team into the lowland league, and it is not to loan to the likes of Kelty.

The boy will develop further under Kevin Thomson. Let's face it he could definitely have went to a much better league with a much better team. Thinking Thomson is the reason and not a lack of ambition. You find a coach that you believe makes you better you will want to play for them no matter what league.

This was probably arranged with Kevin before he went and will probably have a plan for more I would think . I think it’s a reasonable solution.

And anyway, there’s always a chance there’s a reason for that move, possibly underlying issue or just someone that they know won’t make it at a higher level, that could be anything from injury to natural fitness issues, might be that anyone interested didn’t want to take a chance, who knows.

I commend the boy for willing to drop down divisions to play every week. Won’t be the 1st or last player to do this now it’s up to him how far he can go, if he tears it up he will be offered 1st team football in Scottish Championship or even top flight but either way fair play for getting in at the deep end in League 2.
