Ok guys I'm putting this rumour to bed as it's starting to annoy me. morelos is under contract. if Porto even want to talk to Morelos regarding a switch then they need gers approval before hand. fact. if Porto offered gers 10 million then gers would have refused to even talk to Morelos. so for these clickbait sites saying that he's agreed term already with gers still to agree a fee then rubbish. if gers see Porto's bid around what there looking for then yes they may let them talk to agree personal terms but the reports that Porto offered 10 where gers are wanting 20 are way off the mark. truth be told we may never know the fee but I do know Morelos old club holds a 10% sell on which gers will need to pay. if morelos has been let to speak to Porto then least we know it's around what gers have asked for. its that simple to understand.

Morelos is away with Colombia at Copa America, his agent has spoken with Porto and as I pointed out last week that is the loophole in negotiations; players can't discuss a move before being given approval by the selling club but agents can, it's the way of the football world these days. Hopefully that will make it "simple to understand" for you Davie!

Don’t seriously think they never met or spoke regarding a possible transfer mate? Course they did. Apparently they’ve offered him €2.5m a year on a 4 year contract and he’s accepted it. All that leaves is a fee to be agreed. They’ve came in low at €11m rising to €15m with add ins and have hunted them. We want €15m plus add ons. It’s all pretty accurate wherever u read or listen and even all the rangers pages are posting it. They can’t all be wrong mate.
Morelos will be off and his likely destination is Porto. Who have a strong record of big transfers to elite clubs, and that’s what Morelos will be looking at here.

A miracle would be the best chance of anything near £20mil IGWT. I think we were very arrogant as a club to expect more money. Quite embarrassing if we have to go about the leagues trying to flog him, let's face it, most on here actually believed that europe's powerhouses would be queuing up for him or he could play top six epl. Lille last year and porto this year both bidding nowhere near the laughable £20mil. Its a harsh reality check for some. I hope we don't make the same mistake as last year and play hard ball otherwise we will be left without the cash and no doubt his toys would be back out the pram and he'll be in another huff same as he was last year after his dream move to lille🙄 never happened. 👍.

His 'dream move' to Lille? Oh aye, right. For more than a year now I've been saying (from an almost impeccable source) is that we value Morelos at £18.75m, a fee which, when all fees and other payments (his former club, agents, lawyers etc) were factored out, was set to leave us with £14m and as far as I am aware we have never deviated from this - and Morelos knows and has acccepted this.

They must have some kind of approval from Rangers or it would be classed as tapping up the player. Makes no difference whatsoever if he has agreed personal terms or not as he will remain a Rangers player until our valuation is met. It is the same for any player we own. They all have their price and everyone of then are replaceable.

Banxger normally I would say goldson only had 12mo tha to go on his deal so perhaps 6-7m isn’t too bad, never 5.
However ajer also has 12 months left on his deal so quite right in asking why is Conor worth less when he’s a better player and played more games last season so fitness etc not an issue. Also he won’t play for England so don’t have to worry about losing him for international games. I’d love to know how Celtic’s players are worth more than ours.

dd, the point is, nobody can stop an agent talking to a club and negotiating a deal. After that, it is up to the buying club to make an offer to the player's club and if it is refused, the player stays where he is. If the offer is accepted, then the player knows where he is going and what his wages will be. That's the way it is, as the buying club technically has NOT agreed terms with a player, an agent has had a conversation.

Windows not even open yet 😂 and Morelos is worth as much as someone is willing to pay and as little as we’re willing to accept personally I wouldn’t take less that £16m we need need need! to qualify for the champions league then it’s on him champions league football or relegation battle in the EPL 🤷🏽‍♂️.
