Alegria on the way apparently. Will he be in the B team u think?

Just came on to post this, I read it on the sun online, they’re quoting the record.
I think the likelihood is he will play with the b team as I don’t see him making a mark straight away. From what I’ve seen of him though he won’t be playing with them for long he looks a class act. Really all round striker. All types of goals both feet head, really looks like could be something else.

Good signing. Like the boy McCann probably too good for the B team but too many in front of him in the squad. Will give him regular game time and time to acclimatise to a new country and hopefully he’ll be ready next season to take over from Alfie if he leaves and JD when he retires.

I don't know much about Alegria at all but our scouting and management teams obviously rate him very highly to have waited this long to get him. that's good enough for me. I wonder what the new work permit rules are though. If he is indeed going to be part of the B team I'm not sure how that works with permits. I know it has all changed recently but in the past certain criteria had to be met ie international appearances or classed as an outstanding talent who then plays in a certain percentage of full competitive matches. If anyone knows I d be interested to find outðŸ‘.

Moc the rules have been very much complicated by Brexit.
However IMO he is not signing for Rangers B but is signing for Rangers and which team we play him in is up to us.
He won’t be in b team long.

If he goes to the B team it will be purely to get his fitness up to standards for the first team. Wont be able to sign south Americans for our B team due to work permits and common sense.

. the video of him scoring 5 for Columbia under 17 says it all about this lads style.
I can’t wait till our coaches get hold off him along with our sports scientists.

I'm not 100% sure but I think work permit rules differ at that level he wouldn't qualify for a work permit right away so wouldn't be able to register for the first team however he would be free to play for the b team.

This lad is the real deal and IMO there is nothing like him at the club currently. This boy has so much potential and already possesses a wealth in talent.
I had been told some time ago this might be dead because of the 20% issue. Brilliant news!

John, it’s also my first thought when watching the same game u mention that he is a “ronaldo†type player. Very reminiscent of the brazilian Ronaldo. I seriously think alegria could go on to be world class.
