Rumors Porto looking to get Alfie on cheap I really hope our board don't undersell any if our players even a mid table Belgian club are getting 7m for there striker and that's based on his domestic firm Alfie has done it in Europe and internationally so I'd hope very least we'd want is 15m.

Morelos is the one player that we must keep. We will not win the league if Itten is leading the attack! Like most of Wilson's signings he is no where near the quality we need! We should be looking to move Itten on and if we are to sell then it has to be where we can make a sizeable profit and have a player earmarked to replace them. What is more, as Gerrard has said, any player brought in needs to be an improvement to what we have. Of the team that won the league last year, nine of those players were signed bMark Allen. Wilson has made very few signings for the Club and of those only Hagi and Roofe could be considered top signings. We haven't seen McLaughlin under pressure, Bassey is one for the future, the jury is out on blowgun and Itten, Zungu and Kamberi wouldn't make a quality football player between them.

If we do see Morelos (which I hope we don’t) then we need to sign a stricter who has a chance of scoring 30 goals this season. Honestly, I’d seriously look at Čolak who has a 1 in 2 record with some smaller clubs. He’s also only on loan at Malmö where he has better record in 1 goal ever 2 games. He’s 6.2 and mobile (left Helander for dead a few times in the first leg) . His last transfer was €3m and he’s been loaned out. I suspect PAOK would be looking for a similar fee.

B Blue I could see your point if wilson had a huge budget. But on the whole transfers in have been pretty good. We got Balagun for nothing kamara for next to nothing aribo for a development fee Davis for nothing sakala for nothing defoe for nothing Wright for 180K. I think 3 games lost and you re pushing that big red panic button in your head. The winning had to stop at some point. Where I think Wilson needs to take a bit of blame is players going out and their price bit then it's only as good as what other teams will pay.

Itten, Roofe or Defoe would never have bullied that defence the way Buff did.
IF we continue to play with 1 up front we need a solid CF, who can bully defenders, win the ball and hold up till support arrives. Nobody in our squad does that apart from zbuff.

We have bn p. poor the last 4 games and have been no patch on the team we were last season with the slick and fast approach to our attack. The fact is we have been clueless going forward and the defence has went backwards.

Imteresting to find out colak is on loan from PAOK, does that mean we couldn’t buy him until January if we wanted him though? He reminded me of big jelavic the way he holds the ball and turns big strong technically good. I’d look more into him if I was Ross Wilson and the gaffer.
I’m reading it’s €16m Porto will offer and I think if they offer that with add ons we will likely sell.

IF and only IF the board decide they have recieved an offer too good to turn down for Morleos I would be stright on the phone to FC Young Boys for big Nsame. Maybe doesn't fit out recent model at 28 but we know all about him is a big strong boy with pace and aerial threat and ha's a record of 2 goals per 3 games roughly for his club and has European experience.

55 Rangers, Kamara, Aribo and Davis were not Wilson signings as far as I am aware, they were signed by Wilson's predecessor as were the vast majority of the players that won us the league last year. Wilson has made very few signings and so far the only ones that have proved themselves to be of any quality are Hagi and Roofe and they were not particularly cheap transfers. The jury is out on Balougun, Itten is not good enough, McLaughlin hasn't been in goal against a decent team so difficult to say, Lundstrum looks to be a waste of an rather excessive wage and Wright is nothing more than a good squad player. The others signed, like Zungu were downright hopeless. Like Gerrard, the majority of our players came in during the time that Allen was the DoF!

Certainly if Alfie goes we need a replacement l, I know the young boy Brewster isn’t in sheff plans as far as last season goes. Perhaps a loan fee for him I wouldn’t mind that.

To blame Ross Wilson is over the top of the signings made only Itten would I say hasn't worked out. lunstrim and Sakala is way to early and not long ago both were though on here great additions but after a loss we need to blame some1 and Wilson is latest in firing line.

I think for the 1st time since SG arrived our signings have been underwhelming.

You have to strengthen every season and some times it has to be a player better than what we have in our 1st 11.

I've laughed at celtic doing this for years, and we look to have followed suit.

I agree that I would hate to lose Alfredo but if the boy is heart set on a move then you can't blame him.
Also can't believe the talk on here about Itten, the lad hasn't done wrong and hasn't had any run in the team. As usual our fans are quick to judge same as most did with Barasic.
Why don't we just trust the gaffer and team.
Give them FULL backing it none at all.

It’s unbelievable on here, sell Alfie…buy Nisbit …… Our signings have been poor under SG really Mois73? What about Kent, Barisic, Kamarra…. if I recall 2 weeks ago they were all valued on here as being anything from 10 to 20 mill.
Also Roofe been outstanding in terms of goal return, Defoe the same …. Helander a solid centre back …… get a grip people no need to sell and no need to turn against the players and manager, that’s for that mob across the city to do…. we will come good …. 🇬🇧55 to be 56 soon.

If we have to lose one of them then, unless we are offered silly money it has to be Kamara for me. We will never be able to replace Morelos and Kent on his game is unstoppable. In reality we should not be selling any of our top players in a depressed market.

A lot of talk at Brentford last night that both teams want Kamara and looking at Arsenal they desperately need someone. Their biggest problem seems to b a lack of Leadership on the Park! Where have I heard that one before!
