About 5 times in the flesh as I work in England and go occasionally to games with my best mate who's a season ticket holder. At best a poor Lewis Ferguson who imo also isn't good enough and I've seen him plenty 😉👌.

Rothwell is a good player and I'd be happy to see him at Ibrox. He refused a new contract with Man U some years ago and chose to go down the leagues to establish his career, after playing for England at every age group. Great close control and can ping a pass.

I'm the same John, haven't seen much of Rothwell but what I have seen doesn't inspire me. Poor man's Lewis Ferguson comes to mind and that just doesn't bear thinking about.

Been told by a friend who was a manager in the English championship that rothwell is an excellent player, and he will be surprised if rangers get him, he is a dribbler and would be a great signing for rangers.

I haven't seen much of him but I think he will definitely strengthen the squad. The Championship is a high standard - very tough and competitive and if he joins on a free (or small sum in January), then it is relatively low risk.

Very few of the current squad have come from big teams and been household names. our financial situation dictates the buys and investments we make. Personally I think Wilson and his network are doing a grand job.

Dont know enough about rothwell to comment but as I've said before, I believe Doekhi is a next level player. still young and captain of Vitesse. came through the ajax academy.

Spoken to a couple Blackburn supporters re Rothwell. In his day brilliant player close control great dribbling can unlock defences, unfortunately doesn't show it on a consistent basis however with the right coaches around him they believe he can be a gem. So low risk for me despite perhaps not needing to fill that position, although I haven't been too impressed by Bacuna as of yet but there's still time.
