Just saw online that were linked with matej vydra. Possibly pre contract agreement. Haven’t seen him play recently but a few years ago he looked like a very decent player.

Decent player but doesn't really get much game time at Burnley. He'll be 30 years old by the summer so no resale value so he needs to be a player that makes a big impact. I'm not sure he's going to do that. I'm on the fence with this one.

Realistically MOCBear. If he was getting a lot of game time at a premier league team. We wouldn't be interested as would be out of our price range. Personally i think he’d be brilliant.

Fair enough irvblue99. Like I say, I'm not sure. He's hardly played in almost 3 years apart from minutes off the bench or when someone is injured. In the last 3 full seasons plus this season so far he's scored 10 goals in all competitions at club level. Like I say most of his playing time is when coming off the bench so it's difficult to judge the lack of goals.

You are right mate. No one would really know. A few players from the top english league have came and struggled.

He’s a decent player on his day, with an eye for goal and a trick or two… if Davis and arfield go at the end of the season he would be a good asset to our midfield.

Vydra is exactly the type of striker we need. The sort of player that we should be looking to sign to help us secure the title this season.
