I like NM always talks well on Rangers TV, has good knowledge of the SPL, players and current Rangers team. No idea if he is a good coach though anybody got some info on that.

I certainly won't be unhappy if he gets the job as he's got a very good knowledge of the Scottish game. He would be a good addition in my opinion.

Actually would not want Kevin Thomson at this stage he is doing amazing with Kelty hearts and there is a good chance he will get them promotion I see kevin Thompson as a future rangers manager and imo is better off managing other teams to get experience than being part of the background staff at rangers at this point in time.

KT way short of working for Rangers yet, if he really is rated as highly as some on here think, he would be working at a higher level imo.
NM, a risk, maybe, not a lot of management experience but very knowledgeable of the Scottish game.

I don't think gio is any less knowledgeable than Neil McCann in the Scottish game. granted he has been out of it for a while but he's a top coach who has played in the league with us. gio knows what it takes to represent our family.

Bar. you've missed the obvious. Highly talented coach who knows Rangers inside out. KT is anything but way short. Your statement is also a wee touch contradictory. NM is currently a pundit. Albeit a very good one. Probably a reason he hasn't managed anyone recently.

You know, I would prefer people in senior positions whose knowledge is at least a level or two above the 'Scottish' game and whose coaching skills transcend borders. I can't really fathom preferring 'Scottish' to preferring the best we can get.
