SG has left us in a fantastic position and I’m not even considering last years historic season. We are 4 points clear at top of league, semi of a cup, a win at ibrox away from progressing in Europe. Player trading is a gamble and one he decided not to take, that was maybe naive, squads need freshened up and esp the first 11, he chose to keep what he had and it maybe backfired, however, rebuilding morale and confidence is free and can be done on the training pitch. Freshening up shape, tactics both offensively and defensively can also be done on the training pitch. A few wee tweaks of shape and starting personal with fresh ideas will improve morale and confidence.

I have to disagree Scotty. The team showed on Sunday that something is badly wrong and although we might not like what he said it is quite evident that Goldson was correct, unfortunately he is part of the problem as is having a captain that is totally incapable of leadership!
The players signed this summer have been totally underwhelming and last time I checked Gerrard signed them!

Stats don’t ALWAYS tell the full picture mate I’m convinced there’s big problems in that team
I said start of season this is a team in decline and I could see worrying signs, my usual following went ballistic, but I still saw it.

and Tom as much as I get your point can u seriously compare us to Fergie’s Man Utd and their achievements when we have won 1 trophy in 10 years?

Scotty we are in a better position but he hasn’t left us in a great place whatsoever and to mention and don’t even mention deluded or lack of knowledge as that’s what you are saying it by mentioning it 😂 we are not in a good place Goldson interview is evidence of that.

We are looking at players we can sell. maybe not for as much as we may have thought but we still have some sellable assets to reinvest in team, so yes SG left us in better state than when he arrived. How can Goldston be picked now if he thinks we were not going to win at half time what a defetest attitude. better to play someone who at least has correct attitude. if GvB is keeping Tav as captain means he going to play him. so Patterson will be of in January who can blame him.

Scotty were in a far better position we habe players of value on the pitch. If we still have players like holt, windass, halliday etc then your sitting in 3rd place. Weve qualified for last 3 seasons group stages this also would never have happened with that group.

I’m neither deluded nor no nothing about football. This place is about opinions and SG has left our club in a great place as I said above ( in my opinion ) and I’d happily put my trophy’s as a player, a coach and scout on line to go against that. Before winning the league last year where were we? Yet now we are a club not in a good place sitting 4 points clear at top of league etc etc.

I think my feelings are that Gerard gets all the credit. and the board and RW get none, Stevie wasted a lot of money too, I just think another manager could easily have won more given the same funding and support.

Stevie G wasn’t the only person involved the last few years Scotty so that’s wrong we are in a better place than he started but he hasn’t left us in a good place it’s clearly evident.

Let's get this right. morelos Kent kamara barisic hagi all want out. Greggs and Davis nearing end goldston and barisic don't talk and we've signed Sakala lundstrum. If any1 thinks SG left us in a good position plus money he spent and wage bill apparently GVB has been asked to reduce obviously has no idea about football.
