Few lads in our supporters club are out with Derek Ferguson today. He has told them that Miovski isn’t going to join up with his son Lewis at Bologna. He also said that Rangers are very interested in Miovski and expects us to make a move very soon. 6 million with a 20% sell on and he’s ours ?.

Correct My Star once we see who is moved out we will be able to judge better. I think big Phil is losing patience as transfers out have been very slow in progressing this season.
I am certainly not making any excuses for the board, but every manager gets lied to re money. Beale spent a lot of money, but raised a lot through sales.
Clement has spent about £8m so far, I think wisely. Dio is an upgrade on Lundstram, Barron better than never available Jack, Jefte better than rubbishbag Borna and we'll get more out of Igimane than Roofe could give us last season. Give us a steady, physical left sided central defender, an experienced midfielder and Miovski and we'll do a lot better if we avoid injuries ?.

We should be selling, Hagi, Lammers, Dessers, Lawrence, Wright, Davies, Dowell and Matondo all of whom pick up money for doing next to nothing for the club. Maybe we will get decent offers for Tav and Goldson especially who looks done to me. That should be to add to an existing transfer budget, if the manager is saying we don`t have any kind of transfer budget then questions need to be asked . The main one for me is why are we wasting money on this unnecessary building work on the Copland if money is tight?

I recall a football finance podcast that looked at clubs accounts and mapped out what the expected expenditure for each would be under the revised finance regulations.
Think they estimated that we would have c£6m to spend based on our estimated turnover and wages - which is about what we've spent.
So it's no surprise that we are now at the point where further purchases are dependent on player sales.

In regards to leaving for a better offer I think he wanted the Liverpool job more than anything. If we had backed him and got into the CL I think he would have stayed till at least the end of the season and got more trophies to his name. But he knew when he left that ange team was motoring and we didn’t bsck him so was easy for him to move on. If we had backed him I think it would have been a harder decision for him personally.

Yes, worrying times, I like a few on here think PC has been sold the vision, but in reality is fighting with his hands tied behind his back.
1. seem to be struggling badly to sell serial losers, a lot of whom already know they are on the chopping block since March.
2. seem to have no real money to attract 1st team starters, of all the names mentioned on here the last few months, we seem to be going 2nd or 3rd choice.
3. not long till first game and at least 3 months before first game at Ibrox.
We NEED something to change the mood music very very quickly in my opinion.

Re players sales - well will massively struggle to sell these players that we need rid of (Lammers, Tavs, Goldson, Hagi, Wright, Lammers, Davies, Matondo, Lawerence etc) due to the wages were paying these players - CL qualifier 3 weeks tomorrow and i am bloody dreading it with what team we'll be able to field coupled with this whole stadium fiasco - Absolute mess of a situation and season no even started.
