Goldson departure will be posted by the media team next 24h. €1m to Aris. Anyone else picking up that we will still pay part of his wage for the next 2 seasons?

That's terrible. For that price you would expect him gone and completely off the wage bill.

If they are paying a fee for him, we aren’t going to be paying wages. Most likely we aren’t getting a fee and we are paying part of his wages to let him leave.

Club that signed him will be paying his wages, we're lowering our wage budget but paying our the highest earner for the next two years when not a the club, sorry but that is not happening, sounds like something a tim would make up.

the football world is a weird and not so wonderful place nowadays, god knows what's been concocted, nothing woukd surprise me because every deal is so convuluted and seems strange to the unknowing eye, we may never know what the truth is, i fear that is likely to be the case.

Player usually gets cut of transfer fee to help with wage drop , never heard of a continual wage to a player who is owned by another club, is that even allowed under rules?

Clutching at straws here. But on football manager one of the additional clauses is a selling team wage contribution, so that suggests it does happen in transfers. Hopefully not in this case.

My stay / storm just because you don’t want it to be true, doesn’t mean it comes from a Tim. Clubs contributing to a players wage is common and can help move the player on.
