Not my usual source but rangers are seriously considering a loa with obligation to buy Yilmas
Offer is galatasary and we would make a profit.

Great if true but he's been good for us n who would do the job of filling in.
2.) 19 Aug 2024
19 Aug 2024 14:22:04
Like the wee man but if he is never fit a profit/ sell on if possible to include might be in our best interests short term.
3.) 19 Aug 2024
19 Aug 2024 14:26:59
Take it! Sorry, too injury prone to be a success with us. Also, with the exception of a couple of games, he's been pretty average for us.
4.) 19 Aug 2024
19 Aug 2024 14:29:19
So get the Croatian lad in for the season and buy him at the end of it and send Yilmaz out on loan and sell him at the end of it ? if Bradaric can stay fit he will automatically be better than Yilmaz so I say go for it.
5.) 19 Aug 2024
19 Aug 2024 14:36:36
John we know I like Yilmaz but good offer am taking it every day, picking up to many injuries, mostly different types though and still reckon he'll be a top lb in a few years.
6.) 19 Aug 2024
19 Aug 2024 14:37:47
How difficult would it be when out with injury, hopefully a straight forward one or the obligation might be a hard task, always thought Yilmaz might be one that left, like the lad but injuries are hindering him and the team in progression.
7.) 19 Aug 2024
19 Aug 2024 14:38:35
I’d take it as he’s a good player but never fit enough to have an impact on the team so making a profit is good on him. then offer the same loan to buy deal to the Croatian LB and also bring in Brandon Williams on a free and push jefte in the LW slot.
8.) 19 Aug 2024
19 Aug 2024 14:39:26
A massive issue with that is that he's not going to pass any medical.
9.) 19 Aug 2024
19 Aug 2024 14:42:05
Creation boy will cost 4.5m so we need to be careful.
10.) 19 Aug 2024
19 Aug 2024 14:46:36
So John, would you sell him or keep him. Personally i'd sell him.
11.) 19 Aug 2024
19 Aug 2024 14:49:48
Fraser, not hats to pass a medical, with a muscle issue
One Walter ever the negative, obligation have clause as well u know, not even close to 4.5 million.
12.) 19 Aug 2024
19 Aug 2024 14:53:23
Move him on replace with midfielders and play 352.
13.) 19 Aug 2024
19 Aug 2024 14:57:47
Sell, sell, sell!
Tidy wee player but far too injury prone.
Cash in whilst the going is good.
14.) 19 Aug 2024
19 Aug 2024 15:13:27
Baxter, there is a very good footballer in yilmaz, but his injury history is a concern
I’d want a nice sell on clause in any deal.
15.) 19 Aug 2024
19 Aug 2024 15:36:07
Sell him, and don't spend stupid money aka michael ball, buy a striker new 10 or midfielder.
16.) 19 Aug 2024
19 Aug 2024 15:37:31
I'm wary of moving on players we don't 'need' to given how much turnover we've had already (with more to come) . I also like him as a pplayer. The only thing that makes me think this might be a good idea are his regular niggling injuries. So if we can make clean profit on him, and can get in a replacement of sufficient quality to be a frist 11 pick, then I'd go for it.
17.) 19 Aug 2024
19 Aug 2024 15:41:29
If we can make any profit on ridvan then get it done.
The lad in his time here has probably started less than a quarter of games.
Good player but no use if he's out all the time.
18.) 19 Aug 2024
19 Aug 2024 15:47:04
John, that’s positive news.
Like many I think there’s a player in Yilmaz, but he is too injury prone to rely on. If it also means we can add another player I am all for it.
19.) 19 Aug 2024
19 Aug 2024 15:47:13
I like ridvan but we can’t get a large run of games from him, if money can be recouped then I wouldn’t be against it.
20.) 19 Aug 2024
19 Aug 2024 15:57:02
I like yilmaz but feel you would have to take it if all funds made go to manager for squad and yilmaz injuries will just get worse as he ages
My only worry is I think board would give him a small fraction of yilmaz fee.
21.) 19 Aug 2024
19 Aug 2024 16:14:20
You would wish that a player who's into his 3rd season would be kicking on by now but it simply hasn't happened. If it's a decent return with an obligation then you would take it all day long.
22.) 19 Aug 2024
19 Aug 2024 16:17:01
Ridvan was unlucky against Kiev. If he hadn't have went for that shot we'd be saying he bottled it. But if we can make a profit then it might be good business.
23.) 19 Aug 2024
19 Aug 2024 16:32:07
I tend to agree with the posters saying sell Yilmaz. He seems far too injury prone. Players constantly in and out of the team through injury isn't the answer.
24.) 19 Aug 2024
19 Aug 2024 16:33:36
Decent wee player when fit but as everyone has said he is often injured.
Also his crossing and passing has been terrible so hard this season.
I'd give Fraser a good run in the 1st team and play Jefte wide left.
Stirling can cover LB (again if fit) .
25.) 19 Aug 2024
19 Aug 2024 16:50:29
Go for Beck before Glasgow Hamas fc get him.
26.) 19 Aug 2024
19 Aug 2024 16:51:38
No loan. Sell only. I like him too but too injury prone and lightweight.
27.) 19 Aug 2024
19 Aug 2024 17:06:44
I don't think he is robust enough for our league. To get money back or make a profit would be good business.
28.) 19 Aug 2024
19 Aug 2024 17:34:40
Fraser - a medical is not really what you think these days, it’s more of a risk assessment and review of their file. I’d be more worried about the size of his injury history list rather than this muscle injury in not passing a medical.
29.) 19 Aug 2024
19 Aug 2024 17:36:49
We do business. I think we can get a more robust player who could contribute more for less.
30.) 19 Aug 2024
19 Aug 2024 17:45:04
I would sell too injury prone.
31.) 19 Aug 2024
19 Aug 2024 17:56:45
Yilmaz a good player but he’s not able to stay fit for 10+ games so he’s no use to us. Hopefully the guy is bang on John and the Croatian left back rumours are true. We need about 5 out and 5 in with the last days of the window. Don’t think we will get close but it’s what’s needed.
32.) 19 Aug 2024
19 Aug 2024 18:07:53
Yilmaz positional sense can be poor. Ball watches a bit and gives the ball away too much. Wingers get behind him too easily. Sell.
33.) 19 Aug 2024
19 Aug 2024 18:14:19
As a player he is one of the few I would want to keep but his repeated muscle problems, previously hamstring and now thigh is making him a liability . If we could get a profit on him I would sell, maybe in a warmer climate he would be okay.
34.) 19 Aug 2024
19 Aug 2024 19:02:42
John 1 of the red tops had salernitana wanting an obligation at 4.5m euros for the left back.
35.) 19 Aug 2024
19 Aug 2024 19:18:46
One Walter must be true then.
36.) 19 Aug 2024
19 Aug 2024 20:16:14
Was Yilmaz injured as much back in Turkish football. Our overall injury history is horrendous. Jack, Asking, Sima, Yilmaz, Goldson, Sterling, Danilo and Cortes it just goes on and on and on. They all can't be injury prone, what the f#ck is going on at our club?
37.) 19 Aug 2024
19 Aug 2024 22:50:56
Looks like we all agree on this one.
38.) 20 Aug 2024
20 Aug 2024 07:21:36
RFC that has to be a first on here
I think most recognised a good player but mb needs to be elsewhere.
39.) 20 Aug 2024
20 Aug 2024 12:52:48
Re injuries at the club it is a bit of a worry but somet of the guys that were listed ain`t the issue. Sima injured himself away on international duty, Goldson was injury free for 4 years, never missed a game until the bad one against Liverpool, which Beale rushed him back from, picking up another muscle strain which again Beale rushed him back without a pre season game. Danilo took two impact injuries playing games, Cortes done his on that plastic pitch and has now twisted his knee. Yilmaz is a worry with all the muscle injuries as is Sterling who seems to suffer from lots of minor muscle injuries, maybe because he`s not used to playing regularly. I would add Wright, Matondo, Davies and Dowell to that list as they seem to get injured not playing and of course we have got rid of Jack, Roofe and Barisic three sicknotes.

Agree John just not up to rough n tumble Scottish football and a bit unlucky too sell him and recruit Scottish for me or proven spl.
