This is not a kneejerk reaction to the result/ performance today but surely we have spent too much money in getting rid of our previous 2 managers, I just can't get my head around giving Clement an extended contract, if this doesn't work out, we'll need to spend more money on getting rid of another manager.
Playing Davies ahead of Balogun is madness. I haven't been convinced by Clement at all since he's came in, he talks some nonsense at times and like others have said, the style of play is lost on me.

I think we should wait and see, not good, not bad let's see after 4/ 5 games. Some complain about our defense I've alwys said its the sharp end where we fail, to get 3 points we need to score, again we kept a clean sheet today but failed to score, can't blame Tav for that. Scoring goals is the most important and most difficult part of the game, I've said countless times our defense is not the problem, Celtic won many leagues with bang average defenders hworever they have razor sharp attackers that play to the 97 min to get 3 points and 3 points is all that matters. Toaday showed we dotn have enough ammunition when it counts. Disjointed, no leadership, no game plan, reactive, no creativivity, lost most duels.

Mate we’re not even close to judging him on a PC team, the best we’ll see is a shoe strung PC team in this window. We need to realise it’s not the prem, we can’t afford to not honour these contracts as we don’t operate like some big teams like Bayern who look for coaches to fit their model, we allow managers to dictate that and changing them is very expensive.

I’m backing PC and glad he is on a long term contract - Davies wasn’t too bad - wright anonymous and matondo the same - baron looked good - Dessers could have hit 3 - team is only going to get stronger - no doubt we are all in with PC and if it doesn’t work it won’t be good at all but I’ve a good feeling the big man will get it right ??????.

The most sensible thing to do was to get PC signed up, we knew how much of a rebuild is required, the board knows and he knows. Last thing we want is PC walking or being sacked during the transition. We need stability and PC gives us this.

Thts bull Miller only barron in 11 yesterday was new. Imm with crcp I'm lost on clement dnt like the style some of wat he spouts is ridiculous I'd never of gave hi extension already. A new team? There was 1 new player in that starting 11. It's the same old same old again. The fact we started davies who couldn't get a game for long periods last season and wright who was a bench filler last season. Dessers again missing big big chances and we are chasing a goal a don't bring on danilo is baffling.

I'll start by saying i'm prepared to give philippe clement time to rebuild us and i'm backing him for now ?On our board giving him a contract extension, surely they must have placed something within his new contract guarding against the chance it doesn't work out and a timescale/ agreed compo amount to pay him if it doesn't work out as anything else would be naive by our board ?.

I don’t understand the reaction it’s playing right into the hands of those that want to keep us in turmoil. Neil McCan sounded like so many other ex rangers that get the microphone seemingly unable to give us any credit for good things that happen but very quick to pick up on the negatives . As a support we need to realise changing a bad squad of players is not going to happen in one window .
The manager had to play many of the players that let us down in previous seasons, it’s going to be a tough month and I hope the fans can accept this.

Must admit I thought it was a surprise that he had been offered a four year deal at this point, if he only signed a short term contract initially then it makes sense for the board to extend.
