Why was PC given contract extension, what has he achieved to merit it, is it just over reaction from board to all talk on him maybe walking away. we all said wait till he's had time to get his own team, we sign 8 players and one starts, we have a captain who appears to have thrown in the Towel and replacement who struggles to stay fit, not a lot of forward planning there, have no creative mid field players, Wright and Motondo who should be nowhere near team, relying on Dessers up front, appear to have no set style. you would have thought we would at least have that, going to be very frustrating season.

If he sticks with tav the new deal will mean nothing as he will lose the job.

I watched the game again this morning and Dessers was unlucky with that header that hit the Hearts player and both goalkeepers played well.
We need to stop short term managerial appointments and the Board needs to buy in with PC's strategy. They also need to back him much better than they have done up til now.
Watching the game second time round I don't believe that we are that far away from a decent quality team but we need some seasoned campaigners in important positions, players that have a good quality pedigree.
There is also still a need to get rid of a number of players that will be difficult to move on but hopefully we see some of them go in the next couple of weeks, (either generating funds, or in the case of Wright, paying him off if needs be) .
I would suggest that we need another centre back, a quality number 6, a winger, (I am concerned that Cortes will spend more time on the treatment table than on the park), and a striker, perhaps an older head, since I don't see Danilo being 100% match fit any time soon.

I think it is going to be frustrating gers. Someone put an excellent post up yesterday, talking about when ange first arrived at celtic and how we were all laughing at there players trying execute his playing style, which BTW was very evident from the first game they played, then he got hi own players in and it worked. I don't see what pc philosophy is, is he waiting to get his own players in before trying to implement it? He must be as I see absolutely no style of play and don't believe I'm the only one. I get there will be lots of players coming and going but you have to set your standards and style from the minutes you walk in the building, so every single player from b team to first is pushing in the one direction. Why hasn't this happened? Would at least be something we could get behind.

Laudrup we cannot afford to sack him now as a new mananager will need money and PC would need to be paid off. We need to give him time to build something it might not be fun watching but that's the way it'll be.

Does PC judge that we will win the league with Tav playing regularly?

Does Tav truly believe he will lead Rangers to a title win this season?

Because I don't, barring a collapse at Celtic (always a possibility) .

a draw at tynecastle on day one is never a bad result imo, very tough place to open, its out of the way, probably toughest test outside of celtic, it was nothing like the dusaster some think, we need a few more incoming, a couple out, and we will improve,

Teddy tavs time is up but we ain’t losing the league because one player let’s be honest we have already lost about 10 player and not replaced them.
