Good to see big Sima getting a couple more CL goals tonight, it's only a year since after a slow start he was nowhere near good enough. Patience pays off sometimes.

I can remember coldo telling us he'd never cut it and rated Palma far higher than him, clearly can't tell the difference from good to poor.

agree and that after his injury he was just another injury prone player who we shouldn't buy.
Oddly though he hasn't scored in Ligue 1 after 5 games. ECL obviously suits him and his style; more room to run into perhaps?

I watched the highlights of the Salzburg v Brest game and Salzburg were all over them and couldn't score. Amazing that it finished 4-0 to Brest.

Sima took his two goals well and should have had another. The big man wanted to play in the CL, good to see him doing well in it. 3 goals in 2 games so far.

wsl I watched some of 1st half and agree, they even had a goal chopped off. I think Brest played on the counter and that really suits Sima and his pace. He hasn't scored in 5 in Ligue 1 and can't understand that unless it is style of play of opposition.

Sima didn’t want to play for us, but spouted the usual patronising patter. Nothing against the guy, but not in the slightest bit interested in what he does playing for a real diddy team. The name says it all.

Totally disagree, I think he may have come back to us if we qualified for the CL but we didn`t and he had a chance to go and play in it so he took it.
Don`t know what his contract situation is with Brighton but he may not stay with Brest and we may not have seen the last of him in a Rangers jersey. He`s still quite young.

wsl think Brighton had the option to extend for a year and imagine they would have done that or will do it. if they didn't then he would go for nothing at end of season so I think that Brighton would have sold him otherwise to make cash after he impressed with us and in Europe.
