Getting back onto the subject of an experienced no.6 type midfielder we absolutely need to sign in january i honestly would bring in jordan henderson on the short term and because of his undoubted experience which of course will help enormously the likes of connor barron, nico raskin, diomande etc ? I don't know if it's feasible to sign henderson wages wise but if it's doable, i would most certainly not turn my nose up at bringing in a midfielder with his experience ?.

Our attacking 3 should be top priority. We need to score goals.
I feel we need a decent RW, Cerny looks slow and predictable. We also need a LW, Cortes has potential, however he has been injured more than he has played. Then we have Dessers, he seems a nice guy, gives 100% and works his socks off, however not a natural goal scorer. Misses way too many chances.
Maybe try him as a no 10 and keep Bajrami as LW, but we need a decent goal scorer.

With you on this one sws- you can't buy experience . he would stand out in Europe if we are still there after January.

Not for me SWS, can't afford him and it's not doable, we're reducing the wage bill bud, he's 34 also.

Weve been down this road b4, with past it pros, looking to enhance their pension,
We must do better.

Henderson is never signing! Would anyone really want him? Unfortunately, you can bring in who you want, Coops, but I fear no player is going to help Diomonde.

Deecee will still be in Europe in jan as we still play europa games in the new system.

Henderson is a straight no from me.

Henderson is done. If you think Tav has lost a yard then Henderson has lost two.

We couldn't pay the wages he'd be looking. We need to reduce the wage bill.

God help us if our standard is Henderson,

Henderson more MSM talk ? we play Dio n Connor Connor drops into the back 3 Dio is away somewhere onistly canny remember us ever having CDM that pass too each other going years back, nothing has changed Fae Gerrard canny remember dominating a midfield pining a team back, rubbish show people say need a new Alfie a want better than Alfie need move goals from everywhere just think there's not enough class roll on next few transfer windows we'll get there benjain looks class.

Absolutely not, he is done. He'd offer us the same experience we got from Ramsey, we can't afford him and there are better, younger, fitter, faster players out there.

we are having a discussion on a player we probably aren't interested in because a bookie decided to run prices as he isn't getting game time at Ajax. Sunderland favourites and even Celtic quoted at 6-1.

so don't think he will come. high wages can be got around remember Jordan from Seville was quoted as being on very high wages but we were looking to loan him. However if it were true a no from me.

I liked the No 6 for Finland tonight, some guy called Kamara.

The six is probably the priority position - unfortunately our targets weren't willing to come, so hopefully something we can address in January.

Henderson would be a no for me though.

We'll just will need to wait until January, not a long time away.

Henderson goes against everything we have been trying to do this summer, ie lower wage bill and squad age. plus his legs are gone. Some see a big name and forget where we came from and where we are trying to go, but by all means sws let's go backwards again. Silly signing with no legs to it at all.

If we want a number 6 with experience that's not going to cost a fortune on wages and can still offer something as a stop gap for a year, I'd much rather look at Christoph Kramer or Francis Coquelin, admittedly don't know how many games either played last season or what their recent injury history has been, but they would cost a fraction in wages what Jordan Henderson would and there's Bundesliga and German national team experience or Premier League and La Liga experience right there.

Henderson is certainly not the type of transfer in that we need and if we wasted any time trying to get him it would be a serious waste of time. If agents thought Rangers were interested in spending the massive amount needed to pay Henderson’s wages it would give a false impression that we had money to pay bigger wages than we can . This could affect other transfers, and prevent us getting the players at the right money.
