With attendances now less than 20,000. which straw will be the final straw for these fans?
MacLeod being sold to Brentford for £1m?
Board refusing to take the £6.5m from the 3 Bears and resort to sending begging letters on Boxing Day to Ashley, Kennedy, etc?
The woeful performances by the overpaid and over-rated players?
McDowall continuing to pick same team and same style of play that we've watched for 3 long seasons?

Lets face facts until you get rid of the board we will not have a team on the park if we had brought on promising youngsters the board would have sold them to line their pockets . Somers treated the fans with contempt and second class citizens at agm not one cares as long as he gets paid which I doubt if the players have had their dues,i would down tools if my boss was sipping champagne and I had not been paid I think more is happening behind the scenes . we have got to hope we get rid of them even if it means staying in championship for another season

I think everyone can now see that replacing Ally was not the answer, any team he put out would not have lost so heavily to any team let alone Hibs.
He was the heart and soul of Rangers and loved this club, I believe he resigned as a matter of principal over all the redundancies. Any monies he received as well as any monies from shares he was given he deserves and earned.
He has now earned the club £1m as it was him who nurtured macleod and all the other Murray Park kids.

Is that a joke? He nurtured him what planet are you on he wouldn't even play him in his preferred position, what kids from murray park did he nurture. He filled the squad with old men who have no hunger what so ever, he bought nicky Clarke a young man that scored 30 plus goals in division 1 and would prefer to play boyd miller and daily before him. He didn't improve 1 player over the 4years he was in charge, and for all the hassle he received with administration and liquidation and sticking with us he was payed rather handsomely for the aggro

4.) 30 Dec 2014
Clarkston Bud: I agree with you up to a point, getting rid of McCoist only serves a purpose if you have someone capable in line to step in and take over, we don't have that and are probably worse off, ever since we knew he was going we have been even worse.

5.) 30 Dec 2014
Clarkston bud u have had to much clarkston budweiser if u think ally was resposible for lewis macleod

6.) 30 Dec 2014
@2) ". he resigned as a matter of principal over all the redundancies. "

Do you really belive that? If that was the case, would he not have walked away rather than handed in his 12 months notice and have his pay revert back to its original level? Doing that might have saved those jobs, or others which could be on the line in the future.

7.) 30 Dec 2014
Hooly 78 for me the problem he had was he didn't buy Clark he was a free just like all the rest were would have been better if we had bought young players with potential and brought them through but the board didn't want transfer fees no scouting system anyway just older players pay a bit more on wages but no transfer fees as for bringing our own youth through we don't have any the good ones left when we went into liquidation and we haven't brought in any to replace them we offered Telford a contract but he turned it down to sit on united, s bench you need to pull your head out of the sand and look upstairs that's where our problems are until we rid ourselves of these leeches we will not move on begging letters being sent out at four am on boxing day selling probably our only decent young player disgraceful

8.) 30 Dec 2014
Ally handed in his notice he did not resign big difference. In fact £750,000 of a difference. Ally couldn't do the job and neither can McDowall it was ludicrous to give him the job. As for McLeod can't blame him for leaving. maybe he will get some proper coaching and become the player that his potential suggests. Next out the door will be Wallace but after that I can't see many clubs wanting any of our over paid players. Possibly Templeton on loan somewhere but that will be it

9.) 30 Dec 2014
30 Dec 2014 17:28:22
Cooperboy we've never brought are own players through the ranks even when we had money and a different board, telfer didn't sign a contract because he wasn't going to get a game not because of money I'd hazard a guess rangers probably offered more money, and you talk about not paying out on transfer fees Derek mcinnes hasn't spend much on transfer fees and look at the job he has done, mccoist was a very poor manager end off! How many jobs is he ever linked with none! There's a reason for that

10.) 30 Dec 2014
Clarkston bud either your a celtic man or you have been sniffing glue. mccoist was the answer gees peace

11.) 30 Dec 2014
30 Dec 2014 17:43:11
Rangers "owe" Ashley £3M.
He has ordered the sale of our best player.
End of.
We will not finish third.
We will be hoovered in the cup by that mob.
Sad facts.
Lucky to be in Europe within 5 years
That's if we survive.

12.) 30 Dec 2014
Hooly you've missed the point again i'm not standing up for Ally i'm trying to point out the failings of this board I can't even think about a manager because as long as this board is here we won't move on £70 mill we've went through and look at the team we have no money no scouting system selling our one decent young player sending out begging letters and while all this is going on there is two offers of investment not loans which is just our own money being lent back to us secured against assests £9. 25 in every £10 in our kit deal goes to Ashley and people think he is our saviour he's robbing us blind so I have no problem with Ally going I just wish a few of our board members had followed him

13.) 30 Dec 2014
30 Dec 2014 18:56:22
Mccoist backed every money grabber that came in to are club, it wasn't that long go he was welcoming Ashley to the club! He wanted king and Ashley to work together. In my opinion he's as bad as the current board, if he was such a rangers man why didn't he resign without receiving a penny and blow the lid on what's been going on.

14.) 30 Dec 2014
30 Dec 2014 23:55:22
StYAB: Nobody knows the reasons for him resigning, the redundancies may very well have played a part.

15.) 31 Dec 2014
31 Dec 2014 08:45:56
He didn't resign! He is still getting paid there's a difference between resigning and handing in your notice! I've heard all this shit about mccoist leaving because of the redundancies well why did he and his cronies not chip in and pay there wages especially his own secretary! he's no hero!

16.) 31 Dec 2014
Holy 78: Ok he left then, but you tell me any manager who would have done that with the money, to me that's a lot of s***. It seems that Ally had to lay down his career to help out the club, am not a big Ally fan but everything he did was treated with suspicion, even when he had his wages deferred, oh yeah it was because it had come out in the press, give me peace.

17.) 31 Dec 2014
Holy 78: I've heard all this s*** about him paying to save redundancies, you tell me what manager would have done this? Answer None. You guys are priceless, he gets slagged mercilessly, yes, don't interrupt and you look to him to save the club, he probably would have got no credit if he had done that, the guy couldn't do right for doing wrong and I ain't an Ally fan but the guy's moves were always treated with suspicion, bet you he's glad to be away from the lot of you.

{Ed001's Note - actually it has happened a number of times that well off players drop into the non-league or lower league as managers and put their own personal money into those clubs to keep them afloat and stave off things such as redundancies. Dietmar Hamann being a recent example, he went into Stockport County as manager and actually ended up paying gas and electricity bills etc out of his own pockets as the alternative was to make low paid staff redundant. McCoist is an extremely wealthy man, why couldn't he have had his wages deferred under the condition that it went fully to pay the wages of a number of the staff that would otherwise be laid off? Other than personal greed of course.}

18.) 31 Dec 2014
31 Dec 2014 11:20:27
Well said ed! What connection did dietmar hamann have with Stockport none what so ever it was just the right thing to do! Rangers made mccoist a very wealthy man, and another thing he only took a pay cut because green shamed him into it by releasing his Salary,FACT

19.) 31 Dec 2014
He still would have got no credit, it's not well said Ed

20.) 31 Dec 2014
31 Dec 2014 11:48:46
End of the day, why should he? There his wages and yes he took a lot of shit to earn them

{Ed001's Note - he took nothing. What is wrong with people? What on earth did he take? He had 800k paid into his bank account for doing a job he loves! The man is lucky and still deluded people try and claim he is some kind of hero. For heaven's sake, all he does is things he wants to do and gets paid ludicrous amounts for not being particularly good at them. I am sick of this idiocy about how difficult it was! The man had it easy. He should be in the non-leagues learning his craft where it is difficult, instead of being molly coddled by deluded fans.}

21.) 31 Dec 2014
Fact nothing and even if that was true he didn't need to do it and that's rich to say Green shamed anyone into anything.

{Ed001's Note - wow, you really must be related to him or you need help! Morals must be non-existent in your world!}

22.) 31 Dec 2014
Hooly78 we all backed the previous boards to some degree or other we all hoped white was the answer then we hoped green was the answer it wasn't just Ally. Ally was on a higher salary before he joined Rangers and if your telling me that this whole mess has not taken a toll on him then I suggest that you must be blind. Remember this, Ally has left, so change the record.

23.) 31 Dec 2014
31 Dec 2014 12:11:52
Ed if your attitude is what he had to put up with then I say again he's happy to be away, are your morals so greT then, maybe you should put yourself on his shoes as manager before you talk such deluded rubbish.

{Ed001's Note - grow up. You think this is any more to put up with than any job has to cope with? Such an idiotic comment. You need to get a life lad. My morals are fine. I don't let other people go out of work so I can keep my huge wages intact. I have been in a similar situation, though I was on a lot less money, and chose to take a pay cut to protect the jobs of those I worked with. He can afford to work for free, but he still chose to carry on taking huge money out of pure greed, that is lacking morals and defending him shows you lack them too. No wonder the world is in such a state with people like you in it. All you have done is post childish insulting comments, so you are now blocked until you grow up, and your other comments are deleted that you aimed at other posters. You have no defence so resorted to slagging people off, give it a rest or don't come back.}
