The 'rangers board' reject 18 million takeover bid as it undervalues the company!and then in the same statement say they require funding by the end of January through further loans, I wonder who might do that?? More family silver about to be given away, the stadium or Murray park, over to you mike what do you fancy next!

Amazed that the Board think £18m is under-valuing a company which lurches from one crisis to the next and appears to manage the cash flow on a day to day basis by having a whip round in the Boardroom!

Ashley needs to reveal his hand now. he won't allow Club to go bust again as that would jeapordise his retail deals.

I suspect he wants to go to SFA and tell them he is the only option for funding. so SFA either have to allow him to increase his stakes in club or RIFC fold.

Things will get worse! By end of season. MASH will have a firm grip on Car Park, Murray Park and Ibrox.

None of us have a clue of his intentions for the club. fans groups need to unite as one body, rather than all the seperate groups and face the board and Ashley head on.

Without us. there is no club!

Total agreement stuart64 I was beginning to think there was light at the end of the tunnel with King, the three bears and now this american bloke showing an interest in Rangers but know its darker than ever all this board are concerned about is their own prestige and anyone who thinks different is deluded I was looking forward to ending my self imposed exile from ibrox soon but that once again is on hold you are right about all the supporter groups uniting but just like the board they are more preoccupied with self preservation. I personally will not set foot in ibrox nor buy one item of merchandise until this lot are gone and this comes from a father of 3 grandfather of 7 who year after year spent thousands on myself and my family for birthdays and xmas presents all Rangers merchandise. we need to starve this lot out now I know it will hurt the club in the short term but it will be better in the long term. its like going to the dentist and having 5 rotten teeth pulled it hurts like hell at the time but once the hurt goes away you wished you had done it sooner.

Come on guys, saying people have their heads in the sand is getting rather personal. Ashley holds the aces. It's impossible to starve him out, too much money. Taking the jewels will be his next step. If fans do not support his vision then he will just wind up the Company, take the jewels and redevelop. It's a business win win situation. That's worth a lot more than the retail. If that's what you want then that's what you promote.

Surely we all want a better Rangers. Ashley will say I wanted to take Rangers into Europe and the fans went against me. Rangers no more.

On the other hand Ashley or Lambias must reveal their vision of a future Rangers if they want to embrace the fans, in order that the fans can decide their own direction. Sarver already did this to some extent yesterday.

Stuart64 - even more amazing that 18m was his offer for only 55% of the company in the from of 100,000,000 new shares,
that's money that would go straight into to squaring off debts and starting to rebuild the club and the team

He also offered another 14.5m on top of that to buy out all other shareholders

JG. the offer by Sarver is for shares, every penny would go to the shareholders and not as capital to the club to run the day to day business of paying wages, texes, etc.

But at least he sounded like he had some sort of plan once he got control.

Somers, the Bus Boys and Ashley's minnions appear devoid of any solution to the cash crisis other than to borrow and continue borrowing. at the expense of the family silver.

I think Ashley will continue bailing us out until such time as he has all the assets (Ibrox, Murray Park, etc) and also the rites to the badge.

He can then take the money from Sarver, King or whoever for his shares and allow then to take over a club without a stadium, training facility, etc and lease it all back at extortionate rates.

I feel an AFC Wimbledon or an FC Manchester situation beckoning!

Tommie you say its impossible to starve them out this is easily achievable if the fans start to unite and all the fans groups do the same

Stuart. The first 18 million is for 100 million new shares so that is money that would go into the club. He would then have to offer to buy out all the other shareholders at the same price. That is all in his offer. The board says that they don't believe 75% of the shareholders will accept, so the offer is rejected. That was one way to get 18 million into our club!
