Ive just read the story about the young ten year old Rangers fan who was hit by a bottle and had three teeth knocked out while on his way with his dad to his first old firm game, and the Celtic fan who has set up a donation page for him. In days gone by I've sung the songs and I have hated Celtic, but I have to take my hat off to their supporter for what he is doing, it is a wake up call for me, after all its only a game, an incident like that will probably put that young kid off going to football again, I really hope it doesn't.
On the football side of things I'm happy Rangers have signed the lads from Newcastle, but I also think it takes another bit of our identity away. For the first time ever I don't really recognise Rangers anymore, its not the once proud club it used to be, I pray with all my heart we get it back but I have my doubts, I know lads who were diehard Rangers fans but they are just not interested anymore. I can see Rangers losing a future generation of fans if this shambles continues much longer.

Just goes to show that most people on both sides just love their team and are decent chaps. Shame we spend our time and energy talking about the other sort.

The Tims seem keen to out the perp, so let's see if they can manage it.

The biggest culprits for taking our identity away were the imposters that took to the field on Sunday. Most of the performances were disgraceful and these players aren't fit to wear the jersey. I'm glad those players from Newcastle have come in and I would play all 5 right away. Only issue is which 5 do you leave out?

Well said Sir. Majority of the fans on both sides are decent people who are let down by a minority of arseholes who have held both clubs back. I really hope your wrong about gers never being the same again but Sunday was different and didn't have that magical feel about it. celtic are worse there's no doubt we have a symbiotic relationship anyone who denies that are only lying to themselves

Stewie I agree mate but remember who signed them. he's the biggest imposter!

It's a really great gesture from the Celtic fan. Along with the money donated by Celtic for the Ricksen testimonial, it helps put the football side of things in perspective. It's just a game!

As for our recent delivery from sports direct I'd like to see.

Bigirimana for Law
Vuckic for Aird
Streete for McCulloch
Mbabu for Foster
Ferguson for Smith
Monty Magpie for Ian Black

I'd also like to wish Newcastle Utd all the best for the rest of the season, if they can win their 2 games in hand, then just maybe they can catch Hearts.

Couldn't agree more mate this guy is as responsible as anyone for the shambles that was Sunday's performance. Maybe now the pro Ally brigade will realise that this man has done some serious damage to the club and this is his legacy

Royal blue what has bringing 5 lads from Newcastle got to do with are identity? We have never brought are own kids through to the first team, so bringing the 5 in doesn't make any difference to who we are! I'd be more worried if them imposters from Sunday was what are identity was all about

Linger
That's a bit harsh on Monty Magpie lol

The thug who assaulted the ten year old boy are the reason scottish football is the laughing stock of the world at times. Scotlands Shame.
