The BBC also report on rangers supporters travelling from England singing offensive songs. Now whilst I don't condone that sort of behaviour there seems to be very little on the best supporters in the world in Dingwall. Are we back to bias reporting again.

Well well, So all of us over 50 remember the giggle at the time when the stadium was full yet they only declared 30 000 fans in the stadium. And Dermot paying players out his own pocket. And who was the guy at the stadium that had an EBT that never lasted long, now you could say he only had an EBT for a short period. So I steal a car but only a wee bit. It's still breaking the law but it was only a wee bit officer. Let's not forget EBTs were on Rangers accounts they are not illegal.

@Henderson, EBTs are not illegal? I know of a few learned men in positions of importance who have recently judged differently and definitively that EBTs most certainly ARE illegal. I am interested in how you have reached your conclusion that is in complete contradiction to theirs. Do you have special legislative information that no one else is privvie to? If so, why didn't you spread the good news before your old club were confirmed as sporting and tax evading criminals? Likewise, if the goings on at Celtic Park over the years are indeed as illegal as you accuse, then why have Scotlands top club never been taking to court to answer any suggestions of wrong doing? Is it that Her Majesty has had no axe to grind with the "rebel team" but has found a huge axe to grind with that "quintessentially British Club"? I think so.

The learned men you refer to are not experts in tax law unlike the learned men who adjudicated at the tax tribunals who are.

And when Celtic were made aware of just how dodgy the ebt scheme juninho had they paid the tax on it and scrapped it, so if rangers pay the tax on there ebts there would be no problems.

so wee tam did your club use an etb with one of its players?

etb's were legal did we over use them yes, did the etb's win us the league no.

Gents and Wee Tam, may I cordially invite you to review HMRC Website and case no BIM45012 and BIM45013.both these cases surround the former Pacific Shelf entity more popularly known as the Celtic Football and Athletic Club trying to pull one over on the Tax authorities.

As always your learned thoughts on this will be most welcome.

Here's another scenario for the (not so) wise men from the east end to consider. Let's say for example the use of ebt's as a so-called tax avoidance scheme resulted in undeclared earnings and the lack of declaration to the Scottish football authorities. Let's then assume that under precedent set Rangers should have all their matches declared as 3-0 defeats. Let's then say that if this was known to the authorities at the time then Rangers would be relegated as a result? What then? What happens to all the money your team and the other bleating clubs made as a result of Rangers not being potentially relegated? What about tv revenues earned from Sky etc? Ask yourselves then, would you wish your team and others to give back the monies they received to ensure sporting integrity is upheld? I bet none of the clubs would. The point here is to be careful what you wish for. Ps, if the Russian drugs debacle spreads to their football teams then maybe we can look forward to being awarded the Eufa Cup eh 😉.
