So thought on rumoured Red Bull investment?

Personally I'm all for it even if it meant stadium and name change to RB Rangers FC and Red Bull Arena.

Scottish football is completely bereft of investment and as things stand we're just going down the route of more debt. red Bull could help push the brand worldwide. Obviously a name change isn't ideal but Charles Green changed the name to The Rangers. We'll still call the club and stadium what we want anyway.

Winning the Champs League and Domestic trophies is the priority so I'll take what we can get.

Winning the champions league hahahaha! Just when u thought you'd heard it all! I can't actually believe there's some on here that think red bull are going to pump money into a club where nobody knows what's happening from one minute to the next with no possible chance of making any money from it! Really is staggering the stuff some people will believe! Change the stadium name change the team name push the brand worldwide Haha brilliant!

This rosscog is on summit. I want it take me to you're dealer. or maybe it's a wee boy playing FIFA 17 with the financial take over and he bought big players and playing it on beginner that's why he is saying winning the champions league haha!

Bring in red bull get the money and compete for domestic and in Europe group stage. Pump money into our youth and bring in stars from the you academy. That's our goal.

Thoughts?

While I think the CL point is certainly a wee bit too far, you only have to look at Germany with RB Leipzig now 6 points clear. Do I think they'll pump £500 million into us like a Man City saviour, no I don't, but do they want a work in progress, that needs investment, in a worldwide recognised brand within a captive market - that's always a possibility.

Any investment at this stage is worth considering and I think their input would be substantial, and enough to get us quickly challenging Celtic and into Europe (although not winning the CL next year) .

That was when we could compete with big clubs for wages. i'm afraid that European top leagues are too far away to ever be caught as long as we are in the SPFL. Our league will never be high enough quality or generate enough interest to reach that level.

Messi on 500k per week as the prime example come a long way from 50k back in the 90s lol.

Tbf the arse is going to fall out the market soon similar to what happened in Italy, however anybody who thinks we, or celtic for that matter will ever get near a European final again is on drugs.
